Stuffed cabbage is a dish that harmoniously combines meat, rice, vegetables and sauce. According to the traditional recipe, minced meat with rice is wrapped in cabbage leaves, fried and baked in the oven or stewed in a deep frying pan or saucepan. However, not all housewives agree to spend time on the appropriate preparation of cabbage leaves. There is only one way out: make lazy cabbage rolls with minced meat. Of course, outwardly they will differ from real cabbage rolls, but they will not yield to their taste. But the hostess will save time and energy for other useful things.

  • From lean meat it is difficult to cook minced meat that is sufficiently viscous and dense to keep the shape given to it during baking or stewing. Therefore, it is preferable to take pork or mixed minced meat with the addition of pork.
  • Even an experienced chef cannot make something truly tasty out of low-quality products. Therefore, pay attention to the composition of minced meat, its category, date of manufacture and expiration date. It is even better to cook it yourself from meat, the quality of which you are sure.
  • It happens that the cabbage is slightly bitter. In this case, it must be chopped and put in hot water for 5 minutes, then removed and squeezed.
  • Rice for lazy cabbage rolls needs to be boiled until half cooked. Otherwise, it may not have time to cook and remain solid, which will not have the best effect on the taste of the finished dish.

Cooking method:

  • Finely chop the garlic cloves with a knife.
  • Peel the onion, cut into small cubes.
  • Grind carrots on a coarse grater.
  • Chop the dill with a knife, set aside half to decorate the dish when serving.
  • Wash the tomatoes, cut crosswise on the side opposite the stalk. Dip for a minute in boiling water. Remove with a slotted spoon and transfer to a bowl of cold water. Peel off the skin and cut into medium-sized slices or cubes.
  • Wash the cabbage, remove the sluggish leaves. Remove a few more sheets carefully and set aside. Chop the rest of the cabbage as finely as possible.
  • Put the cabbage in a saucepan, pouring a little oil into the bottom of it, salt, pepper, fry for 10 minutes, pour in a little water and simmer until half cooked.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan, put onion and garlic in it, after 5 minutes add carrots and dill, fry everything together for 5 minutes.
  • Add minced meat, pepper it and salt it, fry with vegetables for 10 minutes.
  • Add rice and a little water to the pan, simmer it with vegetables and minced meat under the lid for 5-10 minutes.
  • Grease the bottom of a large saucepan with oil, lay the reserved cabbage leaves. Put half of the cabbage on them, place minced meat with rice on top, cover with the remaining cabbage. Place the last layer of tomatoes.
  • Put the pan on a slow fire and simmer its contents for 40 minutes.

Lazy cabbage rolls in the oven

  • white cabbage - 1 kg;
  • minced meat - 1 kg;
  • onion - 100 g;
  • tomato paste - 100 g;
  • rice groats - 150 g;
  • garlic - 3 cloves;
  • carrots - 0.2 kg;
  • chicken egg - 2 pcs.;
  • sour cream - 0.5 l;
  • fresh herbs - 100 g;
  • vegetable oil - 50 ml;
  • salt, pepper - to taste.

Cooking method:

  • Peel the carrots and grate coarsely.
  • Free the onion from the husk, finely chop.
  • Shred the cabbage as finely as possible. Dip it in hot water for 5 minutes, remove it, let it drain and wring it out well.
  • Rice, washed, pour a glass of water and set to boil. When the liquid has almost completely evaporated, rinse the rice again.
  • Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan, put onions and carrots in it, fry them until soft.
  • Combine minced meat, cabbage, fried vegetables, rice boiled until half cooked in one container. Add eggs, salt and pepper.
  • Thoroughly knead the minced meat.
  • In the pan where the vegetables were fried, add oil, heat.
  • Shape the minced meat into oblong patties. Fry them on both sides until golden brown. This must be done on high heat.
  • Place the minced meat patties with cabbage and rice in a deep ovenproof dish.
  • Mix sour cream with tomato paste, squeeze garlic into it, add finely chopped greens. Salt and pepper.
  • Pour lazy cabbage rolls with tomato-sour cream sauce and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
  • Cook cabbage rolls in the oven for 40 minutes.

Arrange the finished cabbage rolls on plates, trying not to disturb their shape, pour over the sauce. You can add sour cream and fresh vegetables, although this is not necessary: ​​lazy cabbage rolls, like ordinary ones, are a complete dish.

Lazy cabbage rolls in a frying pan

  • sauerkraut - 0.6 kg;
  • minced meat - 0.5 kg;
  • onion - 100 g;
  • tomato juice - 0.75 l;
  • chicken egg - 2 pcs.;
  • sour cream - 100 ml;
  • rice - 150 g;
  • salt, spices - to taste;
  • vegetable oil - how much will it take.

Cooking method:

  • Rinse sauerkraut, squeeze and finely chop.
  • Cut the onion into cubes and fry in oil until golden brown.
  • Boil rice until half cooked.
  • Mix rice with minced meat, add onion, mix.
  • Beat eggs, mix with minced meat.
  • Salt and pepper the minced meat, knead it so that it becomes quite dense and viscous.
  • Form medium-sized cutlets, fry them on both sides in boiling oil.
  • Pour juice into the pan with cutlets, cover it with a lid.
  • Stew lazy cabbage rolls in tomato juice for half an hour.

Lazy cabbage rolls stewed in a pan with sour cream are served. You can sprinkle them with herbs.

Lazy cabbage rolls from minced chicken and cabbage in a slow cooker

  • minced chicken - 1 kg;
  • garlic - 3 cloves;
  • onion - 0.3 kg;
  • rice groats - 150 g;
  • cabbage - 0.4 kg;
  • chicken egg - 3 pcs.;
  • tomato paste - 75 g;
  • vegetable oil - 50 ml;
  • salt, spices - to taste;
  • water - 180 ml.

Cooking method:

  • Boil rice until half cooked.
  • Mix with minced meat, adding eggs and finely chopped onions to it. Don't forget to salt and pepper.
  • Chop the cabbage as finely as possible and mix it with minced meat.
  • Form the minced meat into round balls with a diameter of about 5 cm.
  • Pour oil into the multicooker bowl, activate the "Frying" or "Baking" program.
  • Put the lazy cabbage rolls in the boiling oil and fry them for 15 minutes, turning often.
  • Dilute the tomato paste with water, squeeze the garlic into it.
  • Pour the stuffed cabbage with this mixture. Run the multicooker in the "Extinguishing" mode for half an hour.

Serve minced chicken and cabbage rolls with sour cream sauce, squeezing some garlic into it.

Any housewife can easily cook lazy cabbage rolls. They taste a little different from traditional ones.

Lazy cabbage rolls in a pan - a step by step recipe

To prepare such lazy cabbage rolls in a pan with minced meat and rice, you must first boil the rice. Boil long grain rice until half cooked. Put it in a colander and rinse with cold water. Chop white cabbage into small pieces.

Grate carrots on a fine grater. Onion cut into small cubes. Put carrots, onions, minced meat and cabbage in a bowl with rice.

Season the base for lazy cabbage rolls with salt and spices. To prevent lazy cabbage rolls from falling apart during cooking and keeping their shape, beat in an egg.

Mix all ingredients until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Pour sunflower oil into a frying pan with a thick and refractory bottom. Put it on the stove and heat it up well. Form lazy cabbage rolls from minced meat with wet hands. Like cutlets, you can make them round or oval. Put them on the pan. Uncovered, fry them on one side.

Then turn over with a spatula to the other side.

Dissolve the tomato paste in cold water. For 100 gr. paste will take about one glass of water. Pour fried cabbage rolls with tomato sauce.

By the way, in tomato sauce you can add sour cream or cream. And if you want to get a spicier dish, then add finely chopped hot peppers chili or a pinch of red pepper. It will turn out very tasty too. Cover them with a lid. Turn the fire down to minimum. Extinguish for another 10 minutes. They are served, like classic cabbage rolls, hot, along with salads. Before serving, they can be sprinkled with fresh herbs. Enjoy your meal.

Today I cooked very lazy cabbage rolls. I just cut all the ingredients from this recipe into large chunks and passed through a meat grinder twice, even rice. I added fried onions so that half of them could be frozen and so that after defrosting, raw onions would not spoil the dish. Before, I just cut cabbage and doused it with boiling water, but today there was no time to mess around. Probably, this is a matter of taste, but such lazy cabbage rolls, in which the minced meat is brought almost to a homogeneous mass, were much more liked by me and my picky husband.
The only thing I will change in the future is that I will either sauté or blanch the carrot beforehand, because it crunched a little in all this tender mass, I want to fix it later.

And lazy cabbage rolls are just one of those dishes that do not take much time, they are easy to prepare, not very expensive in terms of products and are quite tasty. Of course, about the taste - everyone has their own tastes))) ... but my household likes it.

And in order to cheer myself up and you while cooking, I will dance)))

The set of products is standard:

  • Cabbage,
  • Carrot,
  • Ground meat,
  • Salt, pepper, bay leaf, seasonings and herbs to taste and stock from the refrigerator ...

How to cook lazy cabbage rolls quickly

If desired, you can add greens, sweet peppers, and, in general, anything to cabbage rolls))) because cabbage rolls are nothing more than stuffed leaves of a plant (in our case, cabbage) with a mixture of vegetables, minced meat and rice ... K In a word, you can do without minced meat ... Well, lazy cabbage rolls are all of the above, but mixed ...

For a family of 6, I take a quarter of a fairly large head of cabbage, one medium carrot and onion each, two 400-gram packs of minced meat, plus about a third of a pack of rice. All these products will turn into lazy cabbage rolls in a huge frying pan, but you can do this in a saucepan. And we also need a whole kettle of hot boiled water ...

I perform all the actions of cutting products in parallel with the preparation of the dish and do it very quickly. THOSE. In the following way:

I put a frying pan with a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil to warm up (on a small fire) on the stove (we make sure that the oil does not start to burn). At this time, at the pace of the waltz, cut the onion into cubes and send it to sauté in a frying pan. We grab a large grater in one hand, a carrot in the other, and here it is no longer a waltz, but a tap ...

We quickly rubbed it, and the carrot goes to the onion ...
If you have a little wilted greens, then it's time to add it to the onions and carrots. We mix everything with one hand ... waiting for the onions and carrots to change color and become more transparent ...

While I was dancing the twist, the minced meat in the pan was partially scalded, that is, it changed color, you can lay cabbage
Again, mix everything and under the lid - let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
During this time, the stuffing will be completely scalded, the cabbage will settle a little, and with smooth movements in the rhythm of the tango I will get bay leaves and allspice (peas) from the top shelf of the kitchen wall, and measure about 1/3 of a pack of rice (better less than more)

Open the lid, pour the rice into the pan and mix it with all the ingredients

Then pour the contents of the pan with hot water from the kettle so that the water covers a little, no more than a centimeter, a mixture of minced vegetables and rice.

There is also a couple of leaves of lavrushka, peppercorns, plus salt (we already salted minced meat, but not rice)))

Again, mix a little (only in order to evenly distribute the salt) and the whole thing, gas to the full ... Has it boiled? We turned off the gas and the pan under the lid - let it languish until the water is completely absorbed into the rice ...
Now you can relax or do something more interesting than cooking, for 15 minutes or just dance to your favorite rhythm.

But don't forget to keep an eye on the pan. There is a risk that the water will quickly be absorbed and evaporated and the cabbage rolls will start to burn. And this is not good. It is better to turn them off when there is still moisture in the bottom of the pan. If you cook in a saucepan, then after turning off the saucepan, you can remove it from the stove and wrap it up ... lazy cabbage rolls will reach themselves.

Time to table!
It doesn’t look very presentable, but it’s tasty and I’m not afraid to say that it’s healthy. Since practically nothing was fried in this dish, but more was boiled and stewed. And if such lazy cabbage rolls seem insipid to you, then you can always flavor them with ketchup, salted, pickled cucumber or, as we like, spicy red cabbage when serving.

  • rice cereal - 12 cups;
  • fresh cabbage- 320 grams;
  • carrots and onions - 1 each;
  • flour of the 1st grade - 1 spoon;
  • seasoning for meat - 3 grams;
  • vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons;
  • tomato paste - 2 tablespoons;
  • bay leaf - 1 piece;
  • salt and ground pepper - to taste;
  • chicken egg - 1 piece.

Cooking process:

  • The onion head is peeled and cut into small cubes, the carrots are peeled and cut into cubes.

  • A multicooker bowl is taken, two tablespoons of vegetable oil are poured into it, and then chopped vegetables are transferred. Tomato paste is added to the mixture, everything is mixed and set to the baking mode for ten minutes.

  • Half a glass of rice is boiled until half cooked and mixed with prepared minced meat, finely chopped cabbage is also sent there and one chicken egg is added. Salt, seasoning and ground pepper are added last, everything is mixed.

This is the simplest and fast option cooking lazy cabbage rolls. The composition includes only the most necessary ingredients, and the result is a delicate and fragrant dish.

Ingredients:

  • any kind of minced meat - 540 grams;
  • fresh cabbage - 310 grams;
  • salt and pepper - to taste;
  • onion - 1 piece;
  • rice groats - 120 grams;
  • vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons;
  • tomato paste - 3 tablespoons;
  • fat sour cream - 3 tablespoons;
  • water - 1 glass.

Cooking process:

  • The cabbage is cut into very small pieces, the same should be done with the onion head.
  • Vegetables are mixed in one container and poured with a small amount of boiling water, after which they are left to infuse for at least ten minutes. This process helps eliminate the bitter taste from cabbage and onions. Next, the water is drained and the vegetables are lightly squeezed to remove any remaining moisture.
  • Rice should be boiled until half cooked, as experienced chefs say, you can use not 120 grams of cereal, but only 2 tablespoons per half kilogram of minced meat, this will be enough.

  • Cabbage and onions are mixed with prepared minced meat, after which boiled rice is added to the mass. To the mixture add the required amount of salt and ground pepper.
  • Now, from the finished mass, blanks should be molded in the form of small cutlets, so that the modeling process is easier, you can slightly wet your hands with cold water. Cabbage rolls are sprinkled with breadcrumbs, and then fried in a pan in hot oil. There is no need to bring the dish to readiness, so the frying process is carried out on a strong flame.
