    Once upon a time a similar effect was promised by the "Miracle mitten", which flashed on TV screens ten years ago. Then, frankly speaking, this technology did not cause our enthusiasm. We decided to test four different samples to back up the skepticism with deadly practical results.

And "Pure Shine" promised to wash the glass at the same time. It didn't work out as well as the bodywork, but still nice.

    Whether or not to use such means is a psychological rather than technical question. Not everyone decides to wash without water, even after seeing our results.     Now about the disadvantages that are also there. Let us immediately reassure the critics of this method, who argue that dry surface treatment damages the paintwork due to the abrasive effect of particulate contamination. This is not true. Due to the enveloping of dust particles with emulsion components, they lose abrasive properties... The real disadvantages are as follows:

    • the price of a means for a dry car wash and napkins is still quite high, but it pays off quite quickly;
    • washing wheel arches and wheels is pointless (at least because of high consumption emulsion and wipes);
    • you will have to work yourself (yourself);
    • dry washing does not exclude the usual - periodically it is required to use a washing machine with shampoo.

    A standard dry wash of a car body should not be confused with a dry wash of the engine, as the engine is “dry” washed using dry steam. Such engine cleaning requires stationary conditions and a special installation for generating dry steam. This effective method cleaning the engine excludes the ingress of water on electrical equipment and is preferable for use at stationary posts and service stations.

    Dry washing as a business

The absence of the need to connect to water supply and sewerage networks, as well as the absence of pollution of parking lots, makes this service convenient for visitors. Another type of this business is a mobile car wash, when the service is offered directly near multi-storey buildings and collective garages.

    Consider a short dry car wash business plan for two people to work together. This business plan does not include the registration of a legal entity or individual entrepreneur. It is also assumed that the entrepreneur has his own light transport.

    How technology works

    The agent that is used to perform a dry car wash is contained in the spray bottle. Usually there are two options on sale:

    • ready-to-use product;
    • concentrate to be diluted with water.

    The principle of operation is simple - we apply chemistry to the body part, wait and wipe it off with a towel. The product contains about 20 components with lubricating properties. This provides good protection of the body coating from scratches, which often appear during normal washing.

    Instructions for use

    1. First, you need to assess the degree of contamination of the car body. If you have large lumps of dirt, you should get rid of them with plain water. Do not rely on the fact that you can clean the body of a thick layer of dirt using this technology. But the water consumption will obviously be less, compared to an ordinary sink. You will also need water to wash dirty towels that remain after a dry wash. Washing is simple - soak in hot water, adding a little dishwashing detergent or liquid soap.
    2. The microfiber towel must be folded in four. As a result, you get 8 sides, which must be applied gradually.
    3. Shake the cleaner to mix well together.

    8. After each step, remove the towel and open the clean side. After using each of the 8 sides, take a clean towel.
    9. After removing the dirt, wipe the surface of the part dry using a separate microfiber towel.
    10. It is not necessary to apply a lot of product to the glass, since it contains wax, which can cause ugly stains.
    11. Wheels should be washed with separate towels. Note the presence of dust from the brake pads on the wheels, which can scratch the body very quickly.
