Water transfer pump can be used for garden irrigation, emergency water supply, drainage of reservoirs or flooded basements. This nozzle is a simple centrifugal pump equipped with a saw bracket and a pulley that drives the pump turbines.

To ensure the movement of 20 km / h, it is enough to install on the boat a home-made outboard motor with a gearbox (gear ratio 2: 1) and a 3-blade propeller with a diameter of 210 mm. In this case, the fuel consumption will be only 1 liter per hour of engine operation.


Motor cultivator almost everyone can assemble from a chainsaw. This requires a transmission system (2 gears). With its help, the energy of the motor is transferred to the drive wheel, thanks to which the working mechanism is set in motion. Of course, such a cultivator is of little use for cultivating a huge field, but its power is quite enough for a personal plot.

Chainsaw moped... For such a vehicle, you will need a base, for example, an old bicycle. A chainsaw motor is attached to its frame. As a rule, a gear transmission is used on such a vehicle. If a mountain bike is used for conversion, then a gearbox will be needed to control the speed of movement.

Homemade chainsaw snowmobile by its design, it is a little more complicated than a sawmill. A snowmobile consists of a frame, engine, track and steering. He also needs runners to move. To create it, you need to take out the gas and the clutch on the steering wheel. You should also consider a shock-absorbing suspension system for the carrier frame. Can be done by people familiar with blacksmithing. To do this, first of all, the old chains are divided into pieces, which are then welded into blanks. They are heated in a crucible to 850 ° C. Chainsaw as the basis of a boat motor

System boat engine quite simple, but in order to eliminate unnecessary costs for an expensive option, you can always equip an easy-to-operate outboard motor from a chainsaw.

Ease of installation lies primarily in the absence of a transmission. All that is required to install the motor from the saw to the boat is to connect the boat's propeller to the engine by installing a special adapter designed to transmit torque.

It is realistic to build a chainsaw based on the engine, but here the design will come out more complicated. The frame of the mechanism needs to be equipped with a suspension with shock absorbers, as well as to equip the device with a clutch.

An ordinary bicycle steering wheel can act as a control mechanism, it is only important to equip it for the movement of a snowmobile. In addition, it is important to be careful about torque delivery, as the lack of a gearbox means that the vehicle can only move with a properly mounted clutch.

Creating a walk-behind tractor from a gasoline saw

A walk-behind tractor is an irreplaceable device in agriculture. But factory equipment is not cheap, so a good and inexpensive option is to equip a walk-behind tractor from a chainsaw, where the latter mechanism acts as a power unit.

Power is enough to use the vehicle on the farm. Little fuel is required to work, and the assembly process is not complicated at all.

For the frame of such a walk-behind tractor, pipes that are welded according to the type of rectangular section should be used. The second outboard motor is made from a chainsaw. The author took two gearboxes from the Druzhba chainsaw, fuel tank from petrol cutters and the engine itself from the Ural chainsaw. The design here is much simpler than in the first version due to the fact that only the engine from the chainsaw is used, and not the whole saw. The power of the Ural chainsaw is 5 Horse power quite enough for normal use as a full-fledged boat engine. The only point that I would like to note is the installation of a more advanced silencer would not be superfluous.

Chainsaw ice screw


This ice screw is made on the basis of the most popular chainsaw - Stihl MS 180. Its device is very simple - a screw, articulated with a shaft. The shaft goes to the gearbox, which is connected to the chain saw drive sprocket. There is also an additional handle on the chainsaw mount for ease of use.It is worth noting that for the normal functioning of the ice screw and reducing the load, it is worth using a gearbox with a reduction ratio of about 5: 1, - 7: 1. This will make the chainsaw ice screw more reliable and convenient to use. If you want to make a motor-drill, then it should be borne in mind that, unlike ice, there can be stones, metal and other troubles in the soil. This means the need to install a more powerful engine (that is, more powerful chainsaws) and a stronger gearbox.

The first use of a chainsaw from the point of view of many developers is to dissolve logs with its help. So that the cut does not go away from the desired line to the side, they came up with the idea of ​​rigidly fixing the chainsaw in the frame, which moves along the guides.

Chainsaw-winter transport

They managed to use the chainsaw as an engine for homemade snowmobile... Here the design is much more complicated than a sawmill. In this case, in addition to making the snowmobile frame, you will need to make a suspension with shock absorbers, to conduct gas and clutch control to the steering wheel.

In addition, you will need to find the drawings (or design yourself), according to which the snowmobile caterpillar will be made, and think over the transfer of torque from the chainsaw to the caterpillar. They put on such a snowmobile centrifugal clutch with a chain and a V-ribbed belt (after all, the chainsaw does not have its own transmission). In order to increase traction on the drive shaft of the caterpillar, a gear with a diameter larger than the drive sprocket of the chainsaw (the so-called "traction gear") is installed.

For the steering gear, as a rule, they take the handlebars from the scooter and bicycle and redo it without problems so that it turns the skis of the snowmobile. Such transport requires an engine with a capacity of at least five horsepower, so if you are making a snowmobile, then use the Ural chainsaw.

If we consider transport for the winter, it is much simpler than a snowmobile, the design of a snowmobile. In them, a large propeller is attached directly to the shaft of the rear-mounted chainsaw. True, the low power of the chainsaw limits the passability of such sledges with ice on the river or a rolled road. For racing on snowy fields, you need an engine of at least 12 horsepower. The same restrictions do not allow replenishing homemade products from a chainsaw with a backpack helicopter. Unless, if you use two motors and the master manages to make them work in concert.

Homemade chainsaw - the engine is great

For such a snowblower, they take galvanized steel for the manufacture of a fence, blades are made of thick cord rubber, and an ordinary plastic sewer pipe will serve as a snow thrower.

Chainsaw-based helicopter

Although many inventors are looking for ways to make a small, single-seat helicopter based on a chainsaw, it still lacks the power to fly. As shown by engineering calculations, a mini-helicopter needs at least four forced chainsaws that work in concert and with an increased number of revolutions.
