First, we check if the fuse Ef19 (10A) is intact, since it is through it that voltage is supplied from terminal 30 of the ignition switch to terminal 30 of the dipped beam relay. And after the contacts of this relay are closed, from its terminal 87, the voltage is supplied to the fuses Ef11 and Ef12, through the low-beam, high-beam steering switch.

This relay may not work for two reasons: either voltage was not supplied to its terminal 85 from the light switch, which should be set to the second position, or the movable contact has broken, which does not close contacts 30 and 87. In the first case, you will have to check the condition of fuse F2 located in the mounting block in the passenger compartment on the left sidewall in the area of ​​the passenger's feet and the light switch. In the second case, the dipped beam relay will have to be replaced.

Often the reason that Lanos grabbed and stalled are sensors and regulators. So, it is worth checking all the meters that affect the starting of the motor and its normal functional operation. Namely:

  • Coolant temperature sensor.

To eliminate the malfunction, you will have to connect to the ECU and carry out computer diagnostics... Surely errors have accumulated that block the normal operation of the entire system.

    If the Chevrolet Lanos does not start, the check does not light, there is no spark, it seizes, but does not start, then malfunctions may lie in three interconnected systems - air supply, fuel and spark.
