I welcome everyone!

2.5 years have passed since the ownership of Meriva V. We are skipping along the Petrozavodsk off-road, respectively, and the results. More on this later, the car performs its duties clearly, but there are malfunctions.

Passed 2 maintenance at a cost like an aircraft of 11 thousand and 10500, it's just pi ..., for the entire period of operation, almost half of the front suspension was changed, and it all started with a knock on the steering column and with each call I changed the ball, etc. , left per. shock absorber, left-hand tip, until you see it steering column in which some bolts loosened. And finally, the problem seemed to be solved, but not completely. Constantly something clicks in the body where the door locks are located, this is not central locking, I can’t get to the bottom, they adjusted the left doors, they went down, after the temperature difference the alarm started shouting ... supposedly the door was not closed ... damn, after calling the officers, I had to warm up the car for 40 minutes so that the sensor that is responsible for this moved away, they are located at the bottom of the door. Periodically, it is constantly highlighted on the display that the right or left tailgate is off, you go out and slap on the headlight, it is on ... ... And I removed the headlights, I did not find jambs. it has become periodically buggy radio on one channel, broadcasting disappears, and in the cold one column also starts working, as it warms up over time, all the others are connected. The windshield is very soft, everything is already scratched, maybe that's why it's not yet broken by stones flying out from under other cars. Yes, friends, do not put your own mud flaps back, paying 2200 and 500 rubles for them for installation after a while I tore them off, moving forward, they are long and plastic, complete shit, only the bumper has scratched the blessing. universal and put, which I did, they are shorter and rubber, but believe me there is no sense from them, the car was thrown from behind and threw it. … Damn it is offensive. Burst the trim under the seal in front of the front passenger door near the dashboard. From every MOT to MOT, I have to add oil in Skoda, I did not have this. In general, so far something like that. Although for 2013. in Germany, this model turned out to be the most reliable among cars for 3 years of operation, maybe it was so horrible to me. In the previous review I wrote about the rattling of the air filter casing .... the officials sent me to GM too, there is a rattle in the frost, but it is not a defect.

Review of Opel Meriva 1.4 (Opel Meriva) 2012

Greetings to everyone on the pages of my review about Olya. That is how I named my new four-wheeled friend, or rather girlfriend.

There was practically no agony of choice. I wanted something compact for the city, universal and fit into my money. Only my preferences were taken into account, because on it I will only move on the roads. Also, an important factor was the banal like - I do not like it, the internal dimensions of the car and the budget, tk. money has the property of “not enough again”. The brand did not play a role, since I have no bias towards this or that brand. After inspecting the used car market, I wanted a new car. First of all, I went to the salon of my native Korean manufacturers. For I like Kia-Soul. The manager killed - the quotas for Russia were cut, the cars - only what is available (top versions) or on order, but waiting at least until mid-autumn is not a fact. I watched Solaris, especially the hatch, I kind of like it, but again in stock for 706 tr, while others order under a contract after 10 months. I would have known that in two weeks I would see Duster on the machine, I would have waited with the purchase, but I was tired of sharing one car with my wife (her glasses are in the eyeglass case and this is the most annoying thing!) And the patience was at the limit. Hatch B-class always liked, looked Fabia, then Korsu, new Aveo. Somehow the soul did not lay down, although the cars are really good. And suddenly, in one of the salons, a manager, recognizing my "ceiling", offered me HER, which had just come from the central warehouse. Maybe not love at first sight, but I liked Olya, and after sitting inside I already knew for sure that I wanted her. It's good when you know exactly what you want. Especially when money is close. No, Meriva is not my dream car, but at this stage of my life it is what I need. The test drive confirmed my assumptions, the car is easy to handle and easy to operate in the city (on the test drive there was a 140 hp engine, for which, alas, I didn’t accumulate an additional 100 thousand). Having opened a website with technical characteristics, I thought for a long time whether I would forgive her that very long acceleration at 101 hp. Or maybe I will not forgive, but I will get used to it. And she will rarely see the tracks, the Sportage still remains, so if you go somewhere far, then on it. Day of reflection and here it happened. She became mine.

I took what was in stock from the stock. Options Essence 1.4 liters, mechanics, 101 hp, Essence package (air conditioning + heated seats). All this is a pleasure for an incomplete 630 tr. Pleasant to the eye price of 599 tr. - without the Essence package that is needed at our latitudes. How people buy a car without air conditioning and heated seats is beyond my head. And if you can still throw heating on the seat, then the condo is another problem. I am glad that ABS and ESP are already in the database, as well as a variable-force power steering and electric parking brake button in the area of the gearshift lever. I think this is a sufficient minimum for basic configuration any car. I know that our fathers and grandfathers rode carts and self-run carts, but they had no idea about the technologies of our time, and there should be comfort and safety.

Strengths:

  • Appearance
  • Practicality
  • Versatility as much as possible within the B-class
  • Ease of use
  • Comfort inside the cabin
  • Console
  • Clearance
  • Equipment

Weak sides:

  • Weak engine in the initial configuration
  • Dealers work

Review of Opel Meriva 1.4 Turbo (Opel Meriva) 2011

Good day to all. I know that now many people will throw tomatoes at them, they say the mileage is penny, the operating experience is too small, etc., but I want to say right away why I decided to write this review right now and why the information in it can be useful. The main reason is that there are only two reviews about the new measure, and there are very few cars on the roads, so information about operation and first impressions can only be found on a couple of forums, but there is not much of it, which is why it is quite valuable and can be help someone in choosing. It turned out a lot of letters, because this car has something to write about))))

Before that, I drove a VAZ 2104 for almost 5 years, but there is no way to compare these cars, so either I will just share my comments, or compare with the cars I have driven, or compare with what I read in reviews of other cars.

A new car has been covered for a month, during which we have driven 5000 km, of which about 600 km on the road from Moscow to Kursk (the car was taken in Moscow).

Strengths:

  • Exterior (window line, headlights, doors)
  • Powerful economical engine + six gearbox stages
  • Seat in the cabin, flexibility of transformations
  • Controllability
  • Noise isolation
  • Visibility
  • Safety (ABS, ESP in the base + 6 PB in my configuration)

Weak sides:

  • Clutch pedal is not very convenient
  • Absence of a normal bookmaker in the database
  • Center armrest rails eat up the back seat
  • Small glove compartment
  • 1.4T does not get along with wheels smaller than R16

Review of Opel Meriva 1.4 (Opel Meriva) 2011

I welcome everyone!

Finally sat down to write a review about my new car - opel meriva. I don't even want to tell you how I bought a car, I think that many here have tasted the sweetness of buying a car from officials, I mean sweetness in quotes! The purchase turned out to be spontaneous and it was necessary to give your car in exchange for a new one and take a small loan for an additional payment, because there was no time to sell it myself. I took advantage of the trade-in, but in Russia it is called differently, it's a pity that you can't use foul language here! Considered two cars - Citroen C3 Picasso and Roomster. I was completely satisfied with the equipment of the roomster, in 650 thousand there was everything, the car had to wait for 4 months, although they gave me a good amount in Skoda for my car, but wait ... there is no patience. Then I looked at the citra in the VITAMIN configuration for 630 thousand, but 17 wheels put an end to it, because the spike costs a lot of money, and there was some kind of smell in the cabin, like from a Chinese children's toy (no offense, the owners of the c3 picasso), maybe just there was such a car.

In general, at that time they had already brought the first measure to our city, which I did not even dream of, because the amount no longer fit into the family budget - 670 thousand! After a family council and a week of hassle with trade in and talking with the manager in the Opel salon, I became the proud owner of a new Meriva. She won everything over her competitors. The most important thing is safety, pillows in a circle and a bunch of all sorts of systems for safe driving, a separate climate, interior dimensions, and most importantly, the rear doors that open almost 90 degrees in the opposite direction, not in all cars, which makes it easier to get in and disembarking and loading the baby into a chair, but the fact that the salon there can be transformed in any way is understandable. Of course I was disappointed with how the muzzle of the car was assembled, the gaps are different everywhere, I immediately remembered my dvenashka, which I drove 5 years ago. Damn, this is a completely different car, and so messed up.

I bought a car of Spanish assembly with gasoline engine 1.4 l in the spring of 2008. I immediately liked the car with its modern shapes and excellent layout, it has a wonderful quality for me - small on the outside and relatively large on the inside. The handling is easy without any problems, the road keeps excellent in any speed range, although I try to keep the speed no more than 110 km / h. It is up to this speed that the car has normal dynamics, and if you drive no more than a hundred, then the consumption of gasoline along the highway does not differ from that stated in the technical documentation.

The gearshift knob stands where it is needed, and is so light that it seems that you move the air rather than gears. Comfortable seats, perfectly located controls, there are no frills on the panel, you can safely sit in the cabin without bending or taking unnatural postures, which is not always possible in larger cars. A radio tape recorder without unnecessary bells and whistles, convenient control from the steering wheel and from the panel, sounding quite corresponding to the class of the car. Driving, as well as driving in it, is easy and pleasant.

Now about the disadvantages: of course, as in all cars of a similar layout, this is a "left pillar" (poor visibility), creaking on rough terrain and bumps backdoor, and minor factory flaws - a light bulb in the right rear fog lamp is not installed, there is not even an armature in the right lamp shade reverse, the AV input on the radio tape recorder does not work. If the valiant car service workers somehow coped with the bulbs and fittings (for a fee, of course), then it turned out to be beyond their strength to cope with the radio tape recorder, the AV input did not work and does not work. Well, service - read oil and filter change and nothing more, this is a separate conversation.

I, hoping for warranty service, dragged my thousands to this service (service station, Auto Center, the city of Nizhny Novgorod) and drove the car, thinking that someone was doing it there (at the same time, I, like all car owners, diligently tried to push out of the working area). As a result, after the end of the warranty, the "emergency oil pressure" light blinked.

Since the warranty is over, I myself decided to find out what was the matter. The oil in the engine was by this time about 9.5t.km, and I, thinking that it simply lost its characteristics, cursing the station of those. servicing, I decided to replace it together with the filter element. My surprise knew no bounds when I took out the paper filter element, all squeezed inward, and with an 8-10mm hole in the filter layer. How this could happen, one can only guess - perhaps the repairman did not get into the seats, and when the lid was closed, the excess paper kicked out, when the engine was started, the oil flow squeezed out all the excess paper inside.

But I can't even think of how the hole appeared, I could not break it through with pressure, there is a bypass valve. Taking into account the fact that I was diligently driven from the place of work, bad suspicions appear in my head. It is possible that the filter element was simply "forgotten" to replace, but the appearance of the hole is still not explainable without a version of deliberate damage. Damage in the parking lot, revenge, hooliganism are simply out of the question, the car is equipped with a decent alarm and stands in the courtyard of a private house under constant supervision.

Changing the oil and filter, of course, did not add pressure to the oil system. As a result, we have what we have - a car with a mileage of 39500 km, and a half-screwed engine (how exactly - an autopsy will show).

A little about myself: I am a mechanical engineer, from 95 to 98. worked as a technical director in a fairly large company that traded cars, therefore, I am not familiar with the problems of warranty and technical service by hearsay. How the host had all types domestic cars, starting with Zaporozhets, but about Zaporozhets, I can't remember a case of 39500 km run before repair. There was a similar case with a two-liter Rover, but they were not serviced at the station, and the car was parked where necessary.

I can't rate a car apart from service, but complete with service on a five-point scale, the assessment is only one !!!

Now advice to buyers: “I will not say for all the stations (although judging by the reviews, they seem to be all the same), but run from the aforementioned one, then maybe warranty service You don't need it. "

I would like to give advice not to buyers, but to the Russian representatives of the company: “Take a close look at how Maintenance at your stations, read the book of complaints, the damage that this attitude does to the company's image is very great. "

Opel-Meriva-1,4T-AT, from 702,000 rubles, CAR from 6.82 rubles / km

An amazing thing - being an absolutely niche car, the compact MPV "Meriva" nevertheless was able to prove its worth, having converted the proper number of fans into its faith. And, I must admit, I also breathed unevenly towards this talented car, which fascinated me not so much with a vigorous 1.4-liter turbo engine and swing doors a la Rolls-Royce, as with unexpectedly good cross-country ability. I remember that once, in a cold winter season, the Opel deftly climbed onto a snowdrift that was beyond the control of the neighboring front-wheel drive Qashqai. Only now the Germans initially prescribed an "automatic" exclusively for an expensive diesel engine.

There are tides for the grip on the steering wheel on all versions, but the leather on it and a sliding box-armrest - only starting with the "Active"

The promised one had to wait almost three years. But it was worth it! Until now, I have only driven the "manual" version, and as soon as I was driving a "Meriva" with an "automatic", I immediately began to place it in the already established coordinate system. "Opel" clearly began to react more calmly to the gas pedal: where the 1.4T "on the arm" intended to slip into a slip, the car hobbled by the "automatic" machine picks up speed less aggressively. And a pick-up caused by the exit of the turbine into the zone effective revolutions, here it is felt not so clearly. In general, it is more convenient to control the acceleration of the "two-pedal" petrol "Meriva": the car is not so demanding on the revs and more willingly follows the right pedal in the middle of its travel.

Smooth floor and high ceiling will allow you to transport up to one and a half cubic meters of payload

From the turbo engine, paired with the automatic transmission, the Germans drove out two dozen "horses", and in specifications entered a couple of extra seconds. However, the "Meriva" retained good spirits, and the manual mode of the 6-speed gearbox may be needed only in those cases when you need to immediately access all the engine's capabilities: by maintaining the crankshaft rotation speed in the range of 2-4 thousand rpm, you will always have the maximum traction.

In the process of grinding in to the car, I caught myself thinking that I began to drive quickly, but smoothly. And this driving style has a very beneficial effect on fuel consumption: the "automatic" compact MPV is no more gluttonous than the "manual" version, although on paper it should consume 1.3 liters more.

Otherwise, it is still the same "Meriva" - a compact outside, but spacious inside a car with impressive transformation capabilities, a decent trunk, excellent visibility and rather sharp handling, which I personally would gladly use for my everyday travels.

Finally - two news. I'll start with the good one: the “automatic machine” costs only 25,000 rubles. There are no machines on our market that could be automated for that kind of money! And the second piece of news (the one that is worse), alas, is banal to the point of indecency: since its debut, "Meriva" has risen in price by 36 thousand rubles. Most affordable car with a modest 100-horsepower 1.4-liter engine in the basic version "Joy" will cost 625,000 rubles. The engine of the same volume, but fed by a turbocharger and supplemented with an "automatic", is 77 thousand more expensive. The car in the "Design Edition" version, which you see in the photo, is even more expensive - from 790,000 rubles. Well at least there is no less sensible, but at the same time more available equipment"Asset" for 756,000 rubles. And this, at the present time, is not so exorbitant money for a nimble, comfortable and extremely non-trivial European car.

Good geometric cross-country ability allows parking not only along the curbs, but also on them

We decided:

"Automatic", which was finally married with a gasoline engine, made the "Meriva" much more convenient. It is gratifying that the surcharge for such an obvious benefit as the AKP turned out to be more than modest.

Plastic does not rub off well, only wash and take a very long time. On small bumps the car is tough. Fuel consumption is much more than declared by 2-3 liters. At engine speeds of 2700-2800 rpm, the decrease in engine power appears to freeze. Then, as the revs increase, the power increases dramatically. I contacted the station on this issue, but they could not do anything, they said: "What did you want? The 1.4 engine is rather weak." Most likely they themselves do not know what to do. There are no specialists. It is better not to put too much on the jack that comes with the machine. rear wheels and alone - a killer machine. When one wheel is lifted, the other is also lifted. The machine does not move forward or backward from the jack, but to the right or left. One needs to lift and change the wheel, while the other two watch and hold the car so that it does not fall off the jack. I changed the wheel - the threshold was hushed up. After pre-sale preparation at the Avtofan showroom in Togliatti, the Continental tires were changed to Goodyear. When the wheels were first removed, it was not for the first season of replacing tires, but for the next, I found a torn thread on the bolt and hub front wheel... I turned to the station under a guarantee, they refused, they say we don't know anything, I ripped it off myself. Since 1989, I have never ridden studded tires. If not for the law, I would not have bought it. This means that I would not have unscrewed the wheels and did not know that the thread had been torn off at my service. The headlights do not divide the light into high and low beams very well. When you switch to high beam I want it to be a little higher. We have to raise the headlights. When you switch from the far to the near one, you blind the drivers, you have to lower the headlights. When you turn on one button for the direction of the air flow of the ventilation of the cabin up, down or in the middle, then for some reason the air conditioner turns on. Not convenient, but the "specialists" from the warranty service said: "This is how it should be." On Opel services, people are bred for money. They call in a year, they say it's time for your car to do a warranty MOT. I tell them, there are 4000 km on the speedometer of my car. what will you do? It’s too early to change. So you just take money? The "bastard" on the other side of the phone says that if the car is bought, then it must drive, otherwise we will deprive the guarantee. Dashed off 10,000 km came to the first MOT in a year and a half. They ask: "Will we change the cabin filter?" I ask: "How much will it cost?" The answer is: "Free". After MOT, where they only changed engine oil and greased the hinges for 6500 rubles. issued an invoice, where the cost of the filter is 1900 rubles. To my question, where did this price come from, they answered - it was a paper one for free, and we supplied you with a coal one. It will turn out without my consent. A cabin filter costs 200-300 rubles. , and sell for 1900 rubles. This is a broth. This is a divorce.

Owner reviews

The car is very good, before it was Meriva in an old body. I myself had a rule of 3 years and new car, but I don’t want to part with this one.

It was announced on order - for a machine gun, but with a machine gun there were only diesel engines. I took a chance and do not regret it, in terms of consumption - 5.8-7.2 liters. By the way, the PTS power is only 101 hp, but this is more than 160-170 km / h on a cruise, you don't notice any mountains, climbs, etc.

A flat floor in the back row - I removed one seat, put a mattress and the grandson in a sleeping state crossed the entire Urals - 835 km. The cruise and the climate are flawless, the transformation of the cabin is beyond praise.

There is no computer in the cabin, but over time I got used to it. For some reason, the second rubber bands on the doors were not glued, although old model were, hence the poor sound insulation and additional dirt on the thresholds, but this is our Avtotorovskaya assembly, I learned about it after buying a car (the old one was Spanish).

Leonid Surikov, review of the Opel Meriva 1.7D diesel automatic transmission 2011

Video review

Purchased in May 2011. At the moment, the mileage is 10,000 km. In May 2012, TO-1 was performed. There are no particular complaints about the car yet.

I would like to have drawers under the seats (they are not in my car), and the glove compartment in front of the passenger is symbolic, even the instructions in the corporate cover are difficult to fit.

I did not measure fuel consumption, and the BC on my car is underdeveloped, it only gives errors. The engine is 120 hp, quite high-torque, on the highway at 110 km / h - 2,500 rpm. In winter, I got warm pretty quickly. I can't call the suspension soft, especially on a crushed stone-slate surface, but it holds the road perfectly in turns.

Review of Opel Meriva B 1.4 (120 HP) automatic 2011

The seats are ergonomic with good lateral support. The rear visibility is excellent, the front, too, but the massive A-pillars interfere (a matter of habit). There were almost no problems with the car, the mileage was 84,000 km. The bulbs are off, I change the consumables according to the schedule to the ones recommended by the manufacturer.

A family of 4 people fits, but, of course, I want more space. A bunch of all sorts of boxes and niches in the cabin and trunk, at border inspections of cars, employees are always surprised. Good adaptive halogens and cornering lights. Economical, for 12,000 km on vacation, the average consumption was 7.5 liters (highway, field, mountains, city, etc.). In winter in the city, of course, the consumption rises sharply.

The ignition module is inconveniently implemented, all 4 coils are in one case, if at least one is covered, you will have to change the entire module. The same song with the recirculation valve poured into the valve cover, the valve dies - you change the entire cover.

Noise isolation is average, at first everything is fine, but then you get used to it and hear the turbine, the engine is on high revs and wheel arches.

Alexander, review of the Opel Meriva 1.4 mechanics 2012

Very well made modern German car. Memorable appearance. Running lights built into the main headlights in the corners - beautiful (they turn on when the engine is started). High seating like a crossover. Steering clear. Comfortable, adjustable front and rear seats.

The back does not get tired to the distant one. If you go back together, you can move the seats back and in the middle - it turns out very spacious, but, of course, by reducing the trunk. A trunk with many niches on the sides and a double bottom where you can cram a lot that does not need to be pulled out regularly.

It is convenient for rear passengers to get in and out, because swing doors and there is a handle on the middle pillar - perfect option for transportation of old people and small children. The door locks are blocked in motion and the "kinder" will not open them on the move.

Perfectly balanced suspension - moderately hard and moderately soft. The engine (turbine) picks up well - when overtaking you do not feel deprived of traction. A very nimble car for the claimed 120 mares. The 95th gasoline is recommended, but on the 92nd it feels no worse.

On the downside ... automatic transmission - sometimes you feel gear changes. Inconvenient to change cabin filter, although having done it yourself, I think there will be no problems with this. The front safety pillars are impressive and therefore obstruct the view a little, but you quickly get used to it.

The owner drives an Opel Meriva B 1.4 (120 hp) with an automatic transmission in 2013.

Salon. There is a lot of space, it is comfortable to sit everywhere, the driver's seat has a microlift, the backrest tilt is regulated by a lever on the side of the seat, and not a twist. The rear seats move longitudinally and transversely, allowing you to make a kind of armrest in the middle of the rear sofa. There are folding plastic tables in the backs of the rear seats, it is convenient to eat, they have already used them in long-distance vehicles. The seats are orthopedic, my back no longer hurts during trips, I no longer put a cushion under my lower back. The fabric of the seats is dark, dense, high quality. Warmers available.

The review is good, great windshield, I quickly got used to wide racks. The backward review is quite informative, when moving backward, the rear view camera is activated, the picture is colored, obstacles are clearly visible both during the day and at night.

Steering wheel. It is comfortable in the grip, covered with high-quality leather, the stitching is smooth and even. The steering wheel is heated, adjustable in two planes, from which you can control the cruise control, radio and answer phone calls.

Dual-zone climate control, works both in tandem with air conditioning, and without it. I set the desired interior temperature and forgot. In the heat, of course, you can't do without kondeya. We went to dalnyak in the summer, overboard +33, and in the cabin only +22!

Trunk. The trunk shelf is removable, in the trunk I drove to the landfill a full-size that has served its time washing machine Indesite, while rear seats did not move. There is a double floor in the trunk: on the lower floor there is a dock in a niche, a balloon and a jack.

The engine is turbocharged. The engine hums solidly and quietly when starting off smoothly and growls cheerfully during frisky acceleration. On 4-5-6 gear it is not audible. You can hear the rustling of tires, but it depends on the condition of the asphalt. At 3000 rpm, the speed is 130 km / h in 6th gear. Sound insulation of the motor is not bad. I will not make the car noisy anymore, all the same, music always plays on the go.

On the track, the speed is not felt, you go 120 km / h, but it seems that only 80. After running in, I drove along the highway for interest up to 170 km / h, I did not go further, the roads are not the same.

Six-speed gearbox, new development, as they write in Opel. Works silently and switches clearly. The suspension of Meriva is slightly softer than that of my previous car (Fabia) and, accordingly, the roll is a little more in sharp turns, and Meriva itself is a little higher. However, in corners it does not demolish, the handling on the move is excellent. Driving on forest roads and bumps is possible, but wisely at low speed and taking into account the clearance.

Review of Opel Meriva 1.4 (140 HP) manual transmission 2014

A lot fits into this car: a refrigerator Minsk, a grandmother with things in the country, an Ikea bed or a whole family in suitcases! Wherein driving performance will only grow, because the car pressed to the ground by the luggage becomes more stable and pleasant to drive.

I calmly climb into it from 175 cm in height, and there really is room for maneuver in adjusting the seat and steering wheel, and there are a lot of them: in height, in inclination, in steering wheel reach. But her turning radius is really bold, that is, you have to take care of this in advance when parking. Speaking of parking, the rear camera is better than parking sensors and much more informative.

Consumption. My Meriva spends 10 liters in winter, I only turn on the "warm up" and airflow. A large 54-liter gas tank helps out: if you drive every other day, you can refuel once every 2-3 weeks. It's comfortable.

Overview. The high seating position gives excellent visibility, however, due to the thick struts, it eats up a little (compared to the Kia Wenga), so there is really less air in the cabin. Thanks to the short nose of the car, even when it seems to you that you have just got used to the one in front, in fact it turns out that there is still enough space. In this case, the glass is located at a sufficient distance from the driver.

Side mirrors. If you are used to "mugs", then Meriva loses here. The mirrors are really small, and the amazing thing is that when folded, they protrude just as much as when unfolded, so you don't have to fold them when parking.

Rain and light sensor. Personally, they seemed to me not such a necessary thing, but, of course, it's nice with them: the car itself turns on the headlights when it gets dark and turns it off if it's light. It's great that after removing the key, the headlights go out automatically.

Reverse. It is unusual that no beeps are heard when driving backwards. This should be borne in mind, because at first you can really not notice.

Chassis. The suspension of Meriva, in my opinion, is quite balanced: it is moderately hard, but also moderately soft. On the 16th wheels, the steering is much more pleasant, on the 17th wheels.

Warmly. The car is really warm. That is, you can turn on the seat heating in the fall and not turn on anything else - it will be warm. The big disappointment was that the heated seat, when the engine is off, does not work, and the steering wheel heats up.
