In Japan, the Mitsubishi Proudia is addressed to the same audience as the Toyota Crown - wealthy businessmen and high-paid employees. Engines - two V6 2.5 and 3.7 liters. All-wheel drive is available only with the most powerful motor, and the hybrid power point- exclusively on the extended version of the Proudia Dignity.

Russian trace

It is unrealistic to find Mitsubishi Praudia in Russia. In 1999-2001, the previous generation of the model was produced, based on Hyundai equus, but it was produced in such a modest circulation that cars did not reach Russia. The new Proudia is needed here even less than the Nissan Fuga, because the modest demand for Nissan premium sedans satisfies the Infiniti M.

Toyota Aqua

It would be strange to write about the domestic Japanese market and bypass the best-selling model - the Toyota Aqua subcompact hybrid hatchback. In 2012, it went on sale in both Japan and the United States. And if in America the model is considered a more or less extravagant product, then in the Land of the Rising Sun it is a real mainstream. In the first half of 2014, more than 123,000 vehicles were sold. Most of Aqua's fans are among young people, whose idealistic consciousness is favorably combined with a lack of money to buy and refuel a normal car. The power unit is borrowed from the older Prius model: a petrol 1.5-liter engine, a 61-horsepower electric motor and a variator. In total, 99 hp comes out. and 2.83 liters per 100 kilometers. The Prius, simply due to its weight, consumes 3.9 liters, and this captivates the audience, because fuel in Japan is not a cheap pleasure.

The calculation was carried out using a new methodology for determining the reliability. The old system, when a simple number of breakdowns were recorded, no longer satisfied the technicians, since minor parts, such as brushes or plastic decorative caps made by third-party manufacturers, could break. This time, the owners were surveyed using a complex system. Motorists gave reasons why they got rid of their car or told why they did not want to do it. In addition, the analysis of statistical data was carried out, which included more than 2.5 million cars. As a result, those models that held out in the same hands for the longest time won. Percentage of longest life was shown in parentheses next to pre-2006 models. Moreover, the winners turned out to be quite expensive brands, inaccessible to the mass buyer. All models have global status and are relevant to our aftermarket.

Hybrids (32.1%) and Toyota Prius (31%).

The first car was developed on the basis of the Camry sedan and entered the world markets in 2001. The first generation had several motors, including a hybrid one. The Japanese developed it specifically for Western markets. Therefore, in America and Australia, the hybrid has become a bestseller. Permanent all-wheel drive with Torsen lock differential is still considered one of the best in the world. In addition, electrical engineering has shown phenomenal reliability. It nurtures even more of the suspension and 3.3-liter petrol unit that the hybrid was paired with. It turned out to be a kind of Prius for the rich.

The most expensive Japanese cars are unlikely to compare in price with their rather expensive Western counterparts, the cost of which often reaches impressive sums. Nevertheless, over the decades of its existence, the auto industry of the Land of the Rising Sun has managed to give the world a lot of daring and unusual models, the acquisition of which is not affordable for everyone - this article is devoted to them.

With rare exceptions, the maximum price of cars in yen will be indicated during the period of their production in Japan.

Years of issue: 1995-2002

Maximum price: 9,800,000 yen

The Japanese answer to the American auto industry icon, the Hammer SUV. Like its overseas counterpart, the Toyota Mega Cruiser began its journey primarily as a military vehicle, in addition to being in the fleets of the police and fire and rescue units. Its main purpose is to transport personnel, transport the wounded, and work in rough terrain.

Despite its origins, Toyota decided to release the car in a limited edition for civilians. The car was sold exclusively in Japan - on his example, the Japanese auto giant wanted to try out certain technologies and developments, which were later to form the basis of less Spartan models. One way or another, but the Mega Cruiser itself failed on sale.

The gigantic Mega Cruiser remains the most massive SUV assembled by Toyota to this day - its dimensions are 5090x2169x2075 mm. The model was equipped with a 4.1-liter turbo diesel 15B-FTE I4, which had high torque at low revs. A couple of him was a four-speed "automatic" with Toyota Land Cruiser 80. Inside the model there were other borrowings - a steering wheel from Carina, a ceiling lamp - from a Corolla. Four-wheel drive, steering with four-wheel drive and independent suspension - included.

Nissan President (fourth generation)

Years of issue: 2002-2010

Maximum price: 9,870,000 yen

The main competitor of Toyota Century in the class of elite sedans / limousines. However, unlike its rival, the car was officially sold overseas in Japan, mainly in Hong Kong and Singapore.

The fourth generation of President was introduced in 2002. The model was based on the Cima sedan, from which the limousine inherited and power unit- 4.5-liter VK45DE V8. It was produced in two configurations - five and four. Despite fewer seats, the 4-seater option was more expensive due to a wider range of equipment, including Bose audio systems and a row electronic devices controlled from the rear row center armrest. In this version of the car, there was also a VIP seat behind the back of the front passenger, providing additional comfort.

In August 2010 of the year Nissan announced that they are abandoning the continuation of President and Cima. The cars required significant safety improvements, but low sales (just 69 President in 2009) made the necessary modernization actions impractical.

Years of issue: 1999-2002

Maximum price: 9,990,000 yen

Developed in 1999 in conjunction with South Korean Hyundai, the limousine was produced as a competitor to Toyota Century and Nissan President. Among the few owners of this car, Prince Akishino, a member of the imperial house of Japan, was also noted.

Dignity was equipped with a 5.0-liter 8A80 engine with 276 hp. The car resembled a similar Mitsubishi sedan Proudia, however, had a lengthened body, more comfortable space for passengers in the back row and additional equipment. Unlike its competitors, Mitsubishi opted for front-wheel drive rather than rear-wheel drive. In addition, the model was equipped with a number of innovative systems at that time.

Official sales of the model began on February 20, 2000. MMC expected to release at least 300 Dignity and Proudia cars a month, but their intentions were not destined to come true - a sedan with a limousine turned out to be extremely unclaimed. In 15 months, only 48 Dignity were sold, after which the company had to abandon the production of cars. In South Korea, however, it gained much more popularity under the name Hyundai Equus, production of which lasted seven years longer until 2009, when the second generation of the luxury sedan was released, no longer associated with the Japanese roots of its predecessor.

In 2012, Mitsubishi decided to return to the Dignity model, but that's a completely different story. In the rebirth, the car has lost all individuality, becoming just a rearrangement of the Nissan Cima.

Years of issue: 1997-

Maximum price: 12,538,286 yen

The main Japanese luxury car. A car of truly national importance - in 2006, the imperial family moved from the Nissan Prince Royal to 4 versions of this car specially assembled for them. The 5.2-meter limousines were assembled at the request of the Japanese Imperial Court Administration, cost $ 500,000 each, and had a granite and rice paper interior. However, we will not be talking about them here - we will pay attention to their serial versions, no less remarkable.

The favorite car of Japanese officials and the yakuza was introduced back in 1967 and was produced for 40 years without any major changes. The second generation of the model in 1997 became noticeably more modern on the inside, remaining on the outside almost all the same classic Century as forty years ago. The car is equipped with a 276-horsepower 5.0-liter 1GZ-FE V12, drive - rear, transmission - six-speed "automatic". By the way, this is the only car on the Japanese market with rear wheel drive and a front-end V12 engine.

In the Japanese market, the Century, despite a slight lag in price, is positioned higher than the entire Lexus range. The limousine is sold exclusively at Toyota Stores within Japan. The main focus is naturally on the passengers rear seats, where they are provided with maximum comfort - the chairs are equipped with a massage mechanism, and the doors are equipped with a special electronic door closer, which allows them to close completely silently.

The model does not use any Toyota symbols, only its own - the phoenix emblem and the Century lettering. From a marketing point of view, the car is devoid of all the pomp that accompanies similar cars from Maybach, Rolls-Royce and other brands, which are for most a sign of excessive wealth. Century, in the information field, has a reputation of a car, testifying to the many years and painstaking work of its owner, about his success in the most traditional sense of the word.

Honda nsx type r

Years of issue: 2002-2004

Maximum price: 12,554,850 yen

When it entered the international market in the early 90s, the Japanese supercar with an all-aluminum body and chassis and a 3.2-liter V6 producing 280 hp was a real eye-opener. In 2002, the model underwent a small redesign - the headlights gave way to high-grade xenon optics, the body underwent slight changes, the width of the rear tires increased.

Concurrently with the redesign in 2002, Honda introduced the second iteration of the NSX-R, which remained true to the philosophy of the original modification. Since its launch, the NSX has been positioned as a world-class sports car, but the engineers had to make certain sacrifices so that the sporty spirit of the car did not interfere with its use for everyday driving. The NSX-R was an option for those who craved uncompromising performance.

The base for the second NSX-R was a fixed roof chassis due to its greater rigidity and lighter weight. In the manufacture of body components, CFRP was widely used to reduce the weight of the parts. The model, among other things, received an aggressive rear spoiler and a ventilated hood, which was at the time the largest among made of carbon fiber. Comfort has been minimized - the audio system, soundproofing, air conditioning and power steering have been removed. These and some other actions made it possible to reduce the weight of the sports car by as much as 100 kg.

The 3.2-liter V6 model also received a number of improvements. From now on, every engine for the NSX-R was handcrafted by an experienced engineer using the same technology used to create motorsport motors. According to Honda, however, the NSX-R was rated at 290bhp, which is the same as the stock NSX. The Western press was skeptical about these statements, arguing that the real power of the sports car is noticeably higher. In general, the car has demonstrated itself with the best side showing the time on the track no worse than much more powerful and modern Italian supercars.

Nissan GT-R NISMO and Spec V

Years of issue: 2009 (Spec V) and 2015 (NISMO)

Price: ¥ 15,444,000 (NISMO) and ¥ 15,750,000 (Spec V)

The Nissan GT-R is Japan's premier supercar today. Continuing the glorious sports pedigree of the Skyline GT-R, Godzilla has never been a cheap car, but some of its modifications have a truly impressive price tag.

The first version of the model to surpass 15 million yen was the Spec V, unveiled at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show. The car has received carbon fiber parts and an exclusive black paint on the outside. Inside, the rear row of seats has been completely removed, and the front row has been replaced with Recaro carbon fiber seats. Carbon is also widely used for the interior of the model, covering most of its interior.

The engine of the model did not receive an increase in power, however, the company's engineers did significant work on the filling of the car, equipping it with a new boost controller, a titanium exhaust system, carbon-ceramic brakes, 20-inch NISMO wheels, and also re-tuned the suspension. These improvements made it possible to reduce the weight of the car by 60 kg and increase the acceleration, which, according to experts, was 3.2 seconds to 100 km / h.

The parade of expensive modifications of the GT-R in 2015 was continued by NISMO from the eponymous motorsport division of Nissan. The supercar received a significant increase in power up to 600 hp, many engineering improvements, acceleration to "hundreds" in less than 3 seconds, aerodynamic details and the classic NISMO black-white-red color scheme.

Despite all the improvements, NISMO was never able to beat the Spec V in price, including in the US market. The late modification was priced at $ 149,990, while the 2009 variant cost over $ 160,000.

Lexus LS600h L Executive Package

Years of issue: 2007-

Price: 15,954,000 yen

Lexus models are famous for their immodest price tags, however, include all of them in this top it would be pointless - we decided to pay attention to two exceptional representatives of the legendary brand.

The fourth generation of the Lexus LS executive sedan was released in 2006 and remained true to the philosophy of comfort and sophistication, laid back in 1989 with the first model for the brand, which, by coincidence, gave rise to the LS series. Today this car comes in many variations, but the most expensive version can certainly be called the LS600h L Executive Package.

LS600h L rightfully bears the title of the most expensive sedan produced in Japan. The model has an extended wheelbase and is equipped with a hybrid system based on a 5.0-liter V8 with 439 hp. A couple of it is the L110F CVT variator, the drive is full. The car is equipped with many modern and innovative systems and technologies, including comfort and safety. With the LS600h and LS600h L Lexus were able to reach a qualitatively new level and secure their place in the segment of manufacturers of the most prestigious cars. The success of the flagship model is also evidenced by sales - about 9,000 units per year, which is an excellent indicator for this class.

Extremely expensive, the LS600h L becomes even less affordable with the Executive Package. Its main task is maximum comfort for back row passengers. Especially for them there is a special infotainment system, a control panel for car functions, a folding table, a shiatsu massage system and seats with leg support.

Mitsuoka Orochi Kabuto and Evangelion Edition

Years of issue: 2008 (Kabuto) and 2014 (Evangelion Edition)

Price: 13,800,000 yen (Kabuto) and 16,000,000 yen (Evangelion Edition)

Susumu Mitsuoka gave the world a unique phenomenon - Mitsuoka, which has existed since 1968 in its own special world and in no way claims to be the world automobile domination. For almost half a century, the company has been releasing in small editions for nostalgic Japanese and foreign fans, remade for British classics. domestic cars, and its staff for the entire period of its existence did not exceed 600 people.

The first original model of the company was the "Pokemon" Mitsuoka Orochi, the concept of which based on the NSX was presented to the public back in 2001. Even then, many noted the extraordinary design of the model, inspired by Japanese folklore, from where, by the way, the name of the car was borrowed. Yamata no Orochi, the great snake with eight tails and heads from Shinto myths, incarnated in the body of a sports car. Despite a lot of conflicting reviews, in 2006, already on its own platform, mass production of the machine began.

The sports car, production of which ceased last year, has long been remembered by everyone as one of the most unusual production cars. With a 3.3-liter V6 with 233 hp. Under the hood, the rear-wheel drive model could hardly compete with the NSX, GT-R and many other established leaders in Japanese motorsport on the track, but its unique design was what truly made it special. Apparently, this is why Orochi was initially an extremely expensive pleasure, as critics noted more than once. Despite their displeasure, the car sold well, and its pedigree has two extremely expensive special editions that made it into this article.

Concept unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show special version Kabuto with lots of carbon fiber exterior, body kit and rear spoiler. In 2009, the eponymous series of five cars was released, retaining the conceptual design, as well as receiving a new exhaust system and a tuned engine. Some of the interior details have been replaced with aluminum ones, and the leather-upholstered seats have received special stitching.

For a long time Kabuto remained the most expensive of the Orochi series, but in 2014, even after the “farewell” version of the car, the Evangelion Edition was released, breaking the previous price record. It includes 11 cars, each with a unique color scheme inspired by the iconic Japanese anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. The technical filling of the car has remained unchanged.

Years of issue: 2010-2012

Price: 37,500,000 yen (basic version) \ 44,500,000 yen (Nürburgring Package)

A triumph of Japanese engineering, the first Lexus supercar to combine the luxury and technology of the brand with the sporting prowess of Toyota. The development of the model from scratch has been going on for ten whole years since 2000. Since 2005, while in conceptual form, it has been exhibited at the world's most high-profile auto shows. Auto sales began in 2010 and the new product immediately received a flurry of enthusiastic reviews and many awards.

The final model received a 4.8-liter "naturally aspirated" V10 with a capacity of 560 hp. with a dual system of variable valve timing Dual VVT-i. Titanium and ceramic elements were used in the creation of the engine, maximum speed amounted to 325 km / h, acceleration to "hundreds" - in 3.7 s. An invited team of specialists from Yamaha worked on its sound. The engine is coupled with a six-speed robotic box gear. The frame is constructed from a combination of carbon fiber reinforced plastic and aluminum. The chic interior of the car, trimmed with carbon fiber and leather, also corresponds to the technical stuffing.

2010 saw the introduction of a "charged" version of the Nürburgring Package supercar, tailored to the LFA-based cars competing in the Nürburgring 24 Hours endurance event. The novelty received a power increase of 10 hp, a retuned transmission, many aerodynamic parts, adjustable suspension, exclusive body colors and special molding. The car managed to set a lap speed record on the Nurburgring track, and at the same time demonstrate there the maximum speed among stock supercars. An incredible 44,500,000 yen price tag makes this the most expensive car ever assembled in Japan.

The car came out in a limited edition of 500 copies, 50 of which are the version of the Nürburgring Package. The model was assembled exclusively by hand for individual orders at the company's factory in the city of Toyota, Aichi Prefecture.

Toyota 2000 GT

Year of issue: 1967

Price: $ 1.16 million

Finally - a special "bonus track", a model whose sales ended decades ago. It does not quite fit into the concept of this article, but it would be a crime not to mention it. Here is the cost of not the production version, but the auction price for one specific copy, which since 2013 rightfully bears the title of the most expensive Japanese car.

2000GT is an ageless classic, a legendary sports coupe, which has proven in its time that truly elegant supercars can be assembled in the East as well. Due to the rather limited production - only 351 models, 62 of which are left-hand drive, it remains a popular element of private collections, for which auto antiques are sold at auctions for impressive sums.

The price record for both the model and all Japanese cars was set in May 2013, when the Japanese beauty found her new owner at RM Auctions, who did not regret to shell out $ 1.16 million for it. The buyer was a collector from Texas, who took possession of an outstanding specimen.

The yellow 1967 model, described by RM as the most authentic and quality 2000GT on display in a long time, is a LHD export option for the American market. Otherwise, its characteristics are similar to the rest of 350 cars of this series: a 2.0-liter "six" with a capacity of 150 hp, DOHC, five-speed "mechanics", a maximum speed of 215 km / h.

Updated Mazda 3 2018-2019 - photos, first news, price and configuration, specifications Japanese sedan and Mazda 3 hatchback, which survived the planned restyling. On June 14, 2016, sales of the new Mazda3 started in Japan, offered in the local market under the original name Mazda Axela. The price of new items starts at 1,760,400 yen (about 1,050,000 thousand rubles). In Europe, the updated Mazda troika will be on sale until the end of 2016 after the official presentation at the Paris Auto Show, but the restyled version of the Mazda 3 will be available to Russian motorists only in the middle of next 2017.

It should be noted right away that the five-door hatchback and four-door sedan of the Mazda 3 family, having survived the restyling, barely perceptibly changed outside and inside thanks to light cosmetic interventions of designers in the design of the body and interior. But at the same time, the novelty has acquired a mass of high-tech and even exotic systems that provide more comfortable and safe driving. So about all the changes and innovations in order. Let's start with the new, slightly corrected appearance of the Japanese Mazda 3 2017-2018 model year.

The updated model has got new LED headlights with adaptive control, which does not allow dazzling drivers of oncoming cars (four LED blocks are responsible for high beam, low beam also LED), a larger false radiator grille with a Mazda emblem shifted below, a modified bumper with miniature LED fog lights, as well as rear-view mirrors with LED strokes of direction indicators.

The rear part of the body of the updated Mazda3 differs from the pre-reform model in a different bumper with compact horizontal foglights and a more elegant insert made of unpainted plastic that imitates a diffuser.

There are even fewer changes in the cabin: there is a new, more ergonomic wheel, modified front panel and center console, more powerful center tunnel. We also pay attention to the appeared electric key. parking brake, an upgraded head-up display (full-color with increased characteristics of brightness, contrast and clarity), in the presence of a driver's seat with an electric drive and settings memory, the display can also be configured and adjusted (tilt angle, brightness, a set of information displayed on the screen).

The Advanced Smart City Brake Support system, capable of automatically stopping the car in urban conditions in case of unforeseen situations, received a camera capable of recognizing not only pedestrians, but also road signs at a speed of 10 to 80 km / h.
Of the unusual chips that have found application in the updated Mazda 3, it is worth highlighting the new G-Vectoring Control assistance system for the correct and safe car control. The exotic GVC system, by analyzing the steering angle and the characteristics of the road surface, is able to adjust the engine operation (to deliver the optimal torque to ensure maximum contact of the driving wheels with the road). This latest system opens the way for Mazda's Skyactiv-Vehicle Dynamics complex, which will be installed as standard on Japanese novelties and will provide a more natural and natural driving experience.

For diesel engines, a Natural Sound Frequency Control system with Natural Sound Smoother technology was prepared (reduces the noise level and provides a pleasant diesel sound for perception).

Specifications Mazda 3 2018-2019: the updated Mazda 3, like the pre-reform model, is equipped with three gasoline engines SKYACTIV-G and a couple diesel engines SKYACTIV-D, gearboxes to choose from 6 manual transmissions and 6 automatic transmissions, front-wheel drive. But for the SKYACTIV-D 2.2 diesel engine, the system is available all-wheel drive i-Activ AWD.
Petrol versions of Mazda 3:
1.5-liter SKYACTIV-G (100 HP 150 Nm).
2.0-liter SKYACTIV-G (120 hp 210 Nm).
2.0-liter SKYACTIV-G (165 hp 210 Nm).
Diesel versions of Mazda 3:
1.5-liter SKYACTIV-D (105 HP 250 Nm).
2.2-liter SKYACTIV-D (150 hp 380 Nm).

Drivers who have had the opportunity to drive different brands of cars will agree that there are no perfect cars. Neither the reliability of Japanese cars, nor the impeccability can save you from malfunctions during the operation of the vehicle. German marks nor the recognized safety of the Volvo brand. The realities of the roads in this regard do not spare anyone.

Volvo cars are rightfully considered one of the strongest and safest

However, it should be noted that the leading places in the world tops are often occupied by Japanese cars. They are significantly ahead of their competitors in terms of durability and reliability. Among the most popular and demanded manufacturers are:

  • Toyota - among the merits are quite high indicators of reliability, simplicity of design, availability of spare parts at reasonable prices and ease of maintenance. Cars of this brand are able to overcome almost all extreme conditions: heat, thunderstorms, frost. Such cars are highly popular and recognizable.

  • Nissan - quite a bit in quality from Toyota cars lags behind. And this is just one drawback. Suspension y Vehicle this brand is unsuitable for driving on roads with poor coverage. It is more suitable for movement on city streets with good roads... For Russian hinterlands and off-road, this technique will not work. But in terms of the quality of the engine, body elements, transmission and other components, there are no complaints.

  • Mitsubishi - equipment from this manufacturer is distinguished by an excellent level of reliability and modern electronic filling. However, there is also weak spots: often the welded parts of the body are made somewhat carelessly and the body itself is not well treated with an anti-corrosion compound.

  • Subaru - cars are distinguished by good handling, stability and excellent dynamics. They just behave well on winter Russian tracks. There are difficulties with the availability of spare parts, and Subaru cars require high-quality gasoline.

  • Honda - cars from this manufacturer attract consumers with their power, reliability and stability. They will be able to serve their owners for a very long time, provided they have high-quality fuel and good oil... The stylish design and comfortable interior of this brand are just perfect.

  • Mazda - the lineup is very wide and includes roadsters, SUVs, pickups, minivans and small and medium-sized cars. Just like cars Nissan brands, Mazda cars have a slightly flawed suspension and it is not suitable for driving on poor road surfaces.

It is the models of real brands that most often lead the rating of Japanese cars.

Generalization of the quality of Japanese production

Today, Japanese car manufacturers produce reliable and high-quality vehicles. They have already developed a huge technical base and experience.

Let us dwell in more detail on certain positive aspects that distinguish the products of the Japanese car industry from manufacturers in other countries:

  • Engine. It is worth noting that the Japanese have fairly high quality engines. Most often cars are delivered to Russia from. In this case, the capacity is compensated for by the volume. Under operating conditions in our country, such motors work much longer, although they consume a little more fuel. The Japanese also have turbocharged engines, but they rarely come to us.
  • Transmission. The mechanics in Japanese vehicles are flawless. Automatic transmissions, combining an automatic machine and a variator, are as practical and reliable as possible. With due maintenance they serve for a very long time and have no complaints.
  • Drive unit. All cars exported from Japan are equipped with front-wheel drive, which is quite practical. Some sedans have all-wheel drive. There are no complaints about the quality of the structures.
  • Suspension. The simple and time-tested suspension structure allows it to work for a long time even in our off-road conditions.
  • Body and interior. The body design of Japanese vehicles combines beauty and aggressiveness. Inside the cabin, as a rule, everything is done ergonomically.
  • Cost and warranty obligations. The Japanese, as it were, give a 5-year warranty on their cars, but everything is pretty cleverly twisted. For example, high mileage excludes the suspension warranty and many other similar clauses. As for the price, it was previously competitive, but in recent years, when Japanese manufacturers realized that their products are popular and in demand, the cost has increased.

Consumer rating from the American publication Consumer Reports

It is believed that the Japanese auto industry is still unparalleled throughout the world. It is the manufacturers from this state who do not get tired to amaze consumers with the wonders of the engineering of their products, as well as the design, technology perfection and technical characteristics of the models.

The American publication Consumer Reports decided to find out which Japanese car is better according to the consumer rating. In this case, only the reliability indicators of the vehicles were considered.

Honda took the leading position in the list.

The second most popular carmaker was Subaru. They have an excellent crossover, a sports car, and a beautiful sedan.

The fourth place belongs to the Mazda automobile industry. Models from this manufacturer are distinguished by quality and the best price-reliability ratio.

The Mitsubishi brand does not quite reach the championship. However, it is highly regarded by tuning enthusiasts.

Another popular and reliable brand that claims to be "Best Japanese Car" is Nissan. Models from this manufacturer are most often chosen by night racers, speed enthusiasts and professional drifters.

The most popular cars of 2015 in Japan

Every year, Japan selects the top 10 most popular cars that are best sold in the country. The selection included cars lineup 2015-2016. This is how the results of the ranking "Best Japanese Car of 2015" look like:

  • The first place went to the Mazda MX-5 model.

  • Just a little behind the leader Honda S660. This car has earned its well-deserved popularity due to its aggressive character and striking appearance.

  • But the third position was taken this time by a completely non-Japanese brand. According to the voting results, there was a BMW - 2nd Series Active and Grand Tourer.

  • Following the top three is the rear-wheel drive Jaguar XE.

  • In fifth place was Tesla's rather expensive electric car.

  • The next position was taken by the Suzuki Alto.

  • Thanks to its attractive sporty appearance, the Sienta managed to win the 7th line. It is produced in three versions: a five-seat version for wheelchair users, a six-seat version and a seven-seat version.

  • Hit the top 10 and Fiat 500X. Consumers have greeted this vehicle with enthusiasm for its performance and design.

  • At the end of the rating, but still in the top is the Subaru Legacy / Outback.

  • The last position is occupied by a hybrid Nissan x-trail... The rise in popularity of this SUV has been observed around the world.

Summing up all of the above, we can conclude that each individual brand of Japanese cars has its own characteristics and advantageous characteristics. The range of models is quite wide and allows everyone to choose for themselves the best option... However, when choosing a new Japanese car for yourself, it is important to take into account the conditions in which it is supposed to operate, its weak and strengths... This will allow you to enjoy the comfort and reliability of your vehicle for as long as possible.
