TagAZ Vortex Tingo, 2012

For a year, in my mode (I am engaged in cargo transportation and constantly drive around the cities of central Russia), the car has shown itself to be a decent working car. It has never failed, it is very comfortable, although, due to the front-wheel drive, sometimes there is not enough cross-country ability, but, nevertheless, when I drove around the fields and ravines for many hours on the way to the south (in front of Rostov, Krasnodar, etc.) they envied me. On the road TagAZ Vortex Tingo behaves perfectly. Moderately stiff suspension allows you to enter corners at normal speed, like "on rails", and good aerodynamics contributes to gaining and maintaining cruising speed (120-140 km / h). The engine seemed to me too tight, although the point here is more of a CNC and electronic pedal gas (I think if you "reflash" the CNC, it will be faster), because 132 "horses" for 1.5 tons is a very good ratio. TO 5 (40 thousand km) was a very unpleasant surprise. The fact is that TagAZ put up requirements on their cars: replacing the timing belt and three rollers (all together about 8,000 rubles) every 40 thousand km, although the same Chinese change it much less often, but nothing can be done - the car is guarantees, and therefore must be changed. What was my surprise when I looked at the removed belt and rollers, there are no cracks or any defects on them, they would calmly walk up to 60 thousand km. In terms of consumption, it turns out from 7-12 liters, depending on how you press the pedal. TagAZ Vortex Tingo is very sensitive to the quality of gasoline. The quality of the interior and exterior materials is quite acceptable for its price point, and does not look terribly cheap. Conclusion: the car is ideal for those who are constantly driving (carriers, taxi drivers). Cheap service, relatively economical fuel consumption, very comfortable long trips (I traveled from Tula to St. Petersburg in one breath, I was practically not tired, except that I really wanted to sleep), but it (as well as any other car) should be monitored in a timely manner service. Good value for money.

And so I bought a car for 549 thousand in the most complete set, that is, nothing else is needed. Bought in the salon, Vladimir. He came, gave the money, they kicked us out and they say, go. The box "robot" well, straight "no". I did not understand why there is no parking on it and parking only with a handbrake, in my opinion, is not so good. Further, a rear-view mirror with anti-glare - great, but an altitude sensor - who needs it, probably only for lighthouses, as well as a barometer with incomprehensible numbers. The door sills were screwed on by the crooked workers and the car was put on sale, I would pull my hands out. Backdoor with a spare wheel, it was clearly heavy and did not close the first time, I had to turn the loop myself a little and everything was fine. When installed at the factory, the plastic lining in the trunk broke the caps and left it there, and the gap is almost two centimeters, you press it with your hand - it's okay, let it go - it's horror (you will have to put the caps yourself). In TagAZ Vortex Tingo, as they said in the salon, the onboard computer is nonsense. It only shows the instantaneous consumption and the speed at which you are driving, and the clock that no one knows how to set. You slightly press the front windows, and they immediately go down, this is wrong, because on Japanese cars on the contrary, I pressed it a little and it went up by itself. At the plant, they obviously cheated and stole all the "Shumka", the road and the engine in TagAZ Vortex Tingo can be heard as if you are driving on the hood. Well, that's all, in principle, bad, which while I saw 1200 km away in this car... Some good stuff. High ground clearance, the stove heats, the air conditioner cools, music with a USB stick and chips on the steering wheel (plus), heated seats (front). I have front-wheel drive- let's see what happens in winter.

I took Vortex Tingo in the TagAz assembly. So far, everything is fine, except for two nuances. I took the car from the dealership late in the evening, so the problems began only the next morning, when my husband and I went to register it with the traffic police and go through the TRP. We go to the traffic police and after the start of braking, we begin to listen carefully for a couple - an incomprehensible knock appeared from behind - to the right after the start of braking and with further coasting. The knock embarrassed us a lot, but they did not change their plans, they just decided to go to the salon, where they bought a typewriter and talk to local craftsmen. The car was registered quickly - an hour and a half after submitting the documents, they had already received numbers. The next step there was a trip to the TRP. And there were some adventures here. The night before, upon receipt, we checked everything, everything worked - it caught fire. TRP began to pass: brakes - in a relative order (the spread between the front and rear was written off to new pads - mileage - 50 km), high-beam plus low-beam headlights - in order, "turn signals" - in order, feet - in order, front "foglights " - OK. Well, we think we got through here too. They ask us to turn on the rear "fog light" - we press the button - no, we press the second time - the same thing, five times - not in any way. TRP not passed, they give us a piece of paper to repair the rear "fog", but it's a shame, in the evening everything worked. We leave the gates of the TRP, make a stop, the husband dismantles the hatch in the back door, does something there and lo and behold, the "fog lamp" lights up, the plug was poorly fastened. From the second call, the TRP passed (they did not even look at this ill-fated "fog", they took their word for it, for which they had a big "merci"). Mileage - 130 km. Adjusting the tailgate took more than three hours and convened a whole council of three people. The result is that the door closes the first time, although, as we were told, it will not work from the TagAz assembly of the Toyota RAV4. And the rest - the car is very happy, warm, comfortable, normal music. Soundproofing is lacking, but that's not a problem. We'll do the rear window tint and Shumka later. So "the devil is not so scary as he is painted." Good luck to everyone who decides to take the TagAZ Vortex Tingo - the car is what you need - in my opinion, the price-quality ratio is optimal.

Lots of space. Operation for long-distance vehicles is a little boring. Traveled to Karelia, Murmansk and back to M.O. - did not disappoint, but the illumination of the devices tires. The noise of the cabin and the stuttering CD changer sometimes annoy you. To summarize: the car is an average C grade. Moderately reliable, but enough stocks. There are pluses - this is a fairly large ground clearance and small overhangs, as well as interior adjustments. There are also disadvantages - it is thin metal, poor sound insulation, taut acoustics. I will not talk about fuel consumption. Because he's decent. I bought a new TagAZ Vortex Tingo in 2010 and I can say that I didn’t regret it. I bought it on the recommendation of a friend, who at that time had been driving Cherie Tigo for 4 years, for 510,000 rubles. There were doubts about the Chinese car industry, but I wanted new crossover, and for this money even Focus cannot be bought. In general, I decided. I will not go into the details of the purchase, I left a lot of nerves in the Magnitogorsk car dealership, in which 10 out of 15 cars were broken, and no one even tried to hide it. I chose for a long time, but not in vain, firstly, the car was pleasantly surprised by a set of options. Power windows for all doors, electrically adjustable and heated side mirrors, sunroof, central locking, automatic blocking of all doors when driving, airbags, ABS, and many other useful things. Secondly, the car showed itself quite well in winter period, which is very important for our Ural region. Started up the first time in 35 degrees of frost without problems, for the entire period of operation never let down. Thirdly, I still drive, ran 80,000 km and have not changed anything in the drive or in the engine for the entire time. I drove 3 times in Sochi, drove through the Saratov and Orenburg regions, whoever drove will understand me, thought that the end of the chassis, but no, everything is fine. The only thing is that the lambda probe flew, but I won't even call it a breakdown. Of the minuses, I will name poor noise insulation and cheap plastic in the cabin, but at the same time nothing rattles, as in all Ladas, nothing broke or fell off. The main disadvantage is that studs on wheels are constantly flying when replacing tires, the disease of all TagAZ Vortex Tingo, you have to put up with this, I attribute them to additional consumables, there are no problems with them in stores. In general, there are many more advantages, but for this money, try to find something better.

That is, every morning you need to climb under the hood in order to make sure about the presence of oil and other fluids. About problems: the gearbox is buzzing with novya, the dealer says - this is not a malfunction, until the gearbox dies completely, there is no need to talk about warranty repairs. The passenger's seat belt to the right of the driver does not work, also not a warranty case. THEN 2000 km the oil does not change at all. THEN 10,000 km only oil change. Warranty repair this car does not exist. Everything is written in the instruction manual. Pockets of rust are visible in some places on the body. The car is 8 months old. It is not known where the dust penetrating into the trunk is from, if dirt road- it's a nightmare, all the dust in the cabin, you can plant potatoes in the trunk. Winter is another story: minus 10-15 degrees - TagAZ Vortex Tingo starts up normally, -20-25 degrees - full caput. Fills candles, electronic damper sensor does not work properly. The car starts, but after 3-5 seconds. floods the candles, the motor starts to "troit". But the check doesn't burn. Dealer's answer: It's okay. Replaced candles at my expense. The warranty does not apply. The salon is assembled in the so-called clumsy way, probably collected with a blindfold. The buttons are still working, that's right. I will not lie. A similar car, but assembled by the Chinese, is heaven and earth. Ours could not even collect normally. Do not believe all the sugary reviews written by managers. They would have traveled on such junk themselves.

The five-speed "mechanics" provides obedience to the wheels and demonstrates good grip. But still, this does not cause supernatural emotions. Cushioning, despite the use of MacPherson strut technology in the A-pillars and reinforcement rear suspension hydraulics, leaves much to be desired. The driver and passengers feel the unevenness of the road literally with their whole body. Also, when hitting small bumps and pits, the steering wheel vibrates slightly: not the most pleasant feelings for the driver. 19 cm clearance (clearance) will allow you to drive on curbs and other small hills. That creates an advantageous position when parking in places that are not accessible to passenger cars. But the obvious off-road is not worth experiencing with Tingo: with front-wheel drive, this does not lead to anything good. And it is not positioned as an SUV in any way.

However, a one-time test drive is unlikely to say more than the reviews of drivers who operate their " iron horse" from day to day. There are no problems with spare parts in the city: either they are available. Or no more than 3 days under the order. Many complain about the rather weak "Shumka", I somehow do not pay attention. I say it again: the car is working + family. I appreciated the car, restyled, of course, it became even more beautiful, if I change it, then to it. For that kind of money, I can't buy a better one.

More than satisfied with the high seating position, the spaciousness in the cabin (he and his wife are not small + we carry the Labrador to the country and back!). The trunk for the dog has become just a "home!" And despite the fact that I roll the driver's seat all the way, there is plenty of room for my teenage son (they are not midgets either!). The equipment is the simplest (I have an MT1), while the car has ABS, 2 airbags, air conditioning (!!!), heated front seats, heated and adjusted side mirrors, power windows (4 !!!), automatic door locking, tumanki, casting! What car "in the base" is ready to offer this ?! And even for "half a mile"! The handling is quite at the level, there were no drifts, it smoothly enters into the turn. I put Velcro on for the winter, but I think that for Siberia it will not be an option. Of the minuses, I note: the doors were poorly regulated (silicone help!), And the sound insulation leaves much to be desired.

Knowledgeable people advised to move the steering wheel slightly when you warm up the car in cold weather. Because the seals on the steering rack are also a weak point. The doors were adjusted at the 1st TO, they were at Tingo as they were weak point, and remain. Well, there is no Shumkov. I did it myself, on the service. Now I want to order "koyabovskie" rear pillars to increase the lifting capacity. The one that is (about 350 kg) does not suit. In general, for such a price you cannot buy anything better in this class. So, all the problems that we have are expected and completely solvable.

I wouldn't even call it a "sneaker". Rather, a raised station wagon. I took a mechanic, I had unpleasant memories of the robot (my wife had been driving the Auris for 2 years, they were worn out!). The capacity is quite satisfactory. A refrigerator was transported in the trunk with the seats folded down. As for noise insulation, for that kind of money, what kind of "Shumka" can we talk about? The gas pedal is electronic, it doesn't bother me. He listens perfectly, a little "drowning", and fire! The visibility is excellent. Again, remembering "Auris", where because of the racks you can not see a pedestrian or a car because of the bend. On the track, accelerated to 180 easily. He adjusted the doors himself, TagAZ did not go away from this problem, as did Cherry himself. In general, I give Tingo a solid "four".

Analyzing all of the above, we come to the conclusion that the Vortex Tingo car, of course, is not without flaws. But there are quite a few drivers who are satisfied with the car. Moreover, the decisive factor was and remains the price. "Odnoklassniki" Tingo more venerable manufacturers, if not compare, come out more expensive. A typical middle-class car, ready to uncomplainingly drive around the city, to the dacha, to a picnic (if the driver does not abuse the off-road). Too nervous and impressionable is not recommended, due to poor sound insulation! If you have enough composure, the problem of closing the doors should not stop. In general, the car meets expectations and the balance of "price-quality" is quite expected. Disadvantages can always be found even in a "premium" car. So the decision is up to you. And only you!
