The history of Lanos began in 1997 under the Daewoo brand after the official debut at the March Geneva Motor Show, but in 2002, after the acquisition of part of the shares of the then South Korean brand by General Motors, the model tried on the Chevrolet cross, having experienced a slight update. Outside, the Chevrolet Lanos looks restrained - you won’t find designer chips in appearance, but you definitely can’t call it completely ugly either. The “American” sedan is pleasing to the eye, and a significant role in this belongs to the smooth and soft lines of the exterior, nice head optics and neat taillights.

Lanos belongs to the European B-class cars: its length is 4237 mm, of which the distance between the axles is 2520 mm, the width is 1678 mm, the height is 1432 mm. The ground clearance of the equipped four-door is set at around 160 mm, and its “traveling” weight is 1070 kg.

For a long time Lanos was considered the most popular car brand Chevrolet. At one time, it was considered as its main competitors Lada Kalina and Renault Logan. However, to strongly push these models to Russian market he never could, even thanks to the low price and the absence of serious problems with spare parts.
