How it was possible not to put a button for closing the trunk on such an expensive car, I personally do not understand, this is not a Zhiguli, but a business class car in one word - shame and shame. The dealer offered to install a power increase unit - it really bribed me. So while the car pleases with its appearance, but it goes clearly mediocre. Mercedes is a beautiful picture, but in terms of practicality, convenience and driving characteristics, it is clearly inferior to its competitors.

I won't take the Japanese any more - it's just an indescribable feeling, I have never experienced such pleasure from a car. I still want to go somewhere faster, even if I don't really need to go there. The salon is just a fairy tale, it makes this car 10 out of 10. At night it is as if you are controlling a spaceship, the dynamic lighting does its job. The seats are comfortable, the on-board computer is simple and straightforward. Music "Burmister" fire (there is even better, but prices are already higher there). 2 liters of turbo is enough for the city for the eyes, the acceleration is cool. Cameras were stuck all over the city and now more than 70 I don't accelerate at all, and I'm not alone, but the whole city. There is an "active sport" mode - this is when you barely touch the pedals and the car accelerates without delay, but I drive only in comfort. Four-wheel drive drives confidently through the snowdrifts, there was no need to get stuck. Control. I don't even know how to describe it, but you feel the car completely. We can say that you are one with the car, "Camry" with "Date" as if some trough after it. The lateral support of the seats helps a lot with this. The car is 19 tough. Oh, how he does not like rare holes. If you want to remove the stiffness, you need to put 17 disks and you will be happy, but I like 19, I will not change (I saw some comrades put 20). There are all sorts of tricks, like you open the trunk with your foot (it is, by the way, big), parks itself (who needs it), it slows down if you gape and fly into someone's ass. Suction cups on the doors (cool thing). The first MOT came out in only 30 thousand rubles (checking light bulbs 3 thousand rubles, checking the air filter 3 thousand rubles, etc.). The restyling of 2013 was remembered by many precisely for the fact that the hand simply will not rise to call it a facelift. The exterior was redrawn very thoroughly: the car received new head optics, and with the help of small touches, the appearance was incredibly transformed - from a rough and faceted shell, the car turned into an example of an elegant style with an admixture of high-tech. The salon was also ennobled: there was more color and smooth lines in it, and in addition, they abandoned the gloomy gray plastic and massive steering wheel.

We also worked with the technology thoroughly - the line of gasoline engines was replaced with a new one in 2011, removing the rather outdated and frankly unsuccessful motors of the M271 and M272 series. By and large, if you notice corrosion, then you don't have to look at the car any further: these are consequences of either an accident, or a very tough operation, all other problems at such a childhood do not yet manifest themselves.

Well, if you are looking far into the future, then look for a car with a flawlessly intact joint sealant and apply an additional layer of anticorrosive on the bottom - the protection looks weak, despite the large amount of plastic, and the internal cavities need protection, the experience of past generations of the E-class says that it is better to do it right away.

It is also recommended to clean the "aquarium" - a niche under the windshield. The drains are small and quickly become dirty with the remnants of leaves - the body is usually not in danger from this, but there will be many problems in the electrical part, and it will spill into the interior. Since 2014, the 9G -tronic nine-speed automatic transmission has been installed on BlueTech diesel models. The inline fours of the M274 series received an aluminum block, a delicate piston group and turbocharging. On the E-class, only a 2.0-liter version was installed in two degrees of boost. The motor has shown itself well so far, but cases of scuffing piston group occur, the motor does not tolerate even the slightest overheating, and besides, it is sometimes prone to "oil consumption" at a very young age.

The third includes the most prestigious V-shaped "eights" with a working volume of 4.3 and 5.4 liters. The models equipped with them, perhaps, can be attributed to representative ones. For the powerful "E420" with a 4.2-liter V8 with a capacity of 279 horsepower since 1997, the Germans have increased the engine capacity by 100 "cubes", leaving the power unchanged - for the sake of increasing the already considerable torque. So, the E50 AMG received a forced 5-liter V8 with 347 horsepower. With such a potential, the car accelerated to a hundred in 7.2 seconds, and the maximum speed was limited to the standard 250 km / h. The E55 AMG model had an even more impressive 5.4-liter "eight" with a capacity of 354 horsepower. Therefore, acceleration to a hundred takes only 5.7 seconds, and the powerful torque (530 Nm) literally throws the car forward even from 200 km / h. Externally, AMG cars are distinguished by plastic door sills, lower bumpers, additional spoilers and special sports wheels. The fourth generation of the E-Class W212 was shown in early January 2009 at the Detroit Auto Show.
