In most cases, the choice is based on personal preference for appearance. Some people like the modern design of the Focus more, while others pay more attention to the rich equipment of the Ceed.

Despite the complexity of the comparison, today we will try to find out what the pros and cons of these cars, which one is better, and we will try to give recommendations on the purchase of a specific option.

Specifications

Ford Focus has a fairly large number of engines, namely gasoline:

The more powerful version has an updated injection system to minimize frictional power loss when the engine is running. Concerning gasoline engines, then the following options are available:

  1. 1.4l MPI (100 hp).
  2. 1.6l GDI (128 hp).
  3. 1.6l MPI (130 hp).

All engines, without exception, are brought to EURO 6 standards, which means their modest appetites for fuel consumption. Among other things, Kia Sid with diesel engine will have a new and modern DCT transmission with two clutches and 7 steps.

In general, the vehicles are approximately equal in terms of technology. However, one cannot fail to note the EcoBoost power units, which are better in structure and give out more power than conventional motors. Therefore, Ford has a very slight advantage in this regard. But on the other hand, the Korean has a choice of 2 diesels, which also cannot be underestimated.

Appearance

Kia Sid has a really modern and beautiful appearance that sets it apart from all other vehicles in the class. Looking ahead, we will say that in the maximum configuration it is equipped with a glass roof, and this is "space" by the standards of the class in general. The design can be safely called aggressive, as the bold headlights, the shape of the radiator grille, and the narrow line of the side windows all indicate the sporty character of the Kia Ceed.

The third generation Ford Focus has a completely revamped appearance compared to its predecessor. Despite this, the car retained all the advantages, such as a large interior, modern appearance and practicality. The huge air intake on the front bumper looks gorgeous, and the rear part attracts with original lights. But the driver's seat, as always, in the Focus is good - you can sit for a long time and go far. The rear is also not bad, but a little tighter than in cee "d. And the trunk is too small - it does not even reach 300 liters, and the" entrance "into it is noticeably narrower than that of the opponent.
