Despite the widespread expansion of five-door hatchbacks into the domestic car market, the position of "three-volume" is still strong and they have a large army of potential clients. In which direction should a seeker of a 5-7-year-old car lean towards the practicality of Skoda, or the emotionality of Mitsubishi?

The X was unveiled in January 2007 at the Detroit Auto Show. The appearance of the serial car was preceded by the demonstration of several concept cars, on which the outer forms of a new style for the company were perfected. The cost of making a mistake was high, because to miscalculate the design meant losing a whole mountain of orders. But the designers and marketers were right.

"Japanese" with the in-plant index CY2A has two body types - a sedan and a five-door hatchback. It is interesting that the prefix X in the name is interpreted ambiguously: both as the tenth generation of the model, and as "X", meaning a sharp and expressive style of the car.

The second generation appeared in 2004, the car underwent a serious restyling five years later - in 2008, from which the veil of secrecy was removed at the Paris Auto Show. It is the restyled version that we will consider in our review. The changes affected the design of the front and rear parts of the body, new engines and transmissions, audio systems and security systems appeared. Skoda was produced in five-door liftback and station wagon versions.

Pride - strong bodies

The main difference between the compared cars lies in their external appearance... "Mitsik" has a bright and expressive design, which may not be to everyone's liking, but it certainly will not leave indifferent neighbors downstream. Even today, they pay attention to these cars, and 9 years ago it was just a break in patterns. It is gratifying that there are no complaints about the quality of the metal and paintwork of the "Japanese". Corrosion on used cars can occur only on the edges of the wheel arches, as well as in places affected by minor accidents.

The Octavia is Mitsubishi's design counterpart. Calm features, smooth lines, artificially blown shapes will appeal to older people and those who do not like to stand out. By and large, the body of the "Czech" is also devoid of branded problem areas, in which metal corrosion often occurs. If a 5-year-old car did not get into road trouble, then you should not worry and look for traces of the "red" disease, you simply will not find it.

There is never too much space

Salon "Lancer" is decorated less defiantly than the exterior. The controls are simple and straightforward, the “stuffed” versions boast climate control, a multifunctional steering wheel, etc. The plastic of the dashboard, although hard to the touch, starts to make noise only on cars with a mileage of more than 100 thousand km on our roads. The "Japanese" has a wheelbase of 5 centimeters longer than that of a competitor. And all this difference falls precisely on the usable legroom of the front and rear passengers. Three adult riders will fit in the back without any problems. The luggage compartment volume is 430 liters, which is not much. This value can be increased by folding the backrests of the second row, but the opening between the passenger compartment and the trunk, narrowed by the body amplifier, will interfere with transporting bulky items.

Despite the visual big sizes"Skoda", there is a little less space in the cabin. In the back row of seats, there is enough space for three adults, but the one sitting in the center will be hampered by the impressive size of the central tunnel. Interior materials are of somewhat better quality, so they give up and begin to creak later than the competitor's. A distinctive feature of the car is the impressive size of the trunk. It is 130 liters more than the "Japanese" (560 versus 430 liters), and folding the rear seats we get a loading area that can accommodate 1620 liters of useful luggage.

All motors are different in taste and color.

The engine range of both cars is moderately diverse. Skoda Octavia The A5 was offered with several gasoline engines with a volume of 1.2-2.0 liters with a capacity of 102-200 liters. with. and four diesel engines with a volume of 1.6-2.0 liters (105-170 hp). In principle, all units have proven to be reliable. But employees of official service stations advise choosing an old and well-tested 1.6-liter gasoline unit. Although it does not shine with dynamic performance and fuel economy, it is much cheaper to maintain. The motors can be operated with 5- and 6-speed manual transmissions, as well as 6- and 7-band DSG robotic transmissions.

Mitsubishi Lancer X was supplied to our market only with gasoline engines with a volume of 1.5-2.0 liters with a capacity of 109-154 liters. with. Most engines are devoid of characteristic diseases, except that after 100 thousand km the front crankshaft oil seal may begin to leak. 5-speed "mechanics", 4-speed "automatic" and variator also serve for a long time, but do not like overheating.

Who does the wallet miss?

There is an opinion among motorists that the maintenance of cars of the Volkswagen AG concern, to which the Skoda Octavia belongs, is worth much more than competitors. But the prices for "consumables" and popular components say the opposite, the service of "Japanese" and "German" is about the same cost. Of course we are talking about original details and official service. If you buy spare parts of dubious quality and visit garage masters, then the order of the numbers will be different, but there is no guarantee either.

According to the editorial board, Skoda is more suitable for practical family men who sometimes go to the dacha and wholesale markets for vegetables. Mitsubishi, on the other hand, will appeal to young people, who rarely have anything in the trunk except for a sports bag and a couple of bags from the supermarket, and self-expression is not in the last place. But most importantly, both machines will become faithful companions thanks to their reliable and proven design.

Lancer 10 is a car that has a positive reputation among car owners. It is reliable, safe, economical, modern, but not without its drawbacks.

This is used by competitors, creating cars that can make the buyer refuse to choose Mitsubishi.

These cars also have design flaws that do not allow the Lancer X to be pushed out of the market.

Lancer 10 or Mazda

It is rather difficult to choose a cocoa car between Mitsubishi and Mazda 3. The advantages that Mazda has are:

  • high-quality sound insulation;
  • interior plastic looks more expensive;
  • lack of "crickets";
  • headlight washer;
  • daytime running lights do not require complex activation.

The disadvantages of the Mazda 3 against the background of the Lancer are:

  • too soft material of the buttons, so they remain scratched during operation;
  • worst cornering control;
  • paintwork more prone to damage.

If we compare it with the Mazda 6, then the Lancer is clearly inferior in dynamics and controllability. The disadvantage of the Mazda 6 is too low ground clearance. After installing the crankcase protection, problems with overcoming obstacles on the road are possible.

Lancer X vs Ford Focus comparison

If the car owner has a large appearance, then it is better to refuse to purchase a Ford Focus. The salon is too cramped for people whose height exceeds 180 cm.The car also has a number of minor technical flaws:

  • wipers do not clean the windshield well;
  • condensation forms in the headlights;
  • the quality of the plastic in the pre-styling version is low, so for the absence of "crickets" the choice should be made towards Focus 2;
  • poor visibility in the rear-view mirrors;
  • chafing of the trunk lock electrical wiring.

The choice towards Ford Focus should be made if there is a desire to own a car with diesel engine... It is highly reliable. The rest of the engines have a shorter resource and are very whimsical, although they do not suffer from a masloger like a 1.5 liter engine from Mitsubishi. In general this car designed for measured, city driving.

Mitsubishi Lancer 10 vs Chevrolet Cruze

Chevrolet Cruze has mediocre dynamics, so if the car owner has a desire sport driving, then the choice should be made towards Lancer 10 ralliart with power plants of 2.0 or 2.4 liters.

Also, what the owners need to come to terms with Chevrolet cruze, is a less practical salon. The plastic looks cheaper than the Lancer X. The interior is made in light colors, which causes it to get dirty quickly. The steering wheel is made of leatherette, which causes rapid wear of the coating. In general, with the same service life, the Lancer X interior looks more attractive.

The advantage of the Chevrolet Cruze lies in reliability power plant... All children's problems of the motor have already been solved by the manufacturer, so the engine practically does not cause trouble for the car owner.

Lancer X or Honda Civic

Honda Civic is able to compete with Lancer 10. The car has good dynamic performance. Noise isolation is a level higher than that of Mitsubishi. The engine on the level of reliability corresponds to the 1.8 liter Lancer X engine, which is famous for its long resource.

Civic 8 will help you not to get lost in the traffic. Its design is filled with futurism. Dynamic performance is not inferior to Lancer 10.

The power plant of the Civic 4d is quite reliable, but as on 1.5 liter Mitsubishi engines, when reaching 100 thousand km, coking occurs. Structurally, the power unit is more perfect than the 1.5-liter Lancer 10 engine.

The disadvantage of the Civic is too soft suspension... In corners, rolls occur, and when driving through irregularities, shock absorbers often break through.

Mitsubishi Lancer X and Toyota Corolla

The advantages and disadvantages of Toyota Corolla originate from the manufacturer's innovation policy. Toyota Motor Corporation is constantly striving to make its vehicle as modern as possible. Therefore, design changes are constantly being made during the production process. Among them there are both successful solutions and clearly unsuccessful ones. So, for example, Corolla 150 has a variant with robotic box broadcasts, which turned out to be very problematic.

Choice Toyota Corolla in most cases it is justified, since the car has a number of advantages over the Lancer 10:

  • more reliable electrical;
  • clear work of the manual transmission;
  • a long resource before the start of the masloger, which the 1.5 liter Lancer 10 engine cannot boast of.

Compare Lancer X and Kia Rio

The Kia Rio has a well-assembled interior and a spacious trunk. Noise isolation is performed worse than in Mitsubishi. Lots of uneven seams and uneven paintwork are also noticeable. The handling is worse than that of the Lancer 10. Reliability is also quite far inferior to Mitsubishi.

Mitsubishi Lancer X vs. Hyundai Solaris

Solaris has a six-speed automatic transmission. This allows for virtually jolt-free overclocking. Despite the smaller engine displacement, the volume of which is 1.4 liters, the car proves to be gluttonous, especially in urban conditions, consuming up to 11-11.5 liters per 100 km.

Lancer 10 or Skoda Octavia

Skoda Octavia has a turbocharged version with engine displacement technology in its engine lineup. This allows, depending on the need, to obtain either high efficiency or excellent dynamic performance. For example, the Octavia can accelerate to 100 km / h in 8 seconds.

Inspection Lancer 10 before purchase

What to look for when purchasing a Mitsubishi Lancer X is summarized in the table below.

Node or systemNote
EngineCompression control for 1.5 motors
BodyRust spots are most common in cars manufactured before 2011
Lubrication systemMasloger is typical for 1.5 liter engines. It is possible to squeeze out the lubricant through the oil seals and seals due to the increased pressure of the crankcase gases
TransmissionIt is required to check the oil in the variator and automatic transmission. If there is a burning smell, then it is better to refuse to purchase a car.

Good afternoon, so I decided to write my own review about this car.

Before that I rode everything lineup VAZ, Volga 3102, Lanos. We bought a car in a showroom in 2007. For three years of using the car, only consumables have changed.

What can I tell you about lancer? This is an excellent car in its class in terms of price / quality ratio. For three years I have never failed. Once I drove from Belgorod to St. Petersburg (1500 km), drove in 15 hours. The car behaved perfectly on the road, but because of the "stupid" machine gun you have to predict traffic situation and act for 1-2 seconds. in advance. The seats are good in my opinion, comfortable to sit over long distances. The reviews wrote that bad level tilt of the steering wheel. My height is 192 cm, I sit quietly behind the wheel. Everything suits me.

Strengths:

  • Reliability
  • Permeability for this class

Weak sides:

  • The trunk lid does not close properly (the dealer said that the disease)

Review of Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 (Mitsubishi Lancer) 2007

16.03.2010

Hello!

I bought a car at a time when the queues for these miracles of technology were like in a mausoleum at one time. I asked friends in neighboring Krasnodar and Rostov to periodically run around the salons and report on the presence of anything at all. With all this, I did not want to feel the emotions of the person who buys Ferrari, ordering it in 46.5 months - he took only from what was available.

Strengths:

  • Price quality
  • Controllability
  • Brakes
  • Omnivorous 91-98

Weak sides:

  • Noise isolation
  • Low beam

Review of Mitsubishi Lancer 1.8 (Mitsubishi Lancer) 2008

This is my first own car. When buying, of course, like any woman far from technology, she was guided by the choice appearance... My husband thought about other characteristics (he has Pajero). I had to wait 2 months at an authorized dealer. When I got the car (before that I was driving several times on the occasion), I thought that I was afraid to start. However, unexpectedly for myself from the first time I felt the simplicity in management, the obedience of my Ulanushka. She herself drove her out of the salon, put her on record, went through MOT, her husband was only surprised. Despite the fact that the machine was bought for me this way - to go shopping, go to the dacha, etc. (I work 5 steps from home), I fell in love with her so that not a day passed without her. There is nothing to compare, but she obeys me unquestioningly. I drive it, of course, but it was created for this.

Of course, from expenses - T.O. zero 6.000 with oil change. For 15,000 - 7 thousand.

Overall, I am very satisfied. The back is spacious and comfortable. The trunk opens from the inside, which is also a big plus. Of the shortcomings, probably only poor sound insulation. But after all, each car should have its own small drawback, otherwise one model would have been driving on the roads for a long time - whose name is perfection ........

Strengths:

  • Large, comfortable lounge
  • Frisky, obedient

Weak sides:

  • Noisy

Review of Mitsubishi cedia (Mitsubishi Lancer) 2001

I was looking for an inexpensive right-handed car. The choice was between Lancer, Civic and Corolla (after Lancer I still had a Civic and Corolla anyway). Red Lancer caught in a very good package. It cost 50-70 thousand rubles cheaper than its counterparts due to the fact that the roof was scratched and the varnish came off the right doors. I decided to take it, because my friend, who works in a car service, eliminated these shortcomings for 10 thousand rubles. First of all, I bought good music, rubber mats, changed the oil and filters everywhere and went to the tint.

I liked the car very much. The light beige interior and wood-like inserts made of normal high-quality plastic were soothing. Noise isolation was also at the level. I liked the variator. There are no switchings. Everything happens smoothly: both acceleration and deceleration. And when you switch the box to sport mode and press the gas pedal several times sharply, the lancer's temper simply changes before our eyes. And if you press the pedal to the floor, then the tachometer needle rises to 5 thousand revolutions and does not fall until it reaches maximum speed. By the way, I don’t know how much he has according to his passport. maximum speed, but he laid down the arrow of the speedometer without straining, and this is 180 km / h. In general, the car constantly asked to light it up, just like the BMWs that I later had. Now I call these Lancers economy class bimmer. My Laner kept the road perfectly. Never, nowhere did I throw out any surprises.

The first five thousand passed without problems. The trip to Moscow (2800 km) was also included in the same five thousand km. On the way I realized that it is dangerous to meddle on the right handlebar further than the Krasnodar Territory, because overtaking becomes risky. It's good that we were traveling together. One was driving, the second was looking to see if there was an opportunity to overtake. On the way back, at the entrance to Krasnodar, when braking, a metal grinding suddenly appeared. Yes, so strong that I got scared, I thought that something had fallen off. It turned out that the pads were either worn out, or crumbled. The next day I went and bought new ones for 1000 rubles. Changed in 5 minutes. I began to leave the service, but there are no brakes. I almost hit a parked car. They drove back. Everything is fine. And the brakes do not appear. They took everything apart and put it back together, but their relatives are still gone and gone. Nobody could understand what was the reason. And my mood began to deteriorate, because the next day was a trip to Sochi. And then out of nowhere appeared an elderly uncle on the same Lancer. It was he who revealed the secret. The pads are not original. And on one side, the plate separating the shoe and the caliper was loosely pressed literally by a millimeter. Therefore, there are no these very brakes. With him, he says, exactly the same. In general, the masters stuffed something there and I drove on as if nothing had happened. I don’t know how this millimeter played on the brakes, but the next time I bought normal pads for 3000, this problem was gone. And those wretched ones for a thousand have exhausted themselves after 4 thousand kilometers. After another couple of thousand, the light went out. Burnt out. I changed the lamps and everything returned to normal.

First, the most difficult part. Namely about the design. There is no objective assessment of this quality of the car. But there are statistics. And it is such that seven out of ten people think Lancer sportback more beautiful than Skoda Octavia. And what does it mean? Nothing at all. Because even if 99 out of 100 people find "The Best Film 2" an interesting picture, then it does not follow at all that it needs to be urgently entered into the golden fund of world cinema. Moreover, mass culture, to the products of which, of course, can be attributed to cars middle class, contains a lot of vulgar, but few things really outstanding. This is also statistics. And on its basis, one can in no way conclude that the Mitsubishi Lancer is vulgarity, and the Skoda Octavia is an outstanding thing. The converse statement is also invalid. I just want to once again emphasize the conventionality and bias of the aesthetic perception of things. Obviously, for many people, car design is the main and sometimes even the only criterion when buying. If you consider yourself to be such people, then no, even the most thorough comparative test between the Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback and the Skoda Octavia, you don't need to read, it will only irritate you.

The statistical attractiveness of the Japanese hatchback, nevertheless, leaves its mark on the pragmatic world of dry numbers: the car is noticeable, that is, more stolen, that is, a comprehensive insurance policy is more expensive for it than for a Skoda Octavia. Mitsubishi has more burdensome maintenance costs, but the design, of course, has nothing to do with it - just such prices, and the future owner of Lancer will have to put up with them.

The cost and equipment of the rivals are very close, but Skoda takes on variety. And although the range of power units for Russian market after restyling the model was greatly reduced, the list additional equipment it has not become smaller, and you can still find a lot of interesting things there - for example, ESP, which is not available for Mitsubishi Lancer in Russia in principle. Lancer is sold with us in fixed configurations, and the hatchback has one single 1.8-liter engine (143 hp), in a pair of which you can choose either a 5-speed "mechanics" or a variator. We got a version with a CVT, and it would be good for it to find an Octavia with the latest 1.4-liter supercharged engine (122 hp) and a 7-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches as a rival, but such a car at the time of preparation of the material in there was no press park for Skoda, so it was necessary to be content with a version with a 6-speed "mechanics". However, looking ahead, let's say that we didn't have to regret it.

In the town

An elegant plastic body kit along the lower perimeter of the body, combined with a small ground clearance, forces the owner of the Lancer Sportback to carefully choose a parking place so as not to damage the "fashionable dress" on the curb. Abrasions on the body of the test car eloquently indicate that sometimes there is simply nothing to choose from, and you have to park as it is, that is, overlap with the sidewalk with all the ensuing consequences. Poor visibility from the driver's seat, caused by an uncomfortable low seating position (more on this in the section "Ergonomics and comfort"), and the lack of a parking radar, also does not contribute to an adequate choice.

Traction capabilities power unit Mitsubishi is more than enough for city driving: the variator settings allow for instant overtaking at any speed. The suspension perfectly dampens the microrelief of the roadway, but thunders on large potholes and tram tracks.

The energy intensity of the Skoda Octavia suspension is an order of magnitude better and allows the driver not to stand on ceremony either with paving stones or with speed bumps. Parking in a Czech car is also much easier: the high ground clearance makes it possible to drive onto a curb or a small snowdrift without harm to the body. The visibility back is mediocre, but the parking radar helps out - an option for 10,990 rubles.

The engine of the Czech car is slightly weaker in numbers than that of its rival, but in the city it is felt only on steep ramps, and even then, if the engine speed dropped below 1500 rpm, when the compressor turbine is not working at full power. Informative grip and precision gear shifting minimize the kinematic ordeal of the driver in traffic jams, and a comfortable seat with a wide range of settings eliminates back fatigue even after standing in hours of traffic jams. In short, urban use is less of a hassle for the Octavia owner, which is why the Czech car wins this round.

Outside the city

On highways with good tarmac, the Lancer Sportback is great, and the ride feels like flying in a luxury coupe in the Gran Turismo class - just as smoothly and just as fast. The engine pleases with instant responses to the gas pedal, and the variator with an unbroken stream of heady acceleration. The paddles in pure titanium are a birthright rudiment. With their help, you can choose seven fixed gears generated by the variator, but this does not give anything but unnecessary fuss and violence over the essence of the continuously variable transmission - just another tribute to fashion and a funny spill-glass for those who like to play as a racing pilot on public roads.

On bad asphalt (and by spring, say, in Moscow and Moscow Region, for some reason, almost all the asphalt inevitably turns out to be bad), driving in the Lancer Sportback becomes rather nervous: the car is not very willing to keep straight and shudders all over at the joints and potholes. On the other hand, you should forget about the primer immediately and forever - the low protrusions of the elegant aerodynamic body kit of the "Japanese" are not compatible with the Russian country road.

Skoda Octavia is more tolerant of the uncovered Mother Earth, her ground clearance other crossovers will envy. Skoda is also good on asphalt, and it is completely insensitive to its quality and pleases with good smoothness and directional stability both on the licked Rublevskoye highway and on the chipped backyards of Mytishchi near Moscow.

1.4-liter supercharged engine with skillful use of six gears mechanical box shows excellent agility, allowing you to easily overtake trains of grimy trucks. You can go on a long journey in such a car without fear, but it is better to limit the travel area of the Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback to roads of more or less decent quality.

Controllability

Those who closely follow the Mitsubishi Lancer test battles in the automotive press probably know that the sedan version has caused a lot of complaints from experts in terms of handling. The hatchback, according to representatives of Mitsubishi, the chassis settings are slightly different from the sedan in better side... I didn't drive a sedan, but the hatchback seemed to me indeed a very obedient car. Some complaints, and even then not every driver can cause unless too easy and not informative enough steering... In combination with excellent sharpness and accuracy, it makes driving at high speed too nervous, but, say, almost everyone lives with such a steering wheel. BMW owners and don't complain. Feels like the handling of the Lancer Sportback is generally very close to thoroughbred German cars, which probably only benefits its image. But what does not exactly strengthen its reputation is the mysterious, inexplicable lack of ESP in the cars of the Russian specification. But the brakes are good - quite informative and do not require a lot of effort on the pedals, even in emergency modes.

Skoda has no problem with deceleration either, and the handling is even better in terms of safety. Firstly, ESP can be ordered for any configuration, and secondly, the VW Golf chassis, on which the Octavia is built, is rightly considered the standard of handling. front wheel drive car... The heavy steering wheel provides excellent informational content, the reactions are accurate and predictable so much that the gambling driver becomes bored behind the wheel of the Octavia - everything is too good and correct. The Lancer Sportback is more interesting, albeit more nervous, and we would gladly give our competitors equally high marks for handling, if not for the lack of a stabilization system in the Japanese car. The position of the GZR on this issue remains unchanged: the buyer modern car should at least be able to order an ESP capable of saving his life in an extreme situation, so the Mitsubishi Lancer lost again.

Ergonomics and comfort

At the Mitsubishi dealership, I was told about a strange feature of all its models: none of steering column not adjustable by departure. I didn't ride at all Mitsubishi models, but with regard to the Lancer, I can confidently say that this ridiculous flaw seriously complicates the driver's life: three people from the test department of our newspaper could not find a comfortable fit behind the wheel. True, all three are supporters of the correct, academic landing, which requires that the back of the chair be almost vertical. It is impossible to sit in the Lancer because of the lack of steering column adjustment for reach and the narrow range of seat settings - after an hour's drive, the lower back begins to ache and the knees become numb. But lovers of a sofa drive, when the seat cushion is almost on the ground, the back is tilted back, and the top of the steering wheel is at forehead height, will be pleased. It's a pity that Mitsubishi developers encourage such an unsafe (poor visibility, increased risk of diving under the seat belt in a collision) driving position.

The requirements for landing in the back seat are less stringent, here, first of all, the reserve of space in all directions is important, and the Lancer Sportback has it - on long trips, two people here will not languish from crampedness, but it is better to leave the third at home. The noise level at high speed is moderate, the acoustic picture is dominated by aerodynamic noises and creaking of interior parts when hitting potholes and debris lying on the road.

Skoda Octavia is a little quieter, but not because of better aerodynamics, but because of a better build of the cabin. Despite the smaller wheelbase, the Czech car's rear seat legroom is even greater than that of its rival. The driver, especially the one who got into the Octavia from the Lancer, skates like cheese in oil: the steering and seat adjustment ranges are huge - you can find a comfortable fit in a matter of moments, and the seat itself with developed lateral support better distributes the load on the body.

It is gratifying that both Lancer and Octavia are equipped with audio systems of sufficient quality for this class of cars with quite a decent sound and a good headroom. But in terms of the sum of impressions of the quality of life on board, Skoda again takes the lead. On her side is exemplary ergonomics, while the Lancer literally fetters the driver hand and foot.

Practicality

The strong point of hatchbacks has always been considered to be better than sedans in cargo transportation capabilities. However, if the hatchback has a deliberately sporty accent, as in the case of the Lancer Sportback, then very few people are seriously interested in its talent to transform into a grocery string bag. Therefore, it is not at all surprising that the trunk of the Sportback version is not very large by the standards of the class, with a volume of only 288 VDA-liters. Its shape, however, is close to ideal and is devoid of protrusions that interfere with the loading of things. By folding the backrest of the rear seat in whole or in part, the usable area can be significantly increased, and this is done, as they say, in one touch - the corresponding handles are brought out to the edge of the tailgate.

To fold backseat Skoda is not so convenient: you have to open rear doors to release the latches on the upper backrest. But the trunk itself in the Octavia is almost twice as large - 560 VDA-liters. More in Skoda salon and places for little things, which together gives the "Czech" a slight advantage over the rival in terms of practicality.

Outcomes

So what? TKO? Defeat? Skoda is better Mitsubishi?

If you make a choice between these hatchbacks with your mind, not your heart, then, of course, Octavia is better, and on all counts.

How so? And why?

But because I love beautiful things. And also because the car for me is not an essential item. I do not drive a car every day, I like to walk a lot, so some of Mitsubishi's shortcomings, which are so annoying in everyday use, do not bother me much. I'm not going to ride it every day. Not on him, not on any other car. Therefore, I can forgive a lot if I really like the car. Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback is one of those.
