Start of work

So:

  • Place wheel chocks under the rear of the machine.
  • Put the car on the handbrake (see).
  • Remove the negative terminal from the battery.
  • Raise the right front side, in the direction of travel, with a jack.
  • Substitute a reliable support device in case of failure of the jack or other unforeseen cases.
  • Go down into the viewing hole.
  • Remove the rubber plug from the breather on the box.
  • Clean it of accumulated dirt, rinse.
  • Clean the breather inside, use a soft wire for this.
  • Put the stopper in place.

Oil drain

So:

  • Carefully unscrew the drain bolt with a spanner wrench. The prepared container should be nearby.

Attention! It is necessary to remove the cork carefully and at the same time try to be a little to the side, in such a position as to prevent hot liquid from getting on yourself.

  • Substitute the canister in advance, remove the cork.
  • Wait until all content has drained.
  • Put the plug in place, screw it in until it stops. Wash the drain area.
  • Remove the container, it can be useful for lubricating old parts.

Note: it is advisable to carry out work wearing rubber gloves, as the oil is absorbed by the skin of the hands and does not wash off for a long time.

  • Pull out the oil level dipstick.
  • Insert a plastic funnel, pour fresh. It is necessary to fill in the amount that is required for the car.
  • Wait 20-30 minutes for it to flow from the walls of the filler neck.
  • Use a dipstick to check the level, the oil should remain in the middle between the marks.
  • Wipe the dipstick, put in place.

If an old box is installed on the car, a probe is not provided there. The drain plug is located next to the filler neck.
Then you need to carry out the oil pump. It is a closed container with a pressurizing pump. Rubber hose with tip and tap for opening.
Necessary:

  • Unscrew the filling plug, put it next to it.
  • Pour the required amount into the tank, create pressure with a pump.
  • Insert into the hole in the filling part, open the tap.
  • Before removing the tip, prepare the cork.
  • Remove the tip at the same time, immediately insert the stopper. Spin it.
  • Wipe the box clean of spilled liquid.
