Of course, you can go to the store, unfasten about $ 50 or more, buy a new one and not fool yourself. But this is not our method!

So, let's take a Chinese MP3 player that reads flash drives and memory cards. There are a lot of options. The most important thing is that it has a headphone output. From there we will shoot an audio signal. A car FM transmitter with separate audio output can be used. Its advantage is that a remote control is included with the transmitter. remote control... We disassemble the player.

We disassemble the car radio and remove the CD drive or tape drive mechanism (who has what). Provided, of course, that they are not workers.

We solder the positive power wire of the MP3 player through the "KRENKA" to the contact of the car radio, on which, after turning it on, voltage appears (+12 or +9 V).

Don't forget the 12 to 5 V voltage converter. FM transmitters have a built-in voltage converter. In MP3 players it may not be present at all. You will figure it out in the place. In any case, it is better to use the LM7805 or the domestic analogue of the KR142EN5A.

After we figured out the power supply, we connect the sound. We take a shielded wire (this usually comes from the head of the tape drive) and connect the audio output of the MP3 player to the AUX input of the car radio. WHAT? There is no such thing? Then it's a little more complicated. We are looking for a preamplifier on the board (the same shielded wire from the head goes to it). We look at the brand of the microprocessor to find where its audio signal output is (Google to help you). We solder the separating electrolytic capacitors and send the audio signal from the player there.

Now we mount the MP3 player board into the car radio case. After removing the tape drive (or CD drive) there is plenty of room. The main thing is not to allow a short circuit.

We put the USB output on the front panel, in the hole where cassettes or discs were inserted.

We bring the player control buttons to the unused tape drive or CD drive control keys. There are only three of them - "play / stop", "next track" and "previous track". In the case of a cassette deck, opposite the button rods, we install suitable mini-keys.

Music player with the ability to view video files on the built-in (pull-out) monitor. Yesterday, such a car radio was an object of non-marketable desires (5-6 years ago), a symbol of luxury and designation passenger car- luxury class (complete set)!

Car radio with DVD and monitor

Today it is a common and quite affordable device for installation in a car of any brand. Manufacturers equip given type equipment with a large number of options and functions, as well as the ability to connect during further operation, various devices and devices. Some of the car radios are already equipped with such gadgets, and therefore are classified as multifunctional multimedia systems (MMC). In addition to differences in equipment, car turntables differ in their installation sizes:

  1. DIN radio tape recorders.
  2. DIN players.

These products are produced by almost all the world's leading brands in the field of radio electronics. But, due to the growing demand for car players with DVD and monitor, for example, from Pioneer, Prology and the like, models with the same name appeared on the market, made by no one knows who and where. For this reason, it is best to purchase equipment of this level from official dealers trademark (Pioneer, Prology). What to look for when buying

car radio with DVD monitor Pioneer (Sony, Prology), we will tell you in the final part of the article. And now let's make a short overview of the modern car player market, in particular the Pioneer and Plot companies.

Car radio with DVD Prology monitor

The latest devices from the manufacturer Prology are represented by multimedia systems in 1 and 2 DIN formats. They can play music and video files of formats JPEG, CD, DVD, MP3, MPEG 4, from any known media. Equipped with 6 and 7 inch, built-in and retractable, liquid crystal monitors. Additional equipment can be connected:

  • navigation system;
  • rear and side view cameras and so on.

The quality of the equipment from the Prology firm does not need to be introduced to customers for a long time.

Car radio with DVD Pioneer monitor (avh)

MMS Pioneer avh series, meet everyone technical requirements today, to ensure the most comfortable conditions for car owners when watching DVDs from discs, USB-devices, as well as listening to radio programs and music records. Pioneer avh car multimedia systems have:

Built-in or fully removable LCD display, measuring seven inches with touch control of radio functions.

The necessary connectors for connecting additional devices (iPhones, navigation, etc.).

That is, as we named a little earlier, the Prology equipment, the Pioneer equipment, is the embodiment in one device of all the achievements and innovative technologies in electronics and computer technology.

The impeccable reputation of the Pioneer brand deserves only exclamation marks.

Connecting car stereos Pioneer, Prology with DVD and monitor

There are three ways to connect a modern MMC with DVD and monitor, depending on the car.

The first way.

Modern car radio, connects to systems new car, by means of a special ISO-connector (detachable connection of the international standard). This type of connectors is used in all latest generation cars and car players.

The second installation method.

The car does not have an ISO connector (it is required in MMC). In this case, it must be purchased separately and the car wiring must be routed to junction box, according to the pinout for the given car model.

The third option.

It can be described as adventure. Connections are made by live stranding of wires with subsequent insulation. For exacerbation of extreme - isolation can be omitted.

In any case, the installation of a new car radio with DVD and monitor should be started after carefully studying the manufacturer's instructions supplied with the device.

Separate models of video and sound-reproducing equipment are initially produced for a specific car brand.

Setting up a standard MMC with the ability to view DVD and LCD monitor

Setting up both a standard head unit with a monitor and DVD, as well as a new, separate device, is detailed in the same operating instructions for the device. If you have any additional questions related to connecting and configuring individual functions and options.

You can apply for information to the direct manufacturer of the radio tape recorder via the Internet, as well as find information of interest in the numerous forums devoted to this issue. But this is as far as complex settings are concerned. The usual, standard settings of multimedia systems for a car are almost completely identical to the actions when working with mobile phone(iPad). And are produced on the touch screen of the device.

Criteria for choosing a car radio with DVD monitor

First of all, it is, of course, the cost of the device. But you should not think that a radio tape recorder with a DVD player and a screen costs a lot of money. For a quite acceptable amount today, you can purchase a device of decent quality.

Choosing MMS, you should pay attention to:

  • power of the device, rated and maximum.
  • total number of output channels (2 to 4).
  • linear inputs-outputs.
  • formats of readable information.
  • Availability additional equipment and similar technical details.

For women (and not only women), the external design of the front panel of the device will certainly be important.

The headrest with DVD and monitor increases the level of comfort in the cabin. If the trip takes place in the company with children, then it is also useful - they will be something to distract. It is not necessary to buy a special headrest, you can install the monitor in the existing one.

Headrests in the car - types and purpose

The headrest on the car seat creates an additional one, but its main purpose is not this. In cases of accidents when a blow from behind occurs, the most common injuries are fractures and dislocations of the cervical vertebrae, as well as craniocerebral. In any violent collision, hold the torso; if there are airbags, they will protect both the body and the head. However, only the headrest can protect from a backward jerk of the cervical vertebrae, leading to a fracture of the neck, with an uncontrolled throwing back of the head from an impact in the car from behind. This is why it is very important that the car has good head restraints, which must be set correctly. Modern head restraints are designed in such a way that, with correct adjustment, injury to the cervical vertebrae is practically excluded, and in all other cases is minimal.

By design, the head restraints are divided into two types. First: passive (non-adjustable) - fixed head restraints, they represent a solid extension of the seat or a removable bolted element.

Second: active (adjustable) - movable, are a combination of movable mechanical units working in conjunction with a special lever built into the seat. The latter is very sensitive to any pressure. On impact, the driver's back is pressed into the seat and the lever is triggered. As a result, the headrest automatically approaches the driver's head. As a result, the support lever is triggered until the neck experiences a throw-back jerk.

Pushed to the required height, even a passive headrest can significantly reduce the likelihood of neck injury, since the head rests against it with a sudden jerk of any force back.

Today, the modern car industry produces headrests that not only meet the standards of comfort and safety, but also with LCD monitors on the back. This allows you to create for passengers sitting on back seat, extra comfort during the trip. It is also very convenient when there are children in the car, since they can be occupied by watching a video and they will not distract the driver or annoy other passengers. In order not to spend money on purchasing such an expensive pleasure, you can install the monitor in the headrest with your own hands, and the disc player itself, if it is not built-in, can be placed in or on the front panel of the passenger compartment.

Preparing the car headrest for installing the monitor

Remove the headrest from the seat to make it easier to work with. Then, on its back side, it is necessary to make a markup of the future recess, designed to accommodate the monitor mounting basket. We mark the outline of the widest part of the basket, and inside it, with an indent of 2-3 cm, draw lines parallel to the sides of the marked perimeter of the basket. As a result, we get two rectangles.

On the headrest upholstery with a clerical knife, we make diagonal cuts from the corners of a large rectangle to the corners of a small one. Then, with our own hands, we completely cut out the upholstery along the contour of a small figure, and bend the resulting trapezoidal pieces of the upholstery remaining on the headrest outward from the center. After that, it is necessary to carefully remove the foam rubber within the boundaries of the resulting cutout (along the contour of the large rectangle). In this case, it is necessary to "dig" until a stiffening plate (metal or plastic) appears inside the headrest, which fixes the foam base and is fixed on a U-shaped tube, the ends of which are attached to the seat. We turn the trapezoidal pieces of upholstery inside the resulting recess and mark the place where the wiring will come out of the monitor. Trying on the mounting basket to the resulting recess to make sure it is the right size.

We decide where to lay the wiring for connecting the monitor - outside or hidden inside the chair. The first option is very simple to implement - the cable is attached along the entire length of the seat. The second is preferable, but also more difficult to implement. In addition, during its implementation, you will have to cut the monitor cable, which will deprive the latter of warranty service.

To route the wire inside the chair, use the headrest tube. Its inner diameter is approximately 8 mm. This is enough to accommodate the cable in it. The tube must first be exposed in the area where the wire exit from the monitor was previously marked. At this point with a clerical knife, slowly and gradually remove the layers of foam rubber, until the tube is found. Then we carefully drill a hole in it, along the edges of which we remove sharp burrs - they can subsequently damage the wiring. To run the cable inside the tube, you will have to cut one of its connectors for a while. We carefully push the cut end of the cable into the tube. If it is difficult to push it through, then you can use a thin steel wire or another, harder. A cable is tied to the end of the wire, and then it is pulled along with the wire.

Determine the method of fastening the basket and the location of the cable

Now you need to decide how to attach the basket to the headrest. To do this, you can use nylon ties of a suitable length or small self-tapping screws for screwing into the metal. In the first case, opposite the mounting holes of the basket in the headrest, remove the foam around the tube until it becomes possible to thread nylon ties around it. After that, their ends are wound with their own hands into the mounting holes of the basket and tightened tightly with clamps. More reliable option fastenings - using four self-tapping screws. They will firmly attach the mounting basket to the plastic (or metal) headrest stiffener. But at this stage, it is not necessary to mount a monitor for a car, as long as it is enough to decide on the mounting method.

On next step installing the monitor with our own hands, we determine the location of the adapters that switch the video signal and monitor power, as well as where to lay the wiring from them. At the same time, it is important to choose such an arrangement for all components so that they are at the maximum possible distance from the power wires of the car supplying its electrical equipment. The best option- lay the adapters in the middle of the cabin, in its center console, where the levers are located hand brake and checkpoint. There are no power wires supplying electrical equipment, and there is ample free space to accommodate adapters. The standard monitor wiring should be enough to run it from the adapters to the headrest with a small margin. The console must be removed for the duration of the work.

Laying the cable and installing the monitor in the headrest of a car

Remove the upholstery from the back of the seat before routing the cable inside the seat. Then we open the backrest and find inside its bushings, into which the headrest tubes are inserted.

We start laying the car monitor wiring. First, we install the headrest with our own hands. Before that, if we place the cable inside the seat, we pull the wiring through the backrest bushings into the seat. The cable, regardless of the way it is laid (outside or inside the seat), must leave a small margin of length for adjusting the height of the headrest. When laying the wiring, it is also necessary to exclude the squeezing or stretching of the cable; in the places of sagging, we attach it to nylon ties. When pulling the cable under the chair with your own hands, you should fix it with ties to the existing seat wiring and, again, you need to leave a loop (a small margin) to compensate for its tension if the chair is moved along the slide. Then we bring the cable from the seat to the center line of the passenger compartment and lay it along it to the front panel of the car.
