The AMG brand was created over 45 years ago by two engineers, Hans Werner Aufrecht and Erhard Melcher in the village of Großapach. The beginning of the brand dates back to the 60s. In addition, there is a "transitional" modification in the model lineup - a "heated" GLE 450 AMG 4Matic (externally and internally it is similar to the aforementioned "monsters"), equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 engine with bi-turbocharging, in the arsenal of which there are 367 "horses "At 5500-6000 rpm and 520 Nm at 2000-4200 rpm. Such a crossover is equipped with a 9-band 9G-Tronic and an unbalanced four-wheel drive... It needs 5.7 seconds to accelerate from zero to "hundreds", the peak of its capabilities is at 250 km / h, and the fuel consumption does not exceed 9.4 liters.
Structurally, the "hot" modifications of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 and GLE 63 S differ little from the standard crossover: independent suspension of both axles with pneumatic elements and adaptive electric power steering (but only with sporty settings).
