Correct driving of a car is one of the most important conditions for increasing its service life and trouble-free operation, and also allows achieving high average speeds with minimal fuel consumption.
Successful overcoming of difficult-to-pass sections of the track is possible only with skillful control of all vehicle mechanisms. When working with a trailer and in heavy road conditions(snow, mud, soft ground, sand, etc.) only start from the first gear. On soft soils, wet meadows, virgin snow and sandy areas, drive smoothly, without jerking, slipping or stopping. Overcome small snowdrifts and short inclines with acceleration. On particularly difficult areas (snow, mud, soft soil, sand, etc.), if necessary, reduce the air pressure in the tires to a certain value corresponding to the best passability in this area (for cars with a centralized tire inflation system) and block the differential transfer case, since slipping of the driving wheels when the car loses mobility or movement with wheel slip when the differential is unlocked leads to intensive wear of the transfer case differential and tires.

In all other cases of movement in the absence of wheel slip, unlock the transfer case differential in order to avoid additional loads in the transmission. Low gear in the transfer case, turn it on when driving on difficult sections of the path, as well as on steep inclines.

Shift the gears in the transfer case only after the vehicle has come to a complete stop, do not set the transfer case control lever to neutral with the transmission engaged and the auxiliary power take-off disengaged.

Switch on the auxiliary power take-off and the power take-off when the vehicle is stopped, with the clutch disengaged and with an air pressure in the pneumatic system of at least 500 kPa (5 kgf / cm²). After moving the valve lever to the "on" position, release the clutch pedal smoothly.

Brake the vehicle gently by gradually increasing the pressure on the pedal. On long descents, apply engine braking using auxiliary brake... In this case, the rotation frequency crankshaft the engine can be close to the nominal, but not exceed 2100 min -1. If the engine develops a speed of more than 2100 min -1, periodically slow down the car intensively with service brakes.

Attention! Do not turn off the engine on long slopes.

It is not recommended to stop the car on a slope. In case of a forced stop, it is necessary to take measures to exclude the possibility of rolling the car: turn off the fuel supply, turn on parking brake, first gear in the gearbox and place wheel chocks.

Use caution when driving on slippery or icy roads to avoid side slip.

On vehicles with a centralized tire pressure control system, when driving on roads with an improved surface with a rated load, the air pressure in the tires must be rated.
On difficult-to-pass sections of the road, a short-term decrease in the internal air pressure in the tires is allowed on vehicles. In this case, the maximum mileage and maximum speed must not exceed the values indicated below.

Road type: Severe wetlands, virgin snow and loose sands
0,05 (0,5) 0,10 (1,0) 0,15 (1,5)
Maximum speed, km / h: 15, 20, 25, 20, 30
14.00-20 , km: 600, 800, 1400
Maximum mileage during the warranty period tire service 1200x500-508, km: 400, 1000

Road type: Roads of all types. period of tire inflation after difficult sections of the track
Allowable reduced pressure, MPa (kgf / cm²):In the range from the highest value of the permissible reduced pressure to the pressure corresponding to the maximum permissible (nominal) load on the tire
Maximum speed, km / h: 30, 40
Maximum mileage during the tire warranty period 14.00-20 , km: 1400
Maximum mileage during the tire warranty period 1200x500-508, km: 1000

Note. It is recommended to stop the vehicle when driving onto a paved road during the period of increasing tire pressure.

Do not depressurize the tires more than is necessary for the road conditions. Remember that the reduced pressure range is limited, only reduce the pressure when absolutely necessary.
Observe the tire pressure gauge when driving with reduced pressure.
Do not drive with reduced pressure to increase the smoothness of the ride. When driving for a long time, the tire pressure may increase due to the warming up of the tires. To reduce rolling resistance and to conserve fuel, do not reduce the pressure in hot tires.
During the movement, the wheel cranes must be fully open, and at long stops, in order to avoid air leakage through leaks in the pipeline connections, they must be closed.

The car overcomes a ford with a depth of 0.7 m.

Overcoming ditches, ditches and ditches

Drive at low speed, in particularly difficult conditions, block the transfer case differential. Drive the ditches at right angles, otherwise the load redistribution will cause the unloaded wheels to slip when the vehicle is tilted.

Driving with a trailer and semi-trailer

To ensure the operability of the towing hitch, use the towing eye of a trailed train with an inner diameter of 90 mm and a cross-sectional area of 42 mm; a towing device hook with a jaw diameter of 48 mm and a width of 69 mm in the throat area. Permissible limit dimensions: loop section 38 mm, hook mouth 52 mm, hook width 66 mm.
Towing hooks and towing eyes that are different from the above must be replaced with new ones.
When maneuvering, avoid folding the trailer up to the stop of the drawbar of the trailer against the end of the frame side member or other elements of the vehicle.
Failure to do so may result in the trailer eye becoming jammed in the towbar opening and the towbar breakage.
When overcoming particularly difficult areas, unhook the trailer and, after overcoming the area, pull it to the vehicle with a winch. At the same time, remember that there should be three to four turns on the drum. Retract trailer at medium engine speed. Do not tow a trailer with a winch cable.
When overcoming difficult road sections with a Ural 43203-10, Ural 43203-31 car with a trailer (or when maneuvering), do not allow the spare wheel and its holder to come into contact with the trailer.
The center of gravity truck tractors located above the center of gravity onboard vehicles, so be very careful when driving. Brake the road train smoothly.

Remember that well in difficult road conditions the road train moves when the tractor and semi-trailer do not have a folding angle in the horizontal plane or this angle is very small. With an increase in the folding angle, a lateral force begins to act, which tends to overturn the tractor or cause it to slip sideways.

Attention! When driving with the auxiliary brake on, slippery road with a low coefficient of adhesion and the absence of a solenoid valve on trailers brake system folding and skidding of the trailer is possible.

When working with a trailer and in difficult road conditions (snow, mud, soft soil, sand, etc.), start driving only from the first gear. On soft soils, wet meadows, virgin snow and sandy areas, you should move smoothly, without jerking, slipping and stopping. To overcome small snowdrifts and short inclines with acceleration.

On particularly difficult areas (snow, mud, soft soil, sand, etc.), if necessary, reduce the air pressure in the tires to a certain value corresponding to the best cross-country ability in this area, and block the transfer case differential, since slipping of the driving wheels in case of loss driving a vehicle or driving with wheel spin when the differential is unlocked leads to intense wear of the transfer case differential and tires.

If it is difficult to activate or deactivate the differential lock and shifting the transfer case, it is necessary to move the car from its place (forward and backward) and repeat the shifting process.

When overcoming a difficult-to-pass section of the road with possible slipping of the car, block the cross-axle differential rear axle.

Carry out the blocking after a complete stop of the vehicle wheels. It is allowed to block the cross-axle differential when the vehicle is moving at a speed of no more than 30 km / h, provided there is no wheel slip. After turning on the blocking valve, you must make sure full inclusion locking mechanism, in this case, the indicator 35 should light up (see Fig. 8). Incomplete engagement of the locking mechanism can lead to destruction of the gearbox.

After overcoming a difficult section of the path, turn off the rear axle differential lock activation valve and make sure that the clutch is disengaged (the indicator should go out).

In all other cases of movement, in the absence of wheel slip, unlock the transfer case differential in order to avoid additional loads in the transmission. Engage the lower gear in the transfer case when driving on difficult sections of the path, as well as on steep climbs.

Shift the gears in the transfer case only after the vehicle has come to a complete stop, do not set the transfer case control lever to neutral with the gear engaged in the gearbox and the auxiliary power take-off disengaged.

Switch on the additional power take-off and the power take-off when the vehicle is stopped, with the clutch disengaged and at an air pressure in the pneumatic system of at least 500 kPa (5 kgf / cm2). After

moving the crane lever to the ON position, and the lighting of the HO / COM switch on the instrument panel, smoothly release the clutch pedal. If the indicator lamp does not light up, turn input shaft transfer case by short-term incomplete engagement of the clutch. If after that the indicator does not light up, it is necessary to eliminate the malfunction and restart it.

Brake the vehicle smoothly, gradually increasing the pressure on the pedal. On long descents, apply engine braking using the auxiliary brake. In this case, the engine crankshaft speed can be close to the nominal, but not exceed 2100 min-1. If the engine develops a speed above 2100 min -1, periodically slow down the car intensively with service brakes.

Attention! Do not turn off the engine on long slopes.

It is not recommended to stop the car on a slope. In case of a forced stop, it is necessary to take measures to exclude the possibility of rolling the car: turn off the fuel supply, turn on the parking brake, first gear in the gearbox and place stops under the wheels.

Use caution when driving on slippery or icy roads to avoid side slip.

On vehicles with a centralized tire pressure control system, when driving on roads with an improved surface with a rated load, the tire pressure must be rated.

On hard-to-pass sections of the road, on cars, a short-term decrease in the internal air pressure in the tires is allowed. In this case, the maximum mileage and maximum speed should not exceed the values indicated in table. 6.

Today the number of cars on the streets of cities exceeds all possible expectations. But not all drivers have mastered the skills of driving a car efficiently and at a professional level. Many pedestrians, at least once in their lives, thought about the fact that they need to take courses, pass a license and get their own vehicle. But many are stopped by the fear of the iron horse, the fear of not coping with training or being alone on the road and personally responsible for the safety of their own and those around them. For the first time, everyone is afraid to drive. Experience and masterfully honed skills come with time, in our practice we have not yet met a single person who would sit behind the wheel for the first time and immediately cope with all difficult situations on the road. In driving, the most important thing is practice, many hours of practical training will help hone your knowledge to automatism. But there is no practice without theory. The first thing you are introduced to in a driving course is theory. Your journey into the world of road traffic begins with it.

When you decide to master driving and get the cherished rights, it is worth remembering that your favorite car will start "kicking" on the road, trying to hit an expensive car that is driving in the next lane, will choose the path that runs through all the bumps and holes. But with a properly selected beginner driving school that uses up-to-date and up-to-date teaching methods, unpleasant episodes are minimized. When acquiring new knowledge, the most important thing is the competent distribution of your forces, the maximum criticality to your successes and failures at all stages of learning, and be sure to remember and listen to the advice that the teacher gives you in the lessons at the driving school.

One of the important points in teaching driving theory to beginners is sound thinking. Indeed, in addition to simple skills, you need to learn to clearly understand your actions in any situations on the road, and also be able to calculate all possible scenarios for the development of events in a short time.

First of all, we will talk about the correct driving technique.

If you look at newcomers during their practical training in a driving school, you will notice that many are mistaken for the wrong position while driving. They sit somehow, crookedly or half-turned, arguing their actions by the fact that it makes no difference how to sit, because the main thing is that the car is driving. This view of things is fundamentally wrong. Initially, you need to do everything right, because if you study on your own, you can gain unnecessary skills that will only interfere with you while driving. If you look closely at the traffic at rush hour on the highway, you can see that most cars drive smoothly and do not get out of the general traffic. This kind of driving is ideal, because the ride is easy and calm for everyone. But those individuals who are used to driving somehow, constantly twitch somewhere on the road, drive cars tensely, in jerks. This kind of driving will not bring pleasure to you or your passengers, because you will not be able to relax while driving. Remember that all your actions in the car interior are reflected on the road. It cannot be that you took the wrong position in the cabin, for example, sat very close to the steering wheel, and it passed without consequences. Someday someone will suffer because of you and it will be good if only the car is damaged.

When you get to know a car, you need to fully get comfortable in its interior. Explore as much as possible all levers, buttons and bulbs using the instruction manual for this car. There are no unnecessary parts and devices. Everything that you see in front of you, you will need and will be in regular use while driving.

What position of the driver behind the wheel is considered to be the most correct?

You need to figure out the position of the seat. It is important to adjust it exactly for your body characteristics. To adjust the seat, you need to work with the pedals in order to understand in what position it will be comfortable for you to drive the car. There are general guidelines for seating position, but don't forget about comfort and personal preference.

The next step will be the steering wheel. In no case should it be squeezed with force, and it is also not worth driving the car with one finger. For a better understanding, the proverb has long been invented that the steering wheel should be held like a bird, lightly and gently, but not too weakly. When you get to know the steering wheel, you need to master the correct position of your hands on it, your palms should be slightly above the horizontal axis, which can be mentally drawn through the steering circle. When you have found this place, remember that from now on, your hands will live here. Now, having decided how the hands lie, you can adjust the back of the driver's seat. This is also an important stage, because most drivers spend many hours at the wheel of their car and a tired, tense back will not become your best helper. When adjusting the back, you need to take into account your height and arm length, the ideal position is the back is as relaxed as possible and adjoins the seat, and your hands can easily reach all the necessary levers and buttons. In this position, you will not waste time on unnecessary actions and thereby be distracted from the situation on the road.

When getting to know a vehicle, a novice motorist has a number of questions, the answers to which need to be known before entering the road for the first time. rules road traffic... Before getting a driver's license, a potential motorist learns the rules of the road in theory and applies them in practice. Despite this, a number of unresolved issues still remain when driving a car on your own. Let's consider the main recommendations that allow a young car enthusiast to master the driving style and avoid unpleasant situations on the road.

The manner in which the vehicle is driven.

Not only a set of rules of the road and various instructions for novice car enthusiasts, allow you to answer common questions that arise in the early stages of driving. Unfortunately, the printed manual does not cover all cases that may arise on the road. The most detailed understanding of the issue of driving a vehicle allows you to get the personal experience of a seasoned motorist, which he is willing to share with a beginner. It is practical lessons under the guidance of an experienced teacher that allow you to fully master the manner of driving a car and answer common questions. After studying the recommendations and instructions of the instructor, we get answers to many questions and begin to feel more confident when driving. Courses for aspiring motorists, detail the rules of the road and allow you to get an initial practical experience.

Therefore, in the course of training a potential motorist, not only printed manuals and various instructions play an important role, but also the choice of a car instructor. It is the fundamentals provided by the auto instructor that make a great contribution to the driving behavior of the trained car enthusiast. After all, the experience passed on by drivers from generation to generation is a reliable and proven guide that allows you to avoid unforeseen situations on the road. Because how and what kind of experience the car instructor will pass on to the future driver, the behavior of the beginner on the road depends. Therefore, the first question that must be approached legibly and responsibly is the choice of a car instructor.

In this case, it is worth giving preference to proven and well-proven driving schools.

Getting to know the vehicle.

Every modern car has its own technical features that should be taken into account when driving. Therefore, before you get behind the wheel of your car, you need to familiarize yourself in detail with its characteristics. To do this, you should thoroughly study the following materials:

  • Machine device.
  • Vehicle driving instructions.
  • The location of all controls, as well as their exact purpose.
  • Sound and light signals of the car.

Before starting the movement, you need to prepare the car for yourself. To do this, you need to adjust the driver's seat and adjust the rear-view mirrors. By getting rid of the discomfort, you can fully focus on the road.
It is also necessary to study the dimensions of the car well and get used to them in a small area. After that, you can safely move out onto the main road, feeling well the dimensions of your vehicle.

Basic driving rules for beginners.

Your further behavior on the road largely depends on what experience you have taken from a car instructor. Therefore, it is necessary to try to adopt only the correct driving experience that complies with the set of rules of the road.
For novice car drivers, there are basic rules to avoid awkward driving situations.
Before setting off on the route, be sure to have all the relevant documents. After driving with an instructor is completed, it is imperative to have a license with you. And the most important set of security guarantors:

  • Before entering the road, carefully work out your route.
  • Mark the most difficult areas and disassemble them according to the rules.
  • Be sure to accompany each maneuver with a light signal, even if there are no cars nearby.
  • Be sure to control the situation from behind with the help of your rear-view mirrors.
  • When driving in urban areas, do not line up in the public transport lane.
  • When learning how to drive, try not to overtake.
  • If you are driving a car in winter, be sure to master engine braking.
  • Always turn on the daytime running lights before driving.
With careful study and a responsible approach, the rules for novice motorists will allow you to master the driving style and avoid unpleasant situations in practice. During the operation of the vehicle, training is always ongoing. After all, every motorist is constantly getting acquainted with the intricacies of driving his vehicle and continues to improve the level of skill.

Improve your experience and be vigilant. Good luck on the road!

Hello! I am a driving instructor, I want to offer novice drivers my own method of teaching how to drive a car, so to speak, remotely. Instructions for novice drivers will help you master the car faster.

Any undertaking starts with a theory.

Vdriving a car , simply, it is necessary first to disassemble theoretically from the very beginning of learning to drive, starting from starting off and to driving around the city, i.e. from scratch, a novice driver must undergo theoretical training in driving a car.

Each article in this section provides step-by-step instructions for becoming a professional driver from a "dummy".

Studying the suggested methods and guidelines will speed up the process of obtaining a driver's license. Read all of these articles carefully and be sure to re-read what you do not understand. In any article you can find something new and necessary to solve your problem and speed up the learning process. This is the theory of practical driving fromdriving instructor and it will fully help you learn how to drive a car with a manual transmission.

Today, roads in the vast expanses of our country are more and more confidently conquering cars equipped not with the traditional and familiar mechanical, but with an automated transmission that is relatively new for the consciousness of Russians, or, in other words, an automatic transmission (automatic transmission). At the same time, among the majority of novice drivers, there is a strong opinion that the only feature of driving such cars is ease of control and the absence of the need for self-changing gears. Like, know to yourself, press the gas or brake pedal: necessary for specific conditions ratio smart automation will choose on its own. In a word, neither you pressing the clutch pedal, nor endless manipulation of the speed lever - everything by itself, as "by the pike's command": beauty, and nothing more!

Of course, in many ways it is. In theoretical terms. Indeed, in some imaginary ideally flat space, where, in addition to you and your car, other participants road traffic does not exist, driving a car with an “automatic” does not require any special skills. This means that driving training is not needed either. However, miracles, as you know, do not happen, and in reality everything is much more complicated. The "automatic transmission instructor" will help you in training!

An automatic transmission is a complex, very expensive, computer-controlled unit that requires careful handling. Driving lessons will help you avoid unwanted situations, both on the road and with technical condition your car. An experienced driving instructor with an automatic transmission will explain that a reduction in the service life or even serious damage to the system can lead to wrong actions... Such as, for example, shifting the direction selector lever without stopping the vehicle completely, frequently switching the selector to neutral when stopping in traffic jams or when driving downhill, delaying the selector lever in neutral when shifting from D to R, etc.

An automatic transmission instructor is especially needed in Moscow and other large cities with high traffic intensity and frequent stops at the traffic lights. In particular, an automatic transmission driving instructor will not only make it clear that driving a car with an automatic transmission after a short stop should be started with a pre-depressed brake pedal, but will also help to feel the evidence of switching transmission light push, simultaneously with which you must press the gas pedal.

It's no secret that driving lessons with an automatic transmission are more expensive than learning to drive a car with "mechanics". However, the costs of in this case fully justify themselves. Especially if you consider that in most driving schools there is no training in driving cars with automatic transmission, and also the fact that an instructor for driving a car with automatic transmission, in fact, saves a lot of money that you would have to spend on repairs due to a breakdown or an accident due to improper handling of the machine.

Of course, the automatic transmission instructor in mandatory should have its own training car with automatic transmission and backup brake pedal. The first driving lessons (from 1 to 5) should take place in a specially equipped car, until the minimum necessary driving skills are obtained. Only after mastering the basic skills is it possible to transfer to own car to practice and consolidate driving skills already on your personal car... Of course, an automatic transmission driving instructor will help you!

In the course of the reform of the procedure for obtaining rights, it became possible to take exams in cars with an automatic transmission. Previously, the exercise "flyover" at the racetrack was always surrendered to mechanics. The submission procedure on the machine is not yet fully debugged. So, some MREO, even in Moscow, do not have cars with an automatic transmission, you can take the exam only with a driving school in its car. If you are taking the exam in a car with an automatic transmission, the AT (Automatic Transmission) mark will be on your driver's license and you will not be able to operate the vehicle with mechanical box.

It is much easier to drive a car with an automatic transmission, especially in conditions big city and traffic jams. What preparation and passing the exam in the traffic police to choose, a mechanic or an automatic - a question that is decided individually. I advise you to study mechanics, even focusing on driving a car with an automatic transmission in the future. My advice is related to the following reasons:

1. It is better to have full rights without restrictions;
2. Mechanics allows you to better understand some aspects of the car's functioning. It's easier to control on the machine speed mode(“Feel the speed”) and the situation on the road in general. Accordingly, it is beneficial to have experience in driving cars. different types... This will help to develop safe driving skills more easily;
3. There may be situations when you have to deal with mechanical box... For example, only such cars will be available for rent (in Moscow in September 2015 they launched the service short term rent with machines with a mechanical box);
4. Passing the exam, you will use 1-2 gears, only sometimes switching to 3, which is not so difficult;
5. The procedure for taking exams on the machine is not very well rolled, since there are significantly fewer people taking exams on the machine;
6. Learning on the machine is more expensive.

You need to understand that automatic transmission does not replace mechanical. While most cars in the United States are sold with automatic transmission, in Europe the situation is the opposite - the vast majority of motorists choose a manual transmission. Approximately the same number of cars of two types are sold in Russia.

Driving licenses for automatic transmissions have some peculiarities, a corresponding mark is put in the VU - in section 14 "Restrictions" the designation "AT" will be put - driving only a car with an "automatic".

If in the future you decide to change from automatic transmission to mechanics, then you will have to undergo training at a driving school and take the exam again at the traffic police. To improve qualifications with automatic transmission on manual transmissions, in some REO traffic police, you need to pass only the autodrome site, in some all three stages of the exam.

So my advice is to learn from mechanics (so as not to return to the question), if you feel that learning is not going at all, feel free to switch to learning on automation, it is much easier.

Usually the question is formed like this: - “Good afternoon, tell me, please, is it possible now to study and take on the machine. I just plan to drive a car with an automatic transmission and a mechanical one, I just don’t need it for nothing! What do you advise, what to do? " Actually, that's why I decided to write this article, understand the laws and advise what is still better and easier, well, let's go ...

I personally understand such reflections (after all, it is really difficult for beginners to study at a manual transmission), and I just do not understand many drivers (mechanics fans) who shout everywhere - that people who study at automatic transmission are just some kind of "underdeveloped personality"! GUYS what's the catch? It seems to me that we have a free country, and everyone should decide for themselves! I had a small argument with an ardent supporter of mechanical transmission - he convinced me that all the corporations were imposing on us so that the people would degrade! Money is being pulled out of us. But on the "handle" people at least somehow think. Although he himself had an IPHONE! I told him - look at your phone just for THIS TRACK, 90% of the functions of which you do not use, but stupidly bought for the sake of PONTS, you are overpaying! JUST SAVE HOW MUCH! But the automatic transmission, in the city it is really convenient and great. I have been driving for 18 years and no one can suspect me of "underdevelopment", personally, I myself can perfectly drive both manual and automatic transmissions, and now I ride on the machine. I LIKE TOO! All because in traffic jams, at traffic lights, and other delights of the city, the automatic transmission is much easier to perceive. Also, my wife is a novice driver, she went both to mechanics and on the machine, now she does not want to switch from automatic transmission, there is no need to "steam" with the clutch and create emergency situations.

In general, to each his own, it is not necessary to offend people who want to learn on the machine, this is their right, and BEFORE blaming someone for degradation, you need to look at yourself from the outside.

Is it possible to study with automatic transmission?

Guys, according to the law, of course, you can still in 2013, in Russia you can officially study and pass the rights to automatic transmission, here is a small extract from Federal law on road safety (dated November 5, 2013):

Exams are taken on vehicles with a manual or automatic transmission.

Persons who have passed exams on vehicles with mechanical transmission, the right to manage is granted vehicles corresponding category or subcategory with any type of transmission.

Persons who have passed the exams for vehicles with automatic transmission are granted the right to drive vehicles of the corresponding category or subcategory only with automatic transmission.

That is, if you paraphrase the law, it turns out that you pass on the "mechanics" - you ride any car with automatic transmission and manual transmission. But if you pass on the "automatic" - then you ride only with automatic transmission, it is logical! But the majority of people who go to such training just like that and intend to do so, what's wrong with that.

That is, the law is not our enemy, but why are there so few schools that teach on automatic transmission? What reason? She's trivial

Why don't many schools teach automatically?

This question is also very popular, many of my readers complain that it is impossible to find schools even in the capital regions (I am already silent about the periphery) - which are taught on automatic transmission! But why?

Yes, everything is simple, because the rules for delivery and training on such a transmission are not indicated. That is, there is a law, you CAN take it! But how to study and how to take your exam - NO REGULATIONS! Here is such a paradox. Accordingly, many schools follow the path of least resistance, they teach you about mechanics, and the epithets are “this is better”, “it will come in handy in life”. What kind of life? YES, and why is it needed? It's just that if you come to school, you are a potential student, and a student is money that no one wants to lose - so think for yourself.

Studied mechanics - handed over on the machine

This is also common, many of my readers are indignant, quarreling with schools, almost suing! But they do not achieve anything. Guys, read the paragraph above - I repeat once again, you can take it, but no one knows how to teach you, there are simply no regulations. Therefore, do not sue, the school will "say" that it considered it right to teach you so and WILL BE RIGHT! She didn't break anything. After all, you indicated that you want to learn from the automatic transmission from the very beginning.

It happens that even the site is rented out on the mechanics - an overpass, a garage, a snake and other elements. But the city is already on the automatic transmission. In the city, after all, knowledge of rebuilding, traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, and this can be done on any transmission.

Therefore, often people learn from mechanics, and hand over on the machine, although it is better to pass on the manual transmission, so you can move on two transmissions (and suddenly you really need it).

So if there are normal schools?

You know, most likely there is, I didn't even bother to find them on the Internet. Most likely, of course, there is, nevertheless, the way of learning and delivery itself begins to change. Personally, in my environment, even in our provincial city, I heard from two people that they studied and passed it on automatic transmission. This means it is possible, although you need to look for a school, and I think the cost will be more expensive, because everyone else will study at the manual transmission, and you end up like a "white crow".

Although if the school has such a class and such training, it speaks of the professionalism and class of the educational institution, that all programs are provided, and not banal "pen" and that's it.

TOTAL

Should I learn from mechanics or from the machine? The guys know how difficult it is for many now to study and pass on a manual transmission. Especially for girls who cannot rent a playground or a city several times, they simply “go deaf”. BUT finding a school on an automatic transmission is now even more difficult, because it may be trivial to study at a manual transmission - handing over a site to a manual transmission, but the city of automatic transmission and everyone gives you a category with a mark only on the machine, which I think is not correct.

Therefore, it is in this year that it is advisable to study on the "handle" and "grip", no matter how you want it, get full rights, they will also cost less, because everyone learns this way. BUT I think that in a few years, let's say in 2 - 3, another parallel program will fully work, which will only teach on automatic transmission, which is what many now want.

Now is my first lesson in driving an automatic transmission, you may find it useful

And that's all for me, read our AUTOBLOG.

Recently, the option of driving a car with an automatic transmission has become available in the driving courses. Of course, you can learn, but what about the passing of the exam in the traffic police? There are cars with manual transmission! It is impossible to feel the operation of a manual gearbox without ever using it. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you undergo training on the "mechanics", because after that the "machine" will become even clearer. It's easier to go from difficult to easy.

How does an automatic transmission differ from a manual transmission?

Since 2013, passing exams on the “automatic” is possible, but you get a license with a mark about the inability to drive cars with a manual transmission. it perfect option for those who plan to drive appropriate cars. But, on the other hand, knowing the revs, mechanisms and clutch never hurts. The ability to drive "mechanics" gives confidence to the driver.

You may meet a car with automatic clutch when there is no clutch pedal, but there is a special handle. When switching from gear to gear, the car will squeeze the clutch itself - this is convenient.

It also happens sequential switching when you can lower or increase the engaged gear with your hands. This is one of the modifications of the automatic transmission. You can see “+” or “-” signs on the lever.

Features of learning to drive on the machine

Still, automatic transmission radically different from mechanical. Before signing up for a driving instructor in a car with automatic transmission, it is worth weighing the pros and cons. The benefits include:

  • convenience of automatic transmission in a city traffic jam, because it will do everything for you;
  • the car will not stall, as in case of incorrect gear shifting on the "mechanics";
  • fewer movements are performed, no need to be distracted;
  • when driving over a hill, the car will not roll backward, as during a gear change.

There are also disadvantages to the "machine":

  • Braking with a motor is not as effective as with a gearbox. Sometimes this method helps to avoid an accident.
  • Switching on "automatic" may not be fast enough, as desired. There are times when the automatic transmission, which does not have the intelligence of the driver, turned on the fifth speed down the hill - and this is at 30 km / h.

Whether to listen to advice is up to you. But it is better to study on a manual transmission, and to drive on an automatic transmission.
