Nissan terrano the current generation, designed on the basis of Renault Duster, entered the Russian market much later than its "donor". That is why, when the Frenchman underwent restyling in 2015, the Terrano was still equipped with old engines. Considering that the production of cars with different technical equipment simply unprofitable, after the restyling of 2016 japanese crossover received the same engines as its previously updated French "brother". And besides, the "Japanese" has finally acquired a previously inaccessible all-wheel drive modification with automatic transmission - about it, about new engines and everything else that has changed during the modernization, read our review!

Design

The photo shows the "refreshed" Terrano of the 2016 model year, and upon closer examination - the painfully familiar Duster to Russians with the "face" of the Nissan Pathfinder and Patrol of the previous generation, with new stylized taillights and wheel discs with a different pattern. Roughly speaking, practically nothing has changed in the exterior of the crossover. In the front part of the body there are the same headlights, the "stern" has the old design, the size of the gas tank flap is the same, but now the hatch is locked, and this is undoubtedly a big plus.

Door luggage compartment, as before, is quite large - 408 liters are hidden under it. cargo space in the latest all-wheel drive modification, or as much as 475 liters. on the front wheel drive version. Inside the trunk is a full-size "spare" and a 2-section rigid shelf instead of a roll-up curtain separating it from the rear of the passenger compartment. The body colors look richer than those of the Duster - the fact that the Terrano 2016 is absolutely rightly more expensive than the "donor" model is also hinted at by higher-quality interior materials. The facelifted car really looks expensive - almost like the previous generation Nissan Patrol.

Design

Like its "progenitor" Duster, the restyled Terrano is based on the budget B0 chassis. The Nissan crossover has 70% of the common components with Renault Logan and Sandero: less than 300 million euros were invested in its creation. The MacPherson strut arms of the Japanese novelty are reinforced and longer than those of the Logan. Front-wheel drive models have a torsion beam at the rear, while other versions have an independent design like the previous generation X-Trail. The torque is transmitted to the rear axle by an electromagnetic GKN clutch from the Murano SUV.

Adaptation to Russian conditions

On the harsh Russian off-road terrain, Terrano 2016 instills real confidence thanks to the All Mode 4x4 plug-in all-wheel drive with VDC dynamic stabilization system, low weight and a ground clearance of 210 mm (for front-wheel-drive cars - 205 mm). The tires of the car are quite decent - Continental CrossContact (there used to be echoing Amtel tires), but the sound insulation is poor, in contrast to the updated Duster - this is especially noticeable on the track. With the onset of cold weather, heated front seats and side mirrors will come to the rescue (available starting with the Elegance trim level). Heated steering wheel and windshield unfortunately not provided.

Comfort

The dashboard made of hard plastic and the "tidy" of the new items are similar to those of Duster, but the Terrano has a different design of the center console: you can see double air duct deflectors with silver edging, and under them there is a Nissan multimedia system, which, alas, is located too far from the driver. On the center console there is also a button for turning on the economy driving mode, again difficult to access, and the corresponding indicator is located on the dashboard. The design of the instrument cluster has changed - now it is made in the form of three wells with a blue display (previously it was orange) and a prompt for the appropriate timing of gear changes in manual mode, which is typical for all recent Renault models. The innovations also include an overboard temperature indicator, an automatic glass closer in the driver's door, a lamp cover and an additional socket for second-row passengers. A cartridge with a pair of USB inputs is inserted into Terrano sockets.

The steering wheel in this case is the most ordinary one, with silver inserts, without adjustment for reach and the ability to beep by pressing the center - the Renault bibikalk still lives in the end of the left steering column lever. Multifunctional wheel with knobs on the spokes is not available in any trim level. The front seats are large, but with a short seat and no lumbar support. Because of steering column it is not regulated by departure, it is not possible to adjust the driver's seat "for yourself". On the back couch, too, not everything is smooth: like the Duster, the amount of space for passengers is very limited here.

The initial Comfort version offers only two front airbags, anti-lock braking brake system(ABS), Brake Force Distribution (EBD) and Dynamic Stability Control VDC (not installed on front wheel drive cars with a 1.6-liter engine and manual transmission), which allows you to easily cope with slippery turns and maintain control of the car in any weather. Side airbags appear already in the more expensive Elegance trim level, and the pre-top version Elegance Plus is complemented by rear parking sensors. Only the top-end version of Tekna has a rearview camera - the image from the camera is displayed on the screen of the multimedia complex, helping to make the parking process as accurate and safe as possible.

In the "base" Terrano 2016 is equipped with a conventional CD / MP3 audio preparation with 4 speakers, and in the top - a multifunctional multimedia system NissanConnect with a five-inch high-resolution touchscreen display, which combines an audio system and a navigator with communication functions. For updating navigation information and connecting gadgets, the NissanConnect complex has an SD card slot and a USB port. The built-in audio system allows you to listen to your favorite music tracks from standard CDs and control radio stations, and also supports MP3, WMA and WAV formats. By connecting to on-board network iPod or smartphone via Bluetooth, you can plan a route and make calls without being distracted from the ride.

Nissan Terrano Specifications

The range of engines of the Terrano that has undergone a facelift includes petrol "fours" borrowed from the restyled version of Duster, namely, 1.6-liter 114-horsepower and two-liter 143-horsepower engines (before the upgrade, their power was 102 and 135 hp, respectively) that meet the Euro-5 eco-standard. The first unit is combined with both the front and four-wheel drive, and the second is available only for all-wheel drive modifications. 1.6 liter engine. works in tandem with a five- or six-speed "mechanics", and the company of the two-liter engine is a 6-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic transmission. The latter belongs to the latest all-wheel drive modification, but it is not new itself - we are talking about the evolution of the DP0 gearbox, which has long been developed in cooperation with the French PSA alliance. According to the manufacturer, the average fuel consumption of the Terrano 2016 is 7.4-8.7 l / 100 km, but the real figure is around 10 liters.

The popular crossover has gained well-deserved popularity among owners in the Russian Federation. However, with a big caveat - it is too important where the assembly took place. Regardless of the general standard of the Japanese brand, the difference between different industries is global.

Initially, the Nissan Terrano was not planned for direct export to Russia. The model appeared on the roads privately and cost significantly more than in the world. After that, cars of the assembly of 4 factories began to be imported into the territory of the Russian Federation:

  • headquarters in Japan;
  • Samsung plant in South Korea;
  • Nissan factory in Spain;
  • Great Britain, plant in the city of Sunderland.

In the current state, cars from these countries practically do not appear on Russian market and are intended for domestic markets. Since 2013 this model was also supplied in the assembly of India (the city of Oragadame), but at the time of 2018 the Russian market is served by domestic factories.

The emergence of Russian production

Since 2009, a plant has opened in St. Petersburg, but the Nissan Terrano was not assembled there. This day came in 2013, when the Japanese manufacturer signed a contract with the domestic manufacturer Avtoframos. This site is now completely sold to Renault, Nissan's French partner.

The first Terranos were delivered to showrooms in June 2014 in 4 trim levels. And at that moment, what was said above was revealed. The Spanish assembly against the background of the domestic one turned out to be just awful. The owners complained about welding defects, loud noise in the cabin when the engine is running, and grinding of components.

The second plant that Nissan Terrano produces is the Volga Automobile Plant. General reviews about all cars in this series are quite positive. It so happened that the assembly of a car on Russian territory is qualitatively different from other factories for the better.

Useful video

The 2018 Nissan Terrano has become more spacious, easier to drive and more brutal in appearance. At the same time, the price range announced by the manufacturer does not differ too much from the cost of 5 years ago. The 4 types of equipment also do not differ too much in price, and the set of functions of the basic and luxury versions is significant. At the same time, it is noted that the cost of a crossover for its filling and performance is quite democratic.

Nissan Terrano, from 677 000 rubles, CAR from 6.46 rubles / km

Dairy Brotherhood

Standardization, unification, badge engineering and similar buzzwords - in the market, as in war, all means are good in achieving the goal. And so cars of different brands are born, between which there are much less differences than similarities.

This is not to say that Nissan badly needed a fundamentally new compact crossover... After all, it would certainly be possible to extend the life of the first generation "Qashqai", leaving it in the cage along with new car- some companies do just that. So after all, many buyers would only say thank you! However, the top decided to act differently.

So - welcome: the new Terrano! As you might guess, this car has nothing to do with the frame robust who lived and flourished long before the appearance of the Qashqai and Juke. And don't be fooled by the belligerent Pathfinder-style "face" and the swollen wheel arches that cover big wheels... It doesn't smell of intrigue: no makeup can hide the true origin of the "Japanese" crossover, which premiered in India last September and ended up in Russia this summer. Yes, this is Renault Duster, a well-known to all of us - the Romanian "Frenchman" of the Russian assembly. Only, of course, more expensive.

Which choice?

PRICE POLICY AS HINTS: DUSTER - FOR THE PEOPLE, TERRANO - FOR THE FAVORITE

Overpayment with restrictions

If you open the price list and look at the price of the basic version, you can see that the Terrano is almost a third more expensive than the Duster. Why would it suddenly? It's simple. Most of the "Dasters" are sold in the optimal version 2.0 MT 4WD, which costs less than 700 thousand rubles. The two-liter Qashqai only starts at 910 thousand. And Terrano fits this price gap very well.

As an excuse, the basic equipment of Nissan was made noticeably richer than that of Renault: air conditioning, an audio system and a pair of power windows are already present in the most democratic version of Comfort - as well as roof rails, coupled with bumpers painted in body color. And yet, a number of disadvantages prevent such a crossover from being recognized as optimal.

So, for example, any required modern car electric drive and heated mirrors, as well as an onboard computer and seat heating, are not required for the base Nissan at all. More importantly, Comfort defaults to a modest 1.6-liter engine. More powerful power unit pulls along automatic transmission gears - the minimum price of such a set increases to 762,700 rubles. And with a 2-liter engine and all-wheel drive Terrano in the Comfort package does not exist at all. Buying such a car does not make any sense: for those who want to save money at all costs, it makes sense to take the Duster Expression, which is at least 70 thousand cheaper in similar equipment.

Choosing the optimum

The optimal, in our opinion, Terrano is a modification with a 2-liter engine and an all-wheel drive transmission in the Elegance configuration for 815 thousand rubles. A quartet of pillows, a dynamic stabilization system and a third headrest on the rear sofa guarantee proper safety, and in terms of ergonomics, such a crossover looks preferable: the driver's seat has height adjustment, and the rear-view mirrors are electrically adjustable.

The only pity is that the Terrano 2.0 4WD can be exclusively on the "handle": unlike the same "Duster", the "automatic" to it cannot be added - and in fact it would be very useful for a more prestigious car! However, it must be assumed that the appearance of such a modification is a matter of time: after all, Renault did not immediately have it either.

The surcharge for the third set of Elegance Plus does not seem transcendental (34,000 rubles), although there are no really important additives in it: light alloy wheels and rear parking sensors. By and large, it is quite possible to do without leather on the steering wheel, electric rear windows and tinting.

And finally, the top version of the Tekna should appeal to those who care about the presence of a leather interior and multimedia Nissan systems Connect with a rear view camera. Such a car is 70 thousand rubles more expensive than the optimum, and the final price list under 900 thousand looks like an overkill.

The body color palette, alas, looks rather modest: free white acrylic plus five metallics for a surcharge of 9 thousand rubles. There is something to marvel at: for "Duster" metallic will cost a thousand more!

Outside and inside

PLASTIC SURGERY IS A PLEASURE NOT CHEAP

Design and only

As befits a crossover, Terrano looks more solid and larger than many cars. At the front, the car stylistically echoes the older Nissan SUVs and, therefore, quite convincingly creates the impression of a more expensive car rather than Duster.

It is gratifying that the design delights in no way affected the practicality of the car: the crossover has good geometric cross-country ability and standard steel crankcase. True, the Terrano also inherited the disadvantages of Renault: these are creaking door handles and sidewalls, which instantly throws mud; and mirrors, folding with a crash, and a decent-sized gap between the hood and windshield.

Inside, the "Japanese" does not differ much from the "Frenchman": it has its own air vents on the center console, a refined audio system, a small cache above the front panel and a steering wheel with a different hub - that's all the differences. It will not be enough!

Bad heredity

But the abundance of hard scratching plastic, uncovered screw caps, bare metal on the trunk lid and under the floor of the sofa seat, as well as shallow cup holders that refuse to securely hold any container - all these are generic signs of cars based on the unpretentious Logan of the first generation. Needless to say that new model, for which they ask for very decent money, do not such "moles" decorate at all?

The Nissan Connect multimedia, which was once developed for the Note, now looks outdated: the system speed and display size leave much to be desired.

However, such little things can be forgiven if you open the huge trunk. There are no inconvenient protruding elements and pointless nooks and crannies, but there was a place for a couple of quite successful niches. And if you fold the back of the sofa, the Terrano easily turns into a van with a volume of more than one and a half cubic meters.

It is a pity that the engineers did not bother to equip the car with a normal trunk curtain: you will have to put up with a curtain made of unsightly leatherette fixed on two plastic sticks, which periodically flies out of the mountings in the upholstery.

Behind the wheel

EXTREMELY SPECIAL ERGONOMICS MEANS A LONG PROCESS OF ADDICTING TO A CAR

A habit from above is given to us

Among Nissan SUVs and crossovers, there is no other car with such specific ergonomics as the Terrano. However, this is not surprising - the car was designed, as you know, by French engineers, who have their own ideas about how the salon should be equipped. They have something to praise for: first of all, attention is drawn to the "command" landing, which allows a person under two meters tall to sit behind the wheel and, moreover, provides good visibility forward.

However, if you understand the details, then there are more than enough reasons for criticizing the inner world of the machine. There is no steering column adjustment for reach, and the front seats with short cushions seem too flat, moreover, the lateral support of the backrests leaves much to be desired - in fast corners it practically does not work. The height adjustment of the driver's seat is awful: in order to raise it, you have to jump, holding onto the steering wheel. Why all these difficulties, pray tell?

You will have to get used to the lack of an armrest between the front seats - it is not even in the accessories catalog. For a car where the driver sits high, the absence of such an element is especially noticeable. However, do not despair: any Renault dealer will be happy to offer you an armrest from Duster, which will perfectly fit into the interior.

To understand and to forgive

Terrano also has such inexplicable shortcomings that you just have to understand and forgive: it is hidden under the lever parking brake a joystick for adjusting the mirrors and seat heating buttons, which are nestled in the narrow crevices between the seat cushions and the door trim.

I must say that driving the Terrano is generally hard to relax. The gear lever has to be wielded in a sweeping manner, because the moves are very large. The clutch pedal is taut and not very informative - fortunately, even the version with an “automatic” does not require unnecessary manipulations. But here, too, the designers managed to screw it up: the drawing depicting the operating modes of the box is located in such a way that it is impossible to immediately determine which one is on at the moment.

The safety of Terrano can be judged by the test results of the Duster. True, the crossover has no reason to be proud: EuroNCAP experts rated the car at a C grade. It is good at least that Isofix standard child seat mountings and a disconnectable frontal airbag on the passenger side are available on all versions without exception.

On the roads and without them

TWO LITERS - IT'S ITSELF FOR ASPHALT AND BEYOND IT

Is it worth saving on the motor?

You should not expect much agility from the base 1.6 engine. And yet it should be noted that this motor spins up without strain, and at high speeds it gives a slightly noticeable pickup. If you opt for the all-wheel drive version, you get a box with six short-cut gears, where the first stage takes on the role of a "downshift". Also note that reverse gear here the usual, therefore, on the off-road, the reserve of traction when driving reverse the car is not enough.

In the optimal Elegance configuration, such a car costs 775 thousand rubles - it is suitable for those who are ready to sacrifice dynamics in favor of 4WD. Most 4WD crossovers are more expensive, though, so buying a Terrano like this might seem attractive. However, the Duster is still more profitable: in version 1.6 4x4 LE Adventure it is more generously equipped, and it costs only 690 thousand rubles.

A car with a 2-liter engine looks much more interesting: according to the passport, it makes a hundred by 3 seconds faster - and the sensations fully confirm this. Longer gears - from third to sixth - allow you to easily maintain cruising 110-120 km / h without tormenting the engine high turnover... And in city traffic, Terrano 2.0 rides more confidently. Finally, the automatic transmission can only be obtained with this motor.

All four wheels

By the way, it is the "two-pedal" Terrano that seems to be the most lively: the engine and transmission have complete mutual understanding here. Unless on the highway you begin to regret that there are only four gears in the ancient “automatic” - a couple more steps would definitely not hurt the box. And so you have to put up with high consumption fuel - an average of 12–12.5 liters per 100 km of track. The "mechanical" modification has a similar appetite. As you can see, efficiency is clearly not the crossover's strong point.

But the energy intensity of the suspension will certainly delight many. The car is harsh only on small irregularities, but large ones swallow without the slightest hint of a suspension breakdown. Only with speed you have to be more careful - especially on the standard all-season Amtel Cruise 4x4. Yes, and I do not want to praise the power steering: the steering wheel is too heavy in the parking lot, and with increasing speed it becomes lighter and loses information content.

The four-wheel drive clutch lock (Lock mode) works up to 80 km / h. Compared to Qashqai, in which the action of such a mode is limited to a speed of 40 km / h, this gives a noticeable advantage: slippery road you can ride more confidently - the Terrano will row with all four wheels. The locked clutch works well in conjunction with ESP and in diagonal hoisting, allowing you to keep driving even in seemingly hopeless situations. We must pay tribute, outside of the asphalt Nissan generally feels very at ease, which is not expected from an inexpensive crossover.

Outcome

Terrano fit well into the friendly Nissan family, but against the background of other crossovers Japanese brand it stands out not only for its moderate price, but also for its simple interior with very specific ergonomics. He could be forgiven for these shortcomings, especially since the car has good cross-country ability and energy-intensive suspension. However, while Duster is being sold in Russia, it will be extremely difficult for the newly-made Terrano to attract the attention of a person who knows how to count money.

It would seem that the new Terrano is good for everyone: the name is well-known, and the name is rich in off-road history, and the form factor is in demand - crossovers are in vogue today. And even the price is quite attractive! However, against the background of the entire lineup of the Japanese brand, the new car looks slightly alien - as if he was not his own son, but an adopted one.

Japanese representative of the compact class Nissan SUVs Terrano is not new to the market at all. The model is well known to motorists and has gone through more than one restyling. But, despite the fame and popularity, many are wondering about? Indeed, from the assembly line of which plant does such a crossover roll out?

Today the car is produced in three countries - Russia, Spain and India. Products are sold mainly in the domestic markets of states. Although, some are still exported. But first things first.

Last year, in 2013, the Japanese concern entered into an agreement with the Russian machine-building plant Avtoframos on the production of Terrano. Today, this site is wholly owned by Nissan's French partner, Renault.

Once on the territory of this enterprise, the legendary "Muscovites" were produced. The production of the crossover successfully started last fall, and the first copies Russian assembly appeared in dealer showrooms in June 2014. The model is presented in four trim levels. Car prices start at 677 thousand rubles. For the luxury equipment of this modification, you will have to pay about 872.7 thousand rubles.

Where, besides Russia, Nissan Terrano is collected

Nissan Terrano models, which were previously purchased by motorists, are manufactured in Spain. European-assembled cars are still present on the Russian market. They are produced at a facility in the vicinity of Barcelona. But, among the owners, these specimens cause a storm of indignation. The European assembly Nissan Terrano is far from the standard of quality. The owners complain about defects in body welding and poor sound insulation. The version of the car from the domestic "Avtoframos" has not yet had time to please or upset connoisseurs of the Japanese brand, since it is just beginning its march with dealerships.

Initially, the Nissan Terrano was intended for the Indian buyer. Accordingly, the assembly of the 2013 model began in this country - in the city of Oragadam. On the same conveyor, Renault Duster is produced (it was it that was improved for the creation of Terrano) and Dacia Duster, which is exported to Great Britain and Ireland. The Japanese brand "chose" India, because other Nissan modifications are already being produced there: Micra, Sunny and Evalia.

Serpukhov, near Moscow, was once an automobile city: C1 and C3D disabled women were made here, and later the local plant, renamed into SeAZ, became one of three sites for the production of Oka. Alas, those times are in the past: latest news on the site of the plant is dated March 2015 and announces the entry into the sale of Chinese motors. I went to the vicinity of Serpukhov to experience on the go new version updated crossover Nissan Terrano.

The new Terrano, that is, the revised Duster, began to be sold with us exactly two years ago - following its debut in the Indian market. Outside India and Russia, these cars are practically unknown: they are made at the Renault-Nissan alliance plant in Oragadam and at the Moscow Avtoframos, which was recently renamed Renault Russia.

In two years, we have already sold 25 thousand Terranos, and in 2015 sales fell less than the market average: from 13.5 to 11.4 thousand cars. True, Duster still sold almost four times better - 44 thousand copies. It is curious that in India the ratio is different: from May of last year to April of this year, 8 thousand Terranos were sold against 18.5 thousand Dasters.

In Terrano with French two-liter engine F4R has accounted for more than two-thirds of sales before. Surely now the share will grow even more: the engine has added 8 hp. (143 hp), and most importantly - it became available with all-wheel drive and "automatic"

However, last year's Duster update only affected Terrano now. Moreover, it did not affect the appearance at all, but otherwise the volume of alterations is similar. The place of the previous K4M engine (1.6 l, 102 hp) was taken by the H4M engine of the same volume with a capacity of 114 hp produced in Togliatti. And the two-liter F4R gasoline unit acquired phase shifters at the inlet: the elasticity improved, and the output increased to 143 hp. and 195 Nm (was 135 HP and 191 Nm). There is still no turbodiesel in the range.

A similar change in equipment: Terrano acquired a new Duster front panel with three instrument wells, a folding trunk shelf instead of the previous curtain, an outboard temperature sensor, automatic mode driver's window, a shade of lighting for the rear passengers and - finally - a gas tank flap, unlocked not with a key, but with a lever from the passenger compartment.

The most noticeable interior innovations are the Duster instrument cluster (alas, with the same odd numbering of the speedometer), other "climatic" knobs and a changed configuration of the keys on the console. Seats differ from Duster by a different distribution of filler and original upholstery

And the most important innovation is the top-version with a two-liter engine, four-wheel drive and automatic transmission, which appeared due to the numerous demands of dealers: its absence was the main absurdity. After all, Duster has one, and more expensive Nissan buyers often chose with automatic transmission: even a front-wheel-drive two-pedal car, which is now excluded from the price lists, accounted for almost a third of sales.

Contrary to fears, the new trunk shelf behaves in an exemplary manner: there is no knocking on any irregularities

Just a new flagship modification was brought near Serpukhov by the organizers of the test drive. Of course, it is difficult to expect revelations from the car: how the "automatic" Renault Duster with all-wheel drive drives is well known since 2014. The geometric cross-country ability of both cars is also almost identical - only the angle of entry of Nissan is slightly less: 26.1 versus 26.8 degrees.

Such a ford is a piece of cake for Terrano. However, those who like to fly into the water on the move had to look for the lost numbers on the rocky bottom.

0 / 0

The organizers did not offer any serious off-road. However, colleagues still managed to plant one of the cars: according to their stories, a couple of meters were not enough to overcome the mud "special stage" on the move, and attempts to crawl out of the rut were unsuccessful - the high moment when starting off only "buried" deeper wheels even with a locked clutch and disabled stabilization system.

For the same reason, my Terrano also had to fold once: a diagonal hanging on a steep slope forced the tires helplessly to scratch the ground. It was possible to climb the climb only on the second attempt, taking acceleration. Fortunately, the energy-intensive Duster suspension allows you not to be especially careful.

The price to pay for this is the roll of the car when cornering. And the four-speed French "automatic" DP8 forces you to carefully calculate overtaking: the two-pedal Terrano accelerates on the track as if from under a stick. But if you don't be quick, then the movement is comfortable, and you can forgive everything for the crossover's behavior on uneven surfaces.

However, some little things are annoying. For example, why was it necessary to leave the horn button at the end of the steering column lever, while Duster's signal has now moved to the hub? Why none of the Terrano trims on the steering wheel has the audio control joystick available for the French twin? Where, finally, is the front armrest?

"Everything will be," sigh the Nissan. But not now, but, most likely, with the next update, which will not happen until next year. Then, by the way, the exterior will also be corrected: judging by the spy photos in the Indian press, noticeable changes await the frontal part - it will look more like the "older" crossovers of the brand.

In the meantime, you have to live with the existing set. And - prices that have grown by 50-70 thousand during the upgrade. Most available nissan Terrano with a 1.6 engine, "mechanics" and front-wheel drive now costs 883 thousand rubles - about 110 thousand more expensive than a similarly equipped Duster with two airbags, an audio system and air conditioning. The all-wheel drive 114-horsepower Terrano is estimated at 977 thousand rubles, version 2.0 with a "handle" costs at least 1 million 40 thousand, and the top version with an “automatic” cannot be bought for less than 1 million 87 thousand rubles. The most expensive crossover made by Tekna with a leather interior, a navigator and a rear-view camera will cost 1,152,000.

Do these numbers resemble anything? A similar price range is expected for newest crossover Renault Kaptur, whose sales will begin in early summer. Apparently, he will begin to take away the main bread from Terrano, because with the technical relationship it looks brighter and more stylish.

However, Renault-Nissan is hardly unaware of the threat of internal cannibalization. So the ways of "divorce" by the alliance of models by niches is perhaps another intrigue of the imminent appearance of Kaptyur.
