Regulations for changing the oil in the internal combustion engine

Experienced motorists and experts recommend changing the oil in the Audi A6 C5 engine every 10-15 thousand km. If there is old oil in the engine, as well as a systematic refusal to replace it, you will have to face serious consequences. Let's consider some of them:

  • The oil becomes obsolete, and its lubricating and protective properties become unusable, which leads to an increase in the effect of dry friction of moving parts that interact with each other. As a result, the load on the engine is increased, which in the worst case can knock. It will lead to the inevitability overhaul. The engine resource is reduced to the limit, because of which it will be necessary to raise the issue of replacing the engine or selling the car for spare parts. In less advanced cases, the owner will face increased consumption fuel and internal combustion engine overheating
  • Outdated used oil removes heat much worse, engine parts overheat, heat up and melt
  • Reduced corrosion protection
  • Wear products and other dirt deposits accumulate in the engine, they become more and more in the oil channels, which become clogged, which leads to the inevitability of a major overhaul.

Buy original oil Audi 5W30

Lubrication reduces friction between the mating surfaces of engine parts (cylinders, piston, camshaft). In addition, the working fluid contributes fuel economy and increase the efficiency of the engine. To extend the life of the power unit, you need buy original butter Audi 5W30 and replace it regularly. Part numbers branded products - G055195M4 And G055195M2.

Lubricant change

The fact is that there are lubricating components in the technical fluid that accumulate sediments, as well as combustion and friction products. Thus, the lubricant naturally becomes contaminated during the operation of the machine. Even the most expensive and high-quality product eventually loses its original characteristics and needs to be replaced.

You need to update the fluid regularly. Pour fresh branded oil it is necessary at intervals prescribed in the vehicle's instructions and developed by German specialists, taking into account the peculiarities of the engine and operating conditions. At the same time, a new filter is installed during maintenance.
