The main problem is paint swelling of the doors below the molding. The first time I applied to the driver's side. The dealer did the job without any problems, but the protective film was badly applied. On re-appeal, they said that this was a problem area, but they re-glued it again at their own expense. The second sore is the timing chain. In the spring, a loud roar appeared several times when starting the engine. A couple of weeks before the end of the warranty, I came to the dealer with a problem. I also drove this car for a long time. 1.8 4v4. 43 thousand km of run. At first, everything seemed to be like I wanted. The design, interior, handling, ergonomics are just wonderful. Holds the road perfectly. Lightweight, throttle response. Short-turn around without problems BUT! The suspension is stiff and feels flimsy; any crack sticks into the rear seat and radiates all over the body. No strength buzzing. (Rubber-studded Pirelli). The disadvantages of this crossover during the test were, unfortunately, the suspension, which pays less attention to road affairs and the engine, which in our opinion is slow and consumable. If not for this, then maybe the first place.

As for the Subaru XV, it was unexpectedly pleased with its price, easy fit, roomy interior and absolute off-road. On the other hand, nothing else impressed me.

Suzuki SX4 is worthy of attention if you evaluate the car in. In addition, Suzuki turned out to be quite roomy and versatile, although with a 2-liter power unit, and not the engine with which the test version was equipped, it would have been much more successful.

For many car owners, their main and very important part is the trunk. That is why it is worth comparing how it differs between Skoda Yeti and KIA Soul. The first vehicle in this regard can get the highest mark. The luggage compartment is a whopping 410 liters. It should be noted that the manufacturer has left the possibility of sliding the rear seat, which can add an additional hundred liters to the trunk. Therefore, in any case, they will by themselves occupy a certain amount of internal space. If this is done, then the compartment is still two times smaller than in the Skoda Yeti - about 700 liters. In addition, in this regard, it is also worth noting the convenience of removing the spare wheel. At KIA Soul, it is necessary not only to raise the floor, but also to remove the toolbox. Only then can a replacement wheel be pulled out of a very deep niche.

The dimensions of the cars are almost identical, with the exception of the ground clearance. The length of the KIA Soul is 4120 millimeters, while the Skoda Yeti is 4223 millimeters. The width is about the same - 1785 and 1793 millimeters, respectively. The height varies slightly, as the Skoda is 81 millimeters taller. At the same time, her clearance is also greater - 180 millimeters in comparison with 164 millimeters of the KIA. That is, the operation of Skoda in many cases will be more profitable and convenient for the driver.
