In the practice of traditional medicine, there are a number of cases when completely hopelessly ill people were cured of cancer of the breast, esophagus, stomach, liver with the help of hemlock. Hemlock also stimulates the work of hematopoietic organs, relieves varicose veins.
In folk medicine, an ointment (hemlock powder dissolved in honey) is used externally in the treatment of inflammation of the lymph nodes. The ointment works perfectly and as a wound healing agent.
Hemlock herb extract is used to wash malignant ulcers. Hemlock preparations are used for prolonged headache, chronic inflammation of the eyes (in the form of lotions), hearing loss, impotence, bone diseases.

Hemlock spotted has long been used (especially in ancient Greece) as an "official" poison, which was used to poison those condemned to death. It is believed that the ancient Greek philosopher Socrates and the military leader Focion were poisoned with hemlock poison. Since the time of Hippocrates, hemlock has been considered a medicinal plant.
The botanical name of the plant "conium" itself warns of danger, as it comes from the Greek "horse" - killing.
Spotted hemlock is also called speckled hemlock, smelly grass, golovolo, poisonous omega, poisonous stem.
