The business, started by 3 brothers in France in 1899, turned decades later into a very profitable business Renault is now the 4th largest automaker in the world thanks to its partnership with Nissan in the form of the Renault-Nissan holding company, and today Renault cars are assembled in various parts of the world on different continents. There are Renault assembly plants in Russia, and not even one, because the brand is very popular in our country.

In Russia, Renault is represented by its subsidiary Renault-Russia (known as Avtoframos until 2014), which began operating in our country since 1998. Renault-Russia, therefore, also presents its own car plant, which is in fact a joint venture with the Moscow government. The assembly of several Renault models, most popular among Russians, has been established here. In addition, Renault cars are also assembled at the AvtoVAZ plant - Renault owns 25% of the shares of the largest Russian automaker.

Thus, among the largest car factories where Renault is produced and assembled, the following should be highlighted:

  • The Romanian plant produces cars mainly for the entire European market. Romanian Renault cars can also be found in Russia.
  • AvtoVAZ - cars for Russia are assembled here.
  • Automobile plant "Renault-Russia" near Moscow - assembly of most Renault models is established here, and this is the largest supplier finished machines in Russia
  • Automobile plant in Brazil - from here the cars of the brand do not reach Russia.
  • Indian Automobile Plant - Renault is produced here for the domestic market, as well as for a small number of countries in Asia and Africa.

So, now let's find out where Renault cars are assembled directly by model.

Where is Renault Logan assembled?

The most popular Renault car model in Russia, Logan, has won this status, largely due to its cheapness and overall price / quality ratio as an excellent alternative. Inexpensive price on Renault logan, in turn, is a consequence of the almost full cycle Russian assembly models at two car factories at once: at the Renault-Russia plant near Moscow and at AvtoVAZ.

As for the build quality and which assembly of Renault Logan is better, this question is widely open - only Logans of the 2014 generation are assembled at AvtoVAZ, and in Moscow the model is assembled much longer. In addition, the assembly cycle is deeper precisely in Moscow - only panels and assemblies come here, and welding, assembly, and painting are already produced in Russia. However, despite such a difference in the assembly processes, the drawbacks of both assemblies are practically the same: squeaks and uneven gaps between body parts, although such drawbacks manifest themselves, of course, not on all Logan cars.

Where is Renault Sandero assembled?

Another well-selling car in Russia is Renault Sandero and his "older brother" - Sandero Stepway, began to be sold in our country in 2009; and immediately assembled in Russia. At the Avtoframos plant, now Renault-Russia near Moscow, an almost complete cycle of assembly of Renault Sandero cars has been established.

Where is Renault Duster assembled?

And here is the most popular and one of the most inexpensive (perhaps the most inexpensive among non-Chinese crossovers and not Russian production) crossover and the best-selling Renault SUV not only in Russia, but all over the world. No wonder the car is assembled at all major Renault car factories, including factories in India, Brazil, India and others.

In Russia, Renault Duster is assembled at the same Renault-Russia plant near Moscow. Its conveyors are designed to produce more than 150 thousand cars per year, fully meeting the demand for the model in our country and even the neighboring countries.

Where is Renault Megane assembled?

The oldest model of the company, Megan, has been satisfying car enthusiasts in our country since 1996, when the car replaced the outdated Renault 19. Since then, the car has gone through three generations and even more restyling, and wherever this model was not going! But let's start in order.

The first generation of Megan was a "purebred" French - the car for Russia was assembled at the Douai automobile plant in the north of France. In addition, for some other markets, the first generation of Renault Meganes was also produced in the Spanish city of Palencia. And since 2002, the second generation of the car has seen the light. At first, the car was produced simultaneously in three countries: a sedan in Turkey, a station wagon in Spain, and hatchbacks are still in France, but then, after the redesign, Renault cars were assembled in Turkey - at the Oyak-Renault car plant in the city of Bursa. From that moment until 2011, Megan was supplied to Russia, assembled in Turkey. The third generation was also assembled in Turkey and for some time in Russia - from 2012 to 2013 - at the Avtoframos plant. And, starting in 2014, after the third generation restyling, Megan again began to gather in Russia near Moscow.

Where is Renault Fluence assembled?

One of the youngest models on the Russian market and in the whole world, Renault Fluence, first saw the light of day in 2009, but the Russians first got acquainted with the model in 2010, when its production was established at the car plant, which was then called Avtoframos "(now Renault-Russia). In addition, almost simultaneously with the sales of Russian-assembled Fluence, cars began to be imported to Russia and from Turkey, where they were assembled at the Oyak-Renault automobile plant. And in 2013, after restyling, Fluence for Russia is also assembled in South Korea at the Renault plant.

Renault is known all over the world, the French automobile company has been known for over a century. Throughout its history, it managed to go through a lot, including wars and the post-war crisis, and today Renault Group is the largest auto giant, whose cars are supplied to more than 200 countries. Thanks to a mutually beneficial alliance with Nissan, the corporation ranks fourth in the world in car production.

The country of manufacture of Renault cars is France, while the scale of production in the last century went far beyond the borders of the homeland. Reliability combined with an affordable price and continuous improvement are the main components of Renault's success; these principles have been adhered to in the company since its inception.

Origins

The birth and successful development of the brand is due to Louis Renault, who founded the Renault Freres company back in 1898 with his brothers. Already after two years of the company's existence, production volumes increased so much that it was necessary to attract more production lines to the assembly, then an agreement was concluded with a Belgian plant, which began to assemble french cars... In addition to the production of serial cars, Renault was also engaged in the creation of sports cars that took part in races and brought many victories. The constant development of the company and compliance with the needs of the consumer of that time allowed it to stay afloat during the First World War. A Renault Taxi La Marne model taxi was even erected a monument for the prompt transportation of soldiers to the Marne River in 1914, thanks to which the French were able to win and prevent the German troops from taking over the capital. In addition, for the army, Renault Freres produced aircraft engines and ships, a tank was also designed.

Renault has shown the world no iconic car and each of them has its own history. By 1929, the automobile brand was represented in 49 states, which was considered a huge achievement at that time.

The Second World War caused serious damage to Renault Freres - as a result of hostilities, several factories were destroyed, Louis Renault himself was accused of assisting the Nazis and arrested, in October 1944 he died. After the war in 1945, the company was nationalized by the French government and renamed Renault. The factories were reconstructed, and Renault cars continued to improve and conquer countries in different parts of the world, receiving numerous awards and universal recognition.

Today, the products of the Renault automobile corporation are very popular, including in Russia, where the production of cars of this brand is actively underway. The cooperation of the Renault Brothers with the Russian Empire marked the beginning of a long friendship that continued throughout Renault's history, in spite of state reforms and the change of power in the company.

Two-door concept car under the brand Renault fluence was first demonstrated in June 2004 at the English festival "Louis Vuitton Classic", three months later, the car, developed by the design studio Patrick le Quiman, was shown at the international auto show in Paris. It is curious that the serial production The concept arrived in 2008, but under the name Renault Laguna Coupe.

In parallel, Renault's international engineering team was finishing work on a spacious 5-seater 4-door compact sedan.

Where Renault cars are made for Russia and other countries

It was this model that received the serial name. Renault Fluence, which means "smooth, confident moving in dense traffic." Car release Renault The fluence began in 2009 with the Turkish subsidiary Oyak-Renault in Bursa and the Korean subsidiary Renault Samsung Motors in Busan. Moreover, in Korea, the model is sold under the name Samsung SM3 II, and the first generation of Samsung SM3 I in the European market was sold under the Nissan brand. Almera classic... Slightly modified, equipped with state-of-the-art radio communication and video surveillance systems, the Korean Fluence - Samsung SM3 II Patrol Car5 with a 1.6-liter 16-valve 110 hp gasoline engine and a 5-speed manual transmission became official car South Korean police. V 2010 year production Renault Fluence began at the Russian plant near Moscow Avtoframos.

After years of sluggish sales Renault Megane II in the European market, in the concern Renault it was decided to suspend development of the successor to the Renault Megane III and replace the model with an aesthetically completely different model. The project team was tasked with creating a vehicle designed primarily for emerging markets, combining affordable price and recent achievements automotive industry. As a result, in 2009 at the Frankfurt international motor show presented new car Renault Fluence, put on the C platform, like the Megane II, has a 6cm longer wheelbase from the Megane Estate III and trimmed inside, like the Nissan Sentra and Megane III, but with traditional, instead of digital, instrument panel indicators.

The confusion with the predecessor-successors-clones of Renault Fluence arises in connection with the strategy of global unification practiced by the French automobile concern. From a technical point of view, Renault Fluence is built on the basis of the automotive platform used in the production of front-wheel drive, compact cars of the "C" segment - Renault-Nissan C, and in terms of chassis / chassis it almost completely repeats the Renault Megane II. External RenaultFluence review instantly reveals a "hodgepodge" of design elements and technological solutions of the Megan II / III and the Japanese compact van Nissan Sentra.

There are two modifications in the Fluence range. Electric car Renault Fluence Z.E. was presented simultaneously with base model in Frankfurt in 2009. The environmentally friendly Fluence car is a triumph for the French concern. It became the first commercially successful electric vehicle. For the "green" Renault Fluence, the price ranges from € 17,500 to € 27,500, depending on the configuration and the presence of a pre-installed lithium-ion battery.

Like many other families, Renault Fluence has a sports version with all the necessary bells and whistles - linings, spoilers, diffusers in rear bumper, deep sport bucket seats, hefty 17-inch wheels, shiny chrome trims for the body and interior. The sports version is equipped with a 1.5-liter DCI903 diesel engine. The modification was shown at various world auto shows, but never went on the free sale.

In some markets (China, the Persian Gulf, Latin America) Renault Fluence is produced, which differs from the original version with a "muzzle" copying the restyled Clio Campus model.

At the time of its appearance on the market, the Renault Fluence car was equipped with an order of magnitude higher than all cars of a similar class. The owner received a unique contactless launch and access card, a state-of-the-art multimedia system with wireless connectivity and a digital connector. Audio systems like 3D Sound byArkamys with Plug & Music function still cannot be boasted by many representatives of the elite car families.

In 2012, Renault Fluence underwent a facelift. The updated sedan received xenon headlights, a revised face, a different shape of bumpers and a radiator grille. Salon Renault Fluence "has risen in price" due to new, very effective finishing materials and a slightly redesigned dashboard with an electronic digital speedometer. Instead of the usual "handbrake", the restyled Renault Fluence has got an automatic parking brake.

Renault Fluence trim levels offer eight standard build options. The basic "naked" AUTHENTIQUE equipment is equipped only with a 106-horsepower 1.6-liter gasoline engine complete with a 5-speed "mechanics". More expensive configurations Fluence CONFORT and EXPRESSION suggest a choice of a 1.6-liter or 2.0-liter engine and a 6-speed V-belt CVT variator(Continuously Variable Transmission). The most expensive DYNAMIQUE assembly has cruise control, parking sensors, AFU emergency braking system with electronic EBD distributor.

The price of Reno Fluence, depending on the configuration, starts from the amount of about 625 thousand rubles for the minimum AUTHENTIQUE assembly. For Renault Fluence, the price in the CONFORT version is from 663.5 thousand rubles. The cost of Renault Fluence in the EXPRESSION package is at least 670 thousand rubles. The maximum assembly DYNAMIQUE costs from 776.5 thousand rubles and more.

Renault Fluence is a French car produced by the Renault-Nissan alliance. This model presented on our market not so long ago (since 2010), but has already become very popular among domestic motorists. There are several reasons for this - low cost (the price tag for a car is not much higher than that of the same Logan), good equipment, spacious salon, presentable appearance. But there are motorists who are suspicious of French cars, considering them not reliable enough. Therefore, today I decided to find out how things are with the reliability of this bestseller and what to look for when buying a used Fluence on the secondary market.

A bit of history:

Renault Fluence was first presented in 2004 at the Louis Vuitton Classic Automobile Festival in England, and then at the Paris Auto Show. It was a coupe show piece that was created by designer Patrick le Quiman, world famous as the creator of the Ford Sierra. The development of the serial version of the car was carried out by a group of French designers, led by Shamir Sherfan. The premiere of the production model of Fluence took place in 2009 at the Frankfurt Auto Show, but official sales did not start until 2010. New sedan, was built on the same platform with Renault Megan 3, the front chassis was borrowed from this model, but the rear was taken from the Nissan Center. The assembly was carried out by the Oyak-Renault plant in the Turkish city of Bursa, and Renault Megan 2 (sedan) was also produced there. V lineup Renault, Fluence replaced the second-generation Megan sedan.

In 2012, Renault Fluence underwent restyling, during which the car received updated design corresponding to the corporate style of the Renault company. Debut updated version car took place at the Istanbul Auto Show. The main changes took place at the front of the car - a large corporate logo and new front optics appeared. There were also changes in the trim levels - they began to install xenon headlights, a multimedia system, a USB port in the audio system and standard running lights... In Russia, the assembly of the updated version of the car began in April 2013 at the Renault-Russia plant (Avtoframos). Another facelift took place in 2015. This time, the changes affected the rear of the car - the rear became available diode lights and stoplights. Today it is known that the Renault-Nissan alliance is in the final stages of development of the second generation Renault Fluence. Unofficial sources claim that the sedan is based on the fourth generation Megan.

Weaknesses and disadvantages of Renault Fluence with mileage

The paintwork of the car is moderately soft and holds up well, with the exception of the plastic elements of the body. So, for example, varnish with front bumper could start to slide after a couple of years of operation. Things are not much better with chrome elements (the corporate emblem, the lower grille lining and PTF linings) - after a couple of winters they become cloudy, and then they begin to climb. Over time, in the places of contact of the seals with the body, the paint is erased to metal. This problem is unpleasant, but not critical - it is eliminated by pasting problem areas protective film (how to do it yourself I wrote in the article).

Over the years, problems may arise with the corrosion resistance of the body, especially if the car is operated in a metropolis, where I generously sprinkle the roads with chemicals in winter. Despite this, it is impossible to say that the car body rots badly, and no one has ever considered it to be problematic. The mushrooms appear most quickly on the side skirts, wheel arches and the hood. Also in the risk zone is a niche under the windshield, bottom hinges, side members, the joint of side members and the engine shield (these places are not galvanized).

Of the other troubles of Renault Fluence, one can note the unreliability of the end switches of the locks and the subsidence of the hinges rear doors and trunk. Over time, the door locks begin to creak (eliminated by grease), and by 60-80 thousand km the rollers in the door opening stops are erased (clicks appear). If, while driving, an unpleasant ringing is heard in the passenger compartment, check the condition of the aluminum underbody protection, it often bends and knocks on the muffler. Windshield sensitive to temperature changes (it may burst), therefore, in severe frosts, it is not recommended to turn on the glass heating until the interior warms up at least a little. If the car is equipped with a rain sensor, then when replacing the glass, it is advisable to buy a new sensor, since after replacement, air bubbles may appear under the lens.

Power units

Renault Fluence has a wide range of gasoline and diesel engines with good dynamics and efficiency: gasoline - 1.6 (106 and 116 hp), 2.0 (138 and 143); diesel - 1.5 (86, 105 and 110 hp). Engine 1.6 ( K4M) is well known to fans of the brand for the models Logan, Clio and Megan. The most common problem that owners face is phase regulator failure. As a rule, the ailment manifests itself after 120,000 km of run, therefore it is recommended to change the phase regulator with every second timing belt replacement. In the initial stage, the disease manifests itself with a characteristic crackle. If the problem is not eliminated, traction will deteriorate in the future, and engine interruptions are also possible. A feature of this motor is a difficult start after a long stay in the cold season. When contacting the service, dealers first of all offer to update the software of the engine control unit, replace the spark plugs and clean the throttle valve. Unfortunately, these procedures do not always help to fix the problem.

Often, starting difficulties are caused by a malfunction of the starter fuse or the solenoid relay, and sometimes the starter itself, as well as the use of low-quality fuel. It is worth mentioning such common troubles as "triple action" and floating speed. In the first case, the culprit may be the ignition coil, injectors and spark plugs, if high mileage you need to check the compression. In the second case, the crankshaft position sensor and the ignition coil are most often to blame. The thermostat on this power unit rarely serves more than 80,000 km, then it starts to leak and wedges. It is not worth tightening with its replacement, as this can lead to mixing of oil with antifreeze. The fuel level sensor is not famous for its reliability either - it changes assembled with the fuel pump.

Despite the fact that the HR16DE-H4M engine (116 hp) is more recent and is equipped with a timing chain drive (depending on the quality of service, the chain with tensioners serves from 120,000 to 200,000 km), it is less reliable. The most unpleasant problem is considered to be oil consumption, which appears on a mileage of 120-150 thousand km. In addition, in severe frosts, the engine has problems with starting and can stall at idle (most likely, the ignition unit must be replaced). Experienced car owners with such an engine have already gotten used to this problem - they change the candles more often, and during start-up they work with the gas pedal, this slightly improves the situation, but, in general, this is an unpleasant feature of the engine. Of less significant troubles, a relatively small resource of engine mounts can be noted (vibrations appear) and burnout of the exhaust pipe ring.

A two-liter engine is more common on popular Nissan cars (Teana, Qashqai,) than on Renault. Of the common malfunctions of this engine, it can be noted: increased consumption oils - most often the problem is caused by a large amount of carbon deposits in the cylinders or severe wear oil scraper rings... A small resource of the timing chain, when it is stretched, dips appear with sharp acceleration, dynamics deteriorates, they float idle speed... Often annoying to owners and unstable idling- eliminated by cleaning throttle... Over time, the generator belt begins to whistle, if there is no time to replace the belt, you can try to tighten it.

Of the less common malfunctions, it is worth noting the problem of cylinder head cracking. If cracks have already appeared on the block, it is important, when changing the candles, not to apply a lot of effort when tightening, otherwise the cracks will go along the thread, the engine will start to triple and the disease will progress. If there is a problem in the spark plug well (usually in the first one), a lot of antifreeze accumulates. Treatment - replacement of the block head. In general, this motor can be safely called reliable, the declared resource is 300-350 thousand km of run.

Diesel power units Renault Fluence

Diesel engines look preferable to gasoline units in terms of fuel consumption, however, the high cost of maintenance and capricious fuel dCi system make these engines not much more economical than gasoline ones. Of the main disadvantages, it can be noted that there is a high probability of failure of injectors on a mileage of 70-100 thousand km (the worse the quality of the fuel used, the less the resource), the elements are especially vulnerable fuel system dephi. If faulty injectors are not replaced for a long time, this can lead to cranking of the piston liners. The turbine is another weak point of these engines, in some instances it became unusable after 60,000 km. Also, it is worth noting the high probability of early failure of the EGR valve and injection pump.

Another problem faced by car owners with diesel engines, this is a small resource of the particulate filter. The cost of a new filter scares even wealthy owners, so many remove it when the first signs of malfunction appear. If the oil is not changed in a timely manner, lengthening the drain intervals, it can turn connecting rod bearings... In fairness, it should be said that most problems are likely only with poor-quality service. Therefore, when purchasing a car with dci, you should change the oil, filters, etc. in time, in general, all that is required, and refuel at proven gas stations.

Transmission

Renault Fluence was equipped with 5 and 6-speed mechanics, a 4-speed automatic transmission and a variator (installed with a two-liter engine and a restyled 1.6). Mechanical transmission in general, reliable, but on some copies of the first years of production, the owners complained about twitching at the time of start after a long movement in a traffic jam. The problem was solved only by replacing the clutch kit. Closer to 80,000 km, attention may be required master cylinder clutch and release bearing... After 100,000 km of run, the bearings begin to make noise, but this does not affect the performance of the transmission in any way. If, with the arrival of cold weather after a long stay, the gearshift lever begins to walk tight, it is necessary to lubricate or replace the cable. The reason is that moisture gets into the casing in which the cable moves and freezes. The clutch takes care of more than 100,000 km.

Automatic transmission is not a very successful unit, and its resource largely depends on driving style and service intervals. The main disadvantage of this type transmissions are jerky and jerky during gear changes. Most often, the culprit for this behavior of the machine is the incorrect operation of the pressure modulation solenoid valve. It is also worth noting the poor design of the valve body. All this is aggravated by overheating (there are no overheating sensors) and a rigid setting for blocking the GTR.

The variator (Jatco) in terms of reliability looks preferable to the classic automatic transmission, but, despite this, it cannot be called problem-free. So, for example, under heavy loads (racing on a cold, prolonged movement on maximum speed etc.) there is a high probability of early failure of the transmission due to damage to the cones and the chain. With low mileage (up to 100,000 km) on low revs(up to 1500), the variator may begin to creak, rattle, this is due to the sagging of the belt. To fix the problem, you need to update the software of the transmission control unit. Also, on a run up to 100,000 km, they may fail. pressure reducing valve CVT pump (jerks appear), planetary sun gear and bearings. With careful operation and timely maintenance (50-60 thousand km), the variator can last more than 200,000 km without costly repairs.

Resource chassis, steering and brakes Renault Fluence

Renault Fluence is equipped with a semi-independent suspension: in front - MacPherson strut, in the back - a twisted beam. As for the reliability of the suspension, in general it has proven itself on the positive side, but with the arrival of cold weather it can bother you with extraneous squeaks and knocks. Vehicles assembled in Turkey have a small clearance of 125 mm if ground clearance plays an important role for you, you can eliminate the defect by installing racks from Renault Laguna with increased ground clearance. If you do not take into account the struts and stabilizer bushings (on average, they serve 30-50 thousand km), then the first repair of the suspension will have to be done no earlier than 80-100 thousand km. The main weak point of the suspension is the shock absorber boot - it can begin to delaminate after 30,000 km. The problem is solved by installing anthers from the VAZ 2110 and bumpers from the VAZ 2108. With the timely elimination of this defect, the shock absorbers will last at least 80,000 km. For neat drivers, the replacement of racks is carried out at a mileage of 120-150 thousand km.

Ball joints, silent blocks of levers and other rubber bands, as a rule, change after 90-100 thousand km. In the steering system, the first problems appear closer to 150,000 km - the rack begins to knock. It is also possible the appearance of extraneous knocks due to problems in the spline connection (gives to the steering wheel while driving on an uneven road). Brake system has one interesting feature - the rear hubs are made at the same time as the brake discs, fortunately, the resource of these parts is not very different (120-150 thousand km). In cars with a two-liter engine, due to an unsuccessful location, the vacuum hose valve may freeze, as a result, the pedal becomes tight or may not be pressed at all. To protect yourself from possible troubles, it is recommended to put an additional casing on the hose.

Salon and electrical

Despite the low cost of the car, the quality of the finishing materials does not raise any questions. The only thing that can be criticized a little is leatherette, from which the steering wheel braid and seat upholstery is made - it quickly loses its presentation, and cracks appear on the sidewalls of the seats over time. As for acoustic comfort, the interior seems quiet compared to classmates. Over the years, the silence can be disturbed by the head restraints of the front seats, the armrest and the trim in the area of \ u200b \ u200bthe seat belts (a creak appears). In the cold season, many complain of a "freezing" left leg. To eliminate the disadvantage, you need to close the gaps between the air duct pipes.

From weak points Renault Fluence electrical equipment, a small resource of the heater motor can be noted - it starts to make noise by 100,000 km. Repairing a motor is not a cheap pleasure (you need to replace the collector), but buying a new one will cost even more - about 300 bucks. After 3-5 years of operation, the keyless entry range decreases. The reason is that the contacts in the key antenna are oxidized. The outside temperature sensor is also not famous for its reliability. If the sensor is defective, the climate system may not work correctly. There are also malfunctions of the audio system - it spontaneously turns off, resets the settings, turns off the speakers. If the car often bothers with minor glitches in electronic systems, first of all, check if the terminals are well connected to the battery, usually the reason is in them.

Outcome:

It has established itself as a reliable, comfortable and unpretentious car, which, even after 100,000 km, with careful operation, externally and technically, can have a state close to ideal. In fairness, it must be said that the model has a series typical disadvantages but unlike many competitors, they do not require significant capital investment to eliminate them.

If you are the owner of this car model, please describe the problems that you had to face during the operation of the car. Perhaps it is your feedback that will help the readers of our site when choosing a car.

The history of the French company Renault began in 1899, when three brothers decided to open their own workshop. Decades later, the business began to gain serious momentum, and, at the moment, the company ranks fourth in the ranking of the largest automakers. The main reason for this success is close cooperation with the Japanese concern Nissan, and, as a result, the creation of the Renault-Nissan holding.

Today, Renault cars are assembled at factories that are located in many countries of the world.

On the territory of Russia, there are also several branches, which produce French cars. Therefore, it is not surprising that the concern has gained great popularity in our country.

A subsidiary company Renault-Russia, which has been successfully operating since 1998, and, until recently, was called Avtoframos, is responsible for assembling cars in Russia.

Renault-Russia also includes a large enterprise that makes cars directly for Russia. Several models of French cars are produced here at once, which are in greatest demand in the domestic market.

Renault is also assembled at the AvtoVAZ car plant, only 25% of the total production is produced here.

The largest factories where Renault cars are produced are:

  • a Romanian branch, at the facilities of which cars are assembled for the local and European markets. Quite often, Romanian "French" can be seen on Russian roads;
  • domestic AvtoVAZ and Avtoframos, thanks to which Russia is considered a major manufacturing country. The products of these enterprises are supplied to the local market and to the CIS countries;
  • a Brazilian car factory that assembles products for the Latin American market;
  • an Indian car factory that assembles Renault cars for the local market, as well as other countries in Asia and Africa.

No one is surprised by the fact that Renault Logan is the most popular French car in Russia. The whole secret of success is that domestic motorists can get a wonderful, high-quality car for little money.

The low cost of the model is explained by the fact that Logan is produced at two Russian factories, where they use a full-cycle assembly method.

If we touch upon the issue of build quality, it is very difficult to compare two domestic enterprises, because AvtoVAZ produces the 2014 model, and Avtoframos produces the latest Logan modification.

Be that as it may, the products of both factories have quite similar disadvantages: insufficient welding density of body parts and a low level of noise insulation.

Where is Renault Sandero collected

The famous French hatchback Sandero can boast of great popularity not only in Europe but also in Russia.

After the release of the latest version of the model, the demand for cars has grown significantly, therefore, it was decided to assemble the car at domestic facilities.

At the moment, the serial production of Renault Sandero has been established only at Avtoframos, however, due to the high productivity of the enterprise, car market does not feel a shortage of French hatchbacks.

Where Renault Duster is assembled

Photo: Duster assembly in Romania

According to experts, at the moment, Renault Duster is one of the three best crossovers on the world market. Therefore, it is not surprising that the car is in incredibly high demand among domestic motorists.

Renault Duster is the only model of the French company that is assembled at all branches.

For Russian market, the crossover is made at the Moscow Avtoframos, from where the products are supplied to the local market and to the CIS countries. It should be noted that the productivity of this enterprise is 150,000 vehicles per year.
