Almost hooked up the alarm
there was a problem with the connection of the central lock.
On the standard block of the central locking system VAZ-2110 there are free 6 and 8 contacts. Is it control and what polarity is it controlled?

do not tell me where it is?
I installed the signaling - I was looking for the central locking unit, I climbed everything, but I could not find it. I got out of the position, finding the wires in the harness from the central locking system. Control - negative polarity (at least for me)

Re: tell me where is it?
The central locking unit is located next to the engine control unit, a little higher, closer to the radio tape recorder. There is also a regular immobilizer nearby.

Re: Controlling the central lock VAZ-2110?
In my opinion, you need to connect the alarm to the brown and white wires. Which one is responsible for opening, and which one for closing I do not remember. CH refers to a three-wire system with negative polarity.

Listen here
The central locking unit is located under the center console. It is better to get to it by unscrewing the left (driver's) shield at the driver's feet. But it is still not visible (I could not). And only by touch, when I saw a suitable wiring harness - I reached out to the block with my hand and with great difficulty disconnected the connector from it (Soviet connectors are the most difficult to disconnect - I pulled and rocked for about ten minutes)
I confidently advise you to entrust the control of the locks not to this block, but to the signaling itself. The fact is that there have been cases that this block is buggy and does not turn off the mechanisms in the doors - as a result, all 4 locks are on fire together. (When recently TO1 passed, he himself witnessed how all 4 locks and this block were changed to a peasant on a 10-ke. According to the peasant, they began to do it at 11 o'clock, I left from TO at 18 o'clock, and the peasant did not see the end and edge of the work - the electricians could not share the blame with the signaling devices). So pull out this connector and connect the signaling wires to it. And everything will be OK.
Best regards, Evgeniy

Central locking is a system of devices designed to unlock or lock the doors of a car. As a rule, unlocking and locking takes place using a remote control, which, in addition to locking the doors, has a trunk opening function.

In addition, if the remote control stops working, you can insert the key into the lock cylinder and turn it clockwise. After this action, when one door is locked, all the others will close, making it easier for the driver.

If the car for any reason gets into an accident, then the locks will automatically open, thereby making it easier to leave the car, and create access to the salon for rescuers.

Scheme and principle of operation of the central lock

There are special sensors in the design of the central locking system, which are the basis of the locking system. They are very small switches and limit switches as well as actuators and a main control box. Limit switches are designed to hold the door and further transfer information to the control unit. The switches, on the other hand, control the position of the part that must lock the lock.

To block the front doors, use cam devices which are controlled by two switches. The first is for opening the door, the second for locking.

A similar system is used for rear doors however, there is also a fifth switch. It closes when the door is open and turns off central locking.

The control unit receives information from the panel and door switches, processes it and sends a signal for execution to the switches, which, in the future, close the locks control drive circuits.

Video - Causes of malfunction of the central lock VAZ

As with any technique, the central locking system can fail. Most often, drivers themselves have a detrimental effect on the central locking of the car. An example of this would be a long press on the remote control button. Indeed, when the locking or unlocking circuit is closed, an electric motor is triggered, the collector of which heats up great and disables the entire actuator drive. At the same time, the door does not react in any way to pressing the remote control buttons. You can eliminate such a malfunction by replacing the activator with a new one.

If the entire lock suddenly lost power, then the troubleshooting begins with the fuse. Its location can vary from the fuse box to the floor of the vehicle. In the case of the floor, if it is located under the rug, then moisture that accumulates during the operation of the car in winter, spring and when using linoleum as floor covering can become the cause of its burnout. In this case, the cause of the malfunction is eliminated and the fuse must be replaced.

In addition to electrical faults, there are also mechanical faults in the operation of the central locking system. These include damage to the gears of the entire modular block of the locking drive and wear of the solenoid. The modular unit must be completely replaced, but a simple gear replacement can be dispensed with. The solenoid, in turn, also undergoes replacement, since its resource is usually enough for 10 thousand operations for closing and opening.

Failure of mechanical parts can also occur due to lack of lubrication in moving parts. Therefore, it is recommended to periodically check the condition of the metal parts and the presence of a lubricant on them.

Before starting the installation, it is necessary to remove the battery terminal, dismantle the door trim and find a place for installation. It should be borne in mind that the mechanism for moving glasses has its own characteristics. Therefore, before installing the lock in the chosen place, make sure that both mechanisms will not interfere with each other. Usually, the plant provides for special attachment points for such locks, and in exceptional cases also electrical components that are already fixed in place. Fastening of purchased elements is carried out using self-tapping screws and bolts with nuts.

Pull the wiring up to the control box on-board computer... You can find it right under the stove shaft in the car. Since there are certain standards for connecting central locks, it will not be difficult for you to correctly connect all the wiring. In addition, such elements usually include electrical circuits... It is recommended to route the rear door locks wiring along the vehicle sills.

After connecting all the elements, it is necessary to check the locking process. Close all doors and stay inside the vehicle. Press the lock button on the remote control and make sure all doors are locked. Try to lower the windows of the vehicle. If the windows dropped without any problems, and this did not affect the performance of the central lock, then this means that the lock is installed correctly. Finally, check if the rods of the drive locks interfere with opening the door using standard handles.

If all elements work correctly, then the installation of the lock was successful. All metal parts of the central lock are subject to mandatory lubrication, and only after that it is allowed to install door trim cards.

This is perhaps all that you need to know about installing a VAZ 2110 central lock. However, do not forget that you can install the lock not only on your own, but also contact any station with help Maintenance cars where this work can be easily done and performed efficiently.

Despite the fact that central locks (CZ) are now almost universally installed on all cars, some cars are not equipped with this protection system. Although it is difficult to call it a system, since the only obstacle that provides a central locking system for an attacker is the closed doors of the car. Read more about how to put on a VAZ 2110 car in this article.

Central locking principle

On the VAZ 2110, the central locking is a system designed to open and close the doors of a vehicle. For more convenient control of the central lock on the VAZ 2110, and on other cars, the remote control has been used for a long time. If necessary, the central lock can be configured so that it turns on automatically after a certain period of time. Depending on the system, you can also control the door using the key fob luggage compartment, the engine compartment, and sometimes the central locking system even allows you to open and close the glass. In the event of an accident, the central locking system can work automatically by opening all the doors of the vehicle.

The central locking of the VAZ includes sensors in its design - these are door switches, solenoids, as well as a control unit. The limit adjuster is designed to fix the position of the doors, and this data, in turn, is transmitted to the VAZ 2110. The purpose of the switches is to fasten the structural elements of the door lock.

The blocking of the system itself is carried out using one switch, and the unlocking function is performed by another sensor. The design includes two more switches to ensure normal operation of the locking mechanism. Another - the fifth switch - is mounted on the lever mechanism of the drive, its purpose is to identify the position of the door. If the car door is open, then the contacts of the elements are closed, respectively, the entire system is deactivated. To perform a particular function, the control unit transmits an impulse to certain control devices, thus activating the drive.

Possible malfunctions of the locking system

If you need to find out how to find the main control unit with your own hands, then first of all you need to familiarize yourself with service book- it should indicate where the mechanism is located. As a rule, there is a block under the center console, sometimes it can be hidden in the door itself. It's not a secret for anyone that any device cannot work forever and over time, failures can also appear in the work of the central locking system. In practice, the device can often stop functioning due to the fact that the driver, through the remote control, transmits an extended or frequent signal to open or close the doors.

If the central locking stopped working for this reason, then first of all you need to check the activators. When a long signal is given, it will heat up the motor manifold of the system, which can lead to melting of the brush holder. The latter can jam. VAZ 2110 in this case will consist in replacing this element.

A safety device located in the passenger compartment is used to protect the wiring. vehicle, right behind the block. If you have a VAZ 2110 central locking scheme, then you can easily find this element. In the event that the central lock is not functioning, you need to check this component. It will also be necessary to repair the central lock if the plug with wiring, which is usually located at the driver's feet, is oxidized.

As practice shows, sometimes the cause of a breakdown is a modular central locking unit. Its diagnosis consists in supplying voltage to the connector pin directly from the battery. In gear activators, the gears are made of plastic, respectively, they are subject to wear over time, so they will also need to be changed. But most weak point systems are solenoids - they break most often.

Installation instructions

In your car is carried out in this way:

  1. First, you need to turn off the battery and dismantle the car door trim and dismantle the power windows. Having done this, you need to choose a place for mounting the activator. The installation of this element is carried out in any position; it is important that there is a lot of space for the operation of the device so that the thrust can freely pass. It should also be borne in mind that the traction should be connected in the most convenient way.
  2. You need to fix the activator on the most even surface. If you allow even a slight misalignment that can occur as a result of fixing the device on an uneven surface, this can cause difficulties in the operation of the gear shafts. When installing the device, it will be necessary to use washers or bushings, this will ensure the leveling of the surface. In the event that an element falls into a hole in the metal of the door, a special plate must be included with the activator, use it.
  3. Since the design at the doors of the "dozen" is peculiar, the rod itself must be bent correctly before installation. The fold angle itself should be minimal and preferably the most precise. In the event that the angle is close to the arc itself or the distance from the rod to the element holder is too large, problems will arise in the operation of the central locking system. The system will not increase the power to move the thrust, but give this force to overcome the bend of the arc.
  4. When this element is installed, the wires are laid from each door to the place where the control unit will be installed. The wires must be routed at the bottom of the doors to prevent them from being hit by the windows and other moving body components. At the connection points, the wires must be well insulated, otherwise moisture can provoke a short circuit in the system. There are special rubber corrugations for laying the wiring between the doors and the body - the wires must be passed through them. P When routing the wires in the door, make sure they do not break when closing.
  5. The next step is to install the block. As a rule, the unit is placed either behind the center console or in the car door. It should be borne in mind that the unit must be located in a place that is hard to reach for an intruder, but at the same time this place must be dry and protected from moisture. Therefore, if you decide to put the central locking unit in the door, then in no case should you put it below it, since moisture and dirt usually accumulate here. After some time of operation, these factors will lead to the fact that the unit will not be able to operate normally. Also, when installing the unit, pay attention to the fact that power windows should not interfere with its operation, and the unit itself should not interfere with them.
  6. After installing the unit, the wiring is connected, for this, the connection diagram for the VAZ 2110 central lock is used, which should be included with the system. After connecting, check if the central lock is working correctly. If the solenoid does not have enough effort to open the rods, you need to find the cause and get rid of the malfunction (the author of the video is the PROSTOYE SHTUKI channel).

Repair features

As a rule, in the event of a central locking system inoperability, experienced electricians first of all check the condition of the sensors. If the central lock is associated with the anti-theft system, then it is she who is checked first. As mentioned above, activators fail most often, so they should also be checked.

In the event that a certain door refuses to work, the reason must be hiccuped in it. It can be either the solenoid itself or the wires. During the operation of the car and the frequent opening and closing of doors in the wiring chain, an open circuit may occur due to bending and mechanical breakdown of the wire itself. If this is the case, then the wire must be replaced or the torn parts must be reconnected, and then insulated.

Cars produced in the 21st century are very technologically advanced and thought out from a safety point of view. They include many devices for the protection and comfort of the vehicle owner. Domestic auto industry tries to keep up to the best of his ability - and in the car VAZ 2109 and 2110 there was a central lock.

Additional option - is it worth ordering?

The presence of a central locking in a VAZ car refers to additional options, and even then, if we talk about cars produced after 2000. However, in VAZ 2109 models, devoid of this dignity, it is not difficult to install it.

The main purpose of the VAZ 2109 central lock is to automatically open and close all car doors at the same time. The central lock can be controlled using an alarm panel that interacts with the system, as well as using a key. The central locking mechanism consists of several sensors, which are located in the door envelopes, and circuit breakers. This entire system is interconnected and looped back to the vehicle's power supply.

Central locking installation - car upgrade

If you are interested in such a device, you can install it yourself at home. You can buy a central lock for a VAZ 2109 in almost any car dealership. By the type of construction, they are the same, so a lock from other VAZ cars is also suitable. For installation, in addition to the lock, you will need several screwdrivers and keys, as well as desire and patience.

Before starting work, you need to disconnect the terminals from the car battery, since installing the lock requires actions with connecting the power supply. After that, you can start removing the cards with the skin. In the process of removing the latches on which they are held may break, so prepare new ones in advance.

Next, you need to choose the right place for. It is worth considering the peculiarity of the movement of the glass mechanism. In rare cases, you may need to purchase additional mounts for the car envelope. The central locking is attached to screws and bolts with nuts. Basically, the factory provides a place for installing the lock, there are also special electrical chips for connecting it.

If there are no such chips in the envelope of your VAZ 2109, then you will need to stretch the wiring to the on-board computer control unit. It is located inside the car under the stove shaft. It will not be difficult for you to correctly connect the power supply, because all the chips are universal. The same installation procedure must be done with the rest of the car cards. It is best to run the wiring from the rear door locks on the sills of the car.

After installing the central locking mechanism, check that all doors are working properly. It is very important that the lock rods move freely and do not interfere with the opening of the main lock handle, as well as the lowering of the car window. All metal connections must be lubricated during installation. And only after that, proceed to reassembling the cards with skin.

Broken central lock - we will repair it ourselves!

It quite often happens that the system fails - if you are the owner domestic car, you are no stranger to breakdowns. This may be a partial breakdown, which in some cases requires cleaning the mechanism from dust or more accurate alignment of the lock fastening rods, or minor failures in the power supply system. Sometimes there is a complete failure of the entire device, which requires the replacement of some elements of the mechanism.

Central locking sensors often fail and are easy to replace. Since the lock is directly connected with the car alarm, in our case it is necessary to start checking from it. Try to open and close the driver's door lock with the key. If the central locking system works, then the problem is precisely in the alarm. If there is no alarm in your car, then proceed immediately to check the system of the entire lock.

The main cause of a breakdown in the central locking mechanism is a device called an activator.

It is installed in the front doors of the vehicle. Its main action is to send an electrical signal to other doors to open or close them. When the activators are triggered, the signal goes to the central board, which has fuses. Although they fail quite rarely, they also need to be checked.

Additional fuses are located in the very envelope of the car, near each mechanism with a rod. If the lock on one door does not work, then the problem is located there. To fix it, you need a new fuse and a set of tools. Very often, the owners of the VAZ 2109 come to a different solution and connect the wires directly, however, this is not recommended, because in the future the entire central locking system may completely fail.

The central locking mechanism is designed in such a way that if the activator breaks down in the driver's door envelope, the rest will also not work. If you have a problem with the manual door opening button, then look for the reasons in the violation of fixing the fastening of the activator rod.

When connecting an electrical circuit, it is best to make the VAZ 2110 work when the key is turned in the ignition lock. This will keep you safe while traveling. To make this type of connection, you need to carefully read the installation instructions. If necessary, you should call an electrician for help or carry out the installation at a specialized car service.

Central locking, or as it is shortly called "TsZ" - a necessary and necessary thing for any car, allowing the owner with just one movement of his hand to open and close any door in the car. However, it happens that this system ceases to function completely, or some of its parts do not work properly.

There are reasons why one or another part of the central lock may fail, and we will describe each in detail below.

Central locking does not work: symptoms of malfunction and their causes

It so happens that when the central lock located on the driver's door is closed, no action on the other doors occurs. However, as soon as you move it a little, the doors immediately closed. It is immediately clear that the point here is the presence of malfunctions in the central lock and some reasons contribute to this.

Among all possible reasons malfunctions can be identified all the most basic.

No contact in the drive

With such a fault, the contacts inside the control drive the required contacts are not closed in time. This happens for several reasons:

When such problems are encountered in the operation of the central lock, the first step is to make sure that the button is pushed down to the very end. If, for some reason, this does not happen, first inspect the casing for scoring, and then inspect the thrust for its even and precise position.

Blown fuse

If manipulations with the central locking rod do not bring any results, and they do not react in any way to either opening or locking, then first of all it is necessary to check its electrical circuit, and specifically the fuse. Because at the central lock, it can fail not only when a short circuit occurs in the circuit, but also from the slightest overload.

The central locking fuse is indicated with a marker.

Overload occurs most often from insufficient position of the rods, as well as lubrication in them during winter operation car.

Central locking wires interrupted

A break in the wires is not the main one, but one of the reasons for the failure of the central lock. The main reason for this is precisely the break of the wires in those places where they have the greatest load. This place is undoubtedly the passage of the corrugation from the side of the pillar and the driver's door. And since it is the driver's door that is most often opened in any car, it is she who gets most of the load.

  • It is quite easy to identify such a malfunction, you just need to free one of the ends of the corrugation, in which the wires pass through the door and pull one of the five wires of the central lock. As a rule, they are connected in one harness, or go next to each other.
  • After carrying out such manipulations, the wire that is torn or interrupted will easily succumb among the general heap.
  • If you are sure of a malfunction of a particular circuit, it will not be difficult to replace it by inserting the required wire and further insulation with electrical tape.
  • When the wires are broken or torn in other places, the fault can only be found by ringing the circuit with a multimeter.

Burned out block

Another reason for the possible failure of the central lock is the burnout of the central locking unit. And in order to diagnose it, you must use the above-mentioned multimeter and determine the presence of voltage at the contacts of the unit.

This is what the immobilizer and central locking unit look like behind the dashboard.

Please note that during the diagnosis, it is necessary to act on the lock in the driver's door so that impulses are sent from it to the main unit.

Central locking actuator defective

And the last reason why the central lock refuses to work will be the failure of the activator on the central drive. It can fail both for mechanical reasons, due to wear of rubbing parts, and due to the effect of external factors of moisture and corrosion on it.

In the event of a breakdown of the activator itself, it is required to replace the electric drive with a new one and replace it. Note the fact that the actuator must have five wires of different colors.

The principle of operation of the central lock on the VAZ-2112

The central lock, which operates from the driver's door drive VAZ-2112, works as follows:

When the lock is closed, the rod on the driver's door goes down, thereby closing certain contacts on the electric drive. From these actions, the central locking unit receives signals, and transmits commands to the drives of all other door locks. Their discovery takes place in the same way.
