If you carefully study the "burzhunet" and foreign auto catalogs, you can be convinced that the car "Nissan Almera Classic", well known in Russia, neither in Europe, nor in Asia, the model "Nissan Almera Classic" simply "does not exist" ... but there is a very similar on it Samsung SM3.

On Russian market car nissan Almera Classic, produced by the South Korean plant of the Renault-Nissan alliance, appeared in mid-spring 2006. Sedan Nissan Almera Classic is designed to gradually replace the basic configuration Nissan Almera "Comfort".

Despite the fact that the Nissan Almera Classic is positioned as a budget car (in general, it is such), its appearance is quite even "not budgetary", which immediately distinguishes it favorably from many competitors. Thoroughbred long nose Nissan Almera Classic, its noble color… the purity of which is not disturbed by moldings, door handles or… bumpers (;)). Direction indicators of an original form and a graceful break in the trunk lid ... even the old familiar "Almera" is somehow guessed.

But to be objective, this is not Nissan at all, and not Almera. This car is produced by a plant in Busan, and this plant produces a car under the Samsung brand and this model is called shortly - SM3 (this particular car is sold to South Korea under the name Samsung SM3). The marketers just rightly assumed that the "Samsung car" would not be appreciated in Russia and decided to sell it as a Nissan Almera Classic.
This situation is not "know-how" at all. For example, the well-known Logan is also not Renault at all - throughout Europe it is known as Dacia. So the popular, but not young Almeria was made more attractive in the same way at no special cost.
In general, the buyer is satisfied and the manufacturer is happy: the price of the Nissan Almera Classic (which is sold only in the Russian market) in 2011 starts from ~ 460 thousand rubles. True, besides the "plus" (in the form of presentable appearance and South Korean origin), the most affordable Nissan Almera Classic also has a significant "minus" - it cannot boast of an air conditioner (mandatory for "foreign cars") or a second pillow security.

Now a little test drive of this "mass car" ... and the mass car should, first of all, not surprise, but drive and carry people. Well, the Nissan Almera Classic drives normally and without any special complaints, but there are already problems with the "people to carry". The fact is that on the example of Almera Classic one can understand how, on average, East Asians differ in height from Russians from the middle lane. A driver taller than 180 cm will want here more than possible to lower the seat, raise the steering wheel, tilt the headrest ... or even better, transfer to the right front seat- since anywhere else it will be tighter. In general, the Nissan Almera Classic, by today's standards, is probably the most cramped salon, recent generations modern cars The C-class is much more spacious.

When driving in city traffic, the Nissan Almera Classic is neither bad nor outstanding ... only its "monumental" hood takes some getting used to. But in the parking lot, Almera Classic pleases with its small turning radius and light steering wheel (from lock to lock a little less than 3 revolutions).
On the track, the Nissan Almera Classic also feels "at home" - even the "automatic" easily gains 120 ~ 130 km / h and does not mind accelerating further! Only a harsh suspension can stop you from further experiments with speed - it diligently transmits the wheels' shot about the unevenness of the road to the body.
In corners, the Nissan Almera Classic behaves confidently and predictably, the brakes (in the version with ABS) work perfectly.
Well, in addition to good dynamics and commendable agility, future owners of this budget car will appreciate the fact that this sedan may well be powered by 92nd gasoline.

Nissan Almera Classic Price in 2011 on the Russian market it starts from 461 thousand rubles for a complete set of PE and reaches 586 thousand rubles for a "top" SE with an "automatic".

Nissan Almera Classic is another one budget car... Even in a new condition, this sedan is not very expensive, and if you pick up a used car in good condition, you can even get by with a very small amount. And one must not forget about the famous Japanese reliability. In theory, this simple car should be quite reliable. And practically? We'll find out now.

The body of the Almera Classic is not subject to corrosion. But to paintwork there is a claim. After 3-4 years of operation, it can come off the handles and moldings, although at the same time it keeps quite firmly on all body elements. There are several complaints about the salon. It does not make a lot of creaks, but it looks too simple. Sometimes you have to deal with the problems of electrical systems. Usually, after a run of 60 thousand kilometers, the immobilizer starts to "glitch". Usually, the owners do it very simply - they remove the terminals from the battery and thereby reboot the car. They say it helps. Also, before buying, do not be too lazy to check the operation of the wipers in all possible modes. They may refuse to work due to broken contact on the mechanism motor.

Only one engine was installed on the Nissan Almera Classic - a 1.6-liter gasoline unit. The gas distribution mechanism of this engine uses a durable chain that can withstand 200 thousand kilometers without problems. But if you change it, then use only a good quality chain. There have already been cases of poor quality chains stretching. Also, be prepared that the engine, after running 140 thousand kilometers, will suddenly start to stall. And all because of the position sensor camshaft... And at the turn of 180 thousand, the car can start poorly to start and upset with failures in traction. I have to change the fuel pump and fuel filter... This usually helps. And most of the owners at the turn of 120 thousand kilometers will have to replace the muffler.

In a gearbox of any type, check the oil level immediately after purchase. It is not excluded that it has not been refilled yet at the plant. In "mechanics", after a run of 100 thousand kilometers, you will have to change the noisy bearing of the secondary shaft. Usually, by the same time, the transmissions begin to turn on indistinctly and with little effort. The clutch will last about 150 thousand kilometers. You can pick up a car with automatic transmission gear changes, but a thorough diagnosis of the entire car is required. But focus on those sedans. That have a low mileage, since the resource of the "machine" is estimated at only 200 thousand kilometers. Although the "automatic" can start to change gears with jerks after 100 thousand kilometers.

Suspension Nissan Almera Classic is very simple, so large financial investments are not expected in it. With a mileage of 100 thousand kilometers, you will need to replace outer CV joint, and the inner CV joint will withstand 180 thousand kilometers without any problems. Front shock absorbers serve about 140 thousand kilometers. Rear shock absorbers surrender faster - for about 100 thousand kilometers. But more often than not, you will have to pay attention to the racks. They may require replacement after 40 thousand kilometers.

In the steering, no big problems are foreseen. The steering rods serve about 160 thousand kilometers, and the steering tips will require replacement when the mileage is 120 thousand kilometers. The very same steering rack will begin to leak and knock only after the car has driven 170 thousand kilometers.

V brake system every 40 thousand kilometers you will have to change the front brake pads. Rear pads can withstand about 100 thousand kilometers. But the brake discs become unusable a little earlier - after about 80 thousand kilometers. Also, be prepared for brake valve wedging, which sometimes happens after 100,000 kilometers.

The famous Japanese reliability has not gone anywhere. The Nissan Almera Classic has problems, but they are not that daunting. And if, before buying, you make a diagnosis of the car and be aware of all possible problems, then you don't have to worry at all. The simplicity of the design has a positive effect on reliability. So the Almera Classic won't let you down at the most inopportune moment.

Despite the fact that the Almera Classic is structurally similar to the English-built Almera sedan, in reality it is the Korean model Samsung SM3, in whose appearance they made minor changes. This car is assembled at the modern Renault Samsung Motor plant according to Nissan technology, but at the heart of the car is a modernized Nissan Bluebird Sylphy sedan of the previous generation (produced in Japan until the end of 2005). New Almera Classic in wheelbase is the same as the English sedan Almera, but a slightly different "front end" has lengthened korean car by 74 mm, giving it a more solid look. The salon of the Korean "Almera" is also noticeably different from the English one.
but basic configuration Almera Classic PE is equipped quite modestly: only the power steering, driver airbag, front power windows, immobilizer and central door locking can be noted. The PE Plus version (in two versions) can be considered optimal for most buyers of cars of this class. Here they install an additional pillow for the front passenger, heated front seats, air conditioning, heated rear-view mirrors, as well as ABS in the brake drive and, instead of the usual 5-speed "mechanics", a hydromechanical 4-speed "automatic" for an additional 27 thousand rubles. However, there is also a drawback here - the lack of height adjustment of the driver's seat cushion. The SE trim is more expensive and, of course, even better equipped. Here you can see the remote opening of the trunk lid, which is rare for cars of this class, the driver's seat with height adjustment of the cushion, the central armrest on back seat with cup holders and trunk access, audio system with CD player, fog lights, etc.

One of the most popular cars in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, in particular in Russia, is the Nissan Almera Classic. Currently, the assembly of cars is carried out by the largest domestic auto concern VAZ.

Model history

Nissan cars are popular all over the world. Their production was established not only in the Land of the Rising Sun, but also in many other states. In 2002, the production of the sedan started in South Korea. The model had slightly changed, in comparison with the "original", the appearance and the name Samsung SM3. 2005 brought a change in design, and in 2006 the car began to be sold in the domestic market, as well as in Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

At the time of release, an engine was installed on the Nissan Almera, the volume of which reached 1.6 liters and had 197 hp. with. Among other things, the sedan was equipped with two types of transmission: a five-speed manual transmission or four-speed automatic.

This model belonged to the segment of cars with an average cost.

For example, the basic configuration of the 2007 and 2006 Nissan Almera included power steering, electric window lifters. The price was almost 400,000 rubles. Optionally, with a surcharge, the equipment was supplemented with air conditioning, heated seats, as well as wheels made of light alloys. In addition, the model was equipped with a car radio.

At the end of 2012, the release of the Nissan Almera Classic for the domestic market was completed. To replace cars produced abroad, car dealerships began to supply Nissan sedans Almera, produced at the Volzhsky Automobile Plant.

Description

2006 Nissan Almera Classic car in the photo below:

This car belongs to generation number one Almera. In 2012, the last year of production, a 1.6-liter engine was installed on the sedan, hiding one hundred and seven "horses" under the hood. The engine could run on 95th gasoline. It was also distinguished by its economy, with a mixed driving cycle, the vehicle consumed 6.8 liters per hundred square meters. In urban conditions, consumption per hundred kilometers increased to 9.3 liters. But on the highway, this parameter reached 5.3 liters.

As the photo shows, the 2012 model differs from the 2006 car also externally: on the later model, the radiator grille was changed, and also on the bumper were added parking lights and turn signals.

On the 2012 model year, the design of the front optics has been changed.

Conclusion

Nissan Almera Classic fell in love with domestic motorists primarily for its reliability, interior ergonomics, unpretentious operation, comfort and maintainability. The sedan also consumes a moderate amount of gasoline, which is important given the constant rise in fuel prices. Many units and assemblies are adapted for domestic roads.

Nissan Almera Classic - the most popular sedan of the second half of the 00s, which became the best-selling "product" of the Japanese automobile plant. Despite the presence of more new version G15, the car does not lose its relevance and continues to be in increased demand, only not in dealerships, but in the used car market. Despite the common platform and structure of some parts, the models have a number of serious differences that define the individuality of both series.

Model Classic

Nissan Almera Classic is an offshoot in the Almera series, which was, in fact, a marketing ploy. Sales of the initial version of 2000-2006 gradually began to fall, the design became boring for a long time (even after the restyling of 2003, which did not greatly change the appearance of the car), and in technical terms, the engine of the beginning of the millennium began to lag behind.

The Classic model has become a symbol of revolutionary changes, which, by the way, were to the taste of all connoisseurs of Japanese sedans.

The new car in 2006 showed that foreign cars can also be produced for Russian conditions. Optimized for use on domestic roads, the Nissan Almera Classic offers excellent specifications that allow you to feel comfortable on the road. The unpretentious 1.6-liter power unit with 4 cylinders is capable of delivering power up to 107 "horses" (at 6000 rpm), while the torque reaches 146 Nm (at 3600 rpm). At a flow rate of 6.8 liters and maximum speed about 185 km / h, such a motor is ideal for various Russian conditions (weather, road). The box is available in two variations (the classic combination of automatic / mechanic), in contrast to the drive, which is exclusively front.

Design by Almera Classic - harmony in every curve.

The exterior is a modern concept at that time: elongated headlights, a relatively large grille, long fog lights, smooth lines between the body parts, as well as triangular taillights.

This style is a bit atypical for japanese sedan of that time (as can be seen from the description, it gravitates more towards European cars), so the car, even here, was able to surprise the public.

The interior has become much more comfortable. Of course, there are no innovations in terms of seats, dashboard and various details, but the high-quality study of these parts of the cabin has improved the driving experience for both the driver and the passenger. Various accessories have begun to look much more harmonious in a modern interior. Power windows, a comfortable lever, shifting gears, heated front seats, heated glass, air conditioning and much more equipment that appeared in the Nissan Almera Classic, when compared with previous versions, is a phenomenal qualitative leap in relation to such important interior details.

Comparison with Almera N16

The first Almera, which was officially supplied to Russia, first made a splash. Stylish body, powerful engine, good interior - what else does a budget car need to be happy?

Having quickly gained popularity, the car received a restyling, although the general features remained. However, gradually the interest in her faded away.

What is the reason? Why was it necessary to create a fundamentally new model with a slightly supplemented name? What to choose: Almera or Almera Classic? Everything is extremely simple. The previous version was developed for Japanese and European roads and, despite other advantages, did not fit the domestic roadways a little. With a clearance of 140 mm for the H16 instead of 165 mm for the Classic, it is difficult not to feel all the delights of the Russian off-road. This also affects the comfort in the cabin, although there are no complaints about the interior itself.

The technical side naturally differed in favor of the Nissan Almera Classic. The predecessor had 5 variants of the power plant, three of which are diesel. It was they who turned out to be unclaimed. Large emissions, problems with fuel, lack of power - this is a small range of problems faced by the majority of car owners in Russia. Of course, diesel spends much less fuel, but it will take root power point I couldn't.

The basic 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine looked pretty good, and it was taken as the basis of the Almera Classic engine. In terms of real power, the N16 and its successor are practically similar, although according to the documents there is a slight difference (116 versus 107 hp, respectively). The consumption of the 2nd generation of Almera is noticeably higher than that of the Classic, and amounts to 7.5 liters.

A weaker installation with a capacity of 98 liters. with. it is hardly worth comparing with the Classic engine, since in all respects it is inferior to it.

Comparison with Almera G15

As of 2016–2017 year Nissan Almera has one current version. it model III generation G15. Comparing the Classic with this version is very important, because when buying a used car, many are lost in doubts about which of the vehicles is better to buy. It would seem why such a difficulty arises, if it is obvious that the updated car is in fact of the same line better than its predecessor. In fact, this is a rather controversial statement.

The main factor that clearly turns off some car enthusiasts is the design of the updated version.

The headlights have received a rather ambiguous shape, which gives them a double look: on the one hand, they personify a combination of modern trends and Japanese classics, and on the other, an incomprehensible picture, which is an extremely non-standard design solution.

The grille of the car is located a little carelessly, and for some reason it goes onto the hood.

Of course, the rear and side parts of the car look pretty good overall and in some way compensate for the shortcomings of the front overhang, but this does not completely change the picture (besides, the taillights are still a bit weird). In terms of appearance harmonious Nissan Almera Classic looks stylish and elegant, and this factor is decisive for many applicants for a budget Japanese sedan.

The technical side of the G15 is slightly better than its predecessor, but in fact the car remained the same unpretentious urban sedan.

Motor y vehicle only one: a 1.6-liter petrol 4-cylinder capable of producing up to 102 hp. with. power and 145 Nm of torque.

These are almost identical parameters with the Classic, since the motor of the modern Almera is only a revision of the previous version, and not a setup created from scratch. Fuel consumption has slightly increased, but in reality it has remained approximately the same (since the actual and legal parameters of fuel consumption are almost always different).

Conclusion

Nissan Almera Classic - best model urban budget sedan from the famous Japanese manufacturer, which attracts with all its features. To be convinced of this, it is enough to compare it with its predecessor and successor (N16 and G15, respectively). Of course, each car has its pros and cons, but in Classic they are balanced in favor of the former.
