It also had an 8-cylinder V-arrangement and a distributed fuel injection system, but its displacement increased to 6.2 liters (6162 cm3), which allowed to increase peak power to 393 hp. at 5700 rpm. At the rear, the massive body was supported by an independent five-link coil-spring design, which could optionally be supplemented with an optional self-leveling pneumatic suspension if desired. Ventilated disc brakes were installed on all wheels of the SUV. Besides, brake system H2 was complemented by a 4-channel ABS system, as well as the TCS traction control system. The steering of the jeep was equipped with a hydraulic booster. Hummer H2 got a permanent four-wheel drive Borg Warner with demultiplier and continuous rear axle.

The Hummer H2 was produced from 2002 to 2009. In our country, the assembly of an SUV was launched in 2004 in the city of Kaliningrad.
